Looking to get into road cycling. Would this be any good for everyday use. I gather the tires may be too narrow for a comfortable ride especially in the potholed roads near me. Any other drawbacks to this bike?
Seller is looking for £135 for it.

If you are looking to get into roarbiking in my opinion that is a killer deal. As for comfort, road bikes are not the most comfortable bikes for leisure riding but then again thats not the intended use case. If you want to ride long distances at speed then a road bike is the way to go. If you want a bike to navigate rough roads then there are several other styles of bike to consider. But for $135 this a great bike and is far above what most entry bikes will offer dispite the age.
Look into more endurance minded bikes. A specialized Roubaix would be one example. More comfortable riding posture but still very much a capable road bike.
This is a race oriented bike. Like driving an f1 race car every day to work. Kind of a lot.
