Perfect fit. You have to remember when you’re riding that you’ll be hunched over a bit which if the jersey were longer would cause bunching fabric at the bottom. With the current fit you won’t have that issue

Perfect. Sometimes bibs can be lower on the stomach which makes a jersey seem short. It’s all a lot of trial and error.
The most important thing is how it fits on the bike.
I’m 188 cm and got the Medium Syndicate bibs in Sailor color. I love the look of this kit…especially the new graphics! The bibs were super tight on me but got better with more rides

You’re spot on. In addition to what the other folks mentioned, if it were too tight, your zipper seams could be splayed apart instead of covering the zipper teeth.
