[Music] [Music] Ben Italia Ingo here. How are you doing? This is sanctis in the gratal in the bay gardena all the way in the center of the Doommites. Welcome to Altoiche to sou I left Austria this morning quite early 4 hours drive and now I’m in the middle of this beauty and today we’re going to do something which was on my list for a very long time. It’s the world famous Caiser Alm here in Italy in the northern part of Italy. Uh all the villages, all the towns, all the mountains, all the passes, everything is in two languages, German and Italian. So I stick to the German. I don’t want to make any pronunciation mistakes. So from Sanctul it’s a little pass up to the Panida Satal which is about 400 m elevation gain up to 1,400 m. It’s already yeah right in the beginning a little challenge here. It’s a bit overcast. It was just about half an hour ago. Sunshine over there but according to the weatherman there should be no rain. We’re going up to the next village is called Castel Route as well. a very famous beautiful village in the middle of the Dolommites. Then we tackle quite a nasty climb up to the Zisa Alm 8 kilometers and the elevation gain is over 800 m, well over 10% climb. So that’s going to be I’m looking forward to that. And the size al is over 1,600 m high. And it’s the highest elevation alpine meadow in Europe. That’s why we’re going to go there. And I explain you more about that beauty later on. Folks, join me. It will be spectacular. [Music] Check this out. What a view. That’s Castle Root down there. Look at the big mountains over there. So this is castle route [Music] beautiful village or town I’m not sure in the background towering the mighty Doommites weather turned out to be lovely. Now, Castle Root is famous as well. Apart from being such a in a lovely setting, they have as well a music group quite popular in the German speaking area. Castle route folk music. So now 10ks, you see what they say of themselves. Or Italians, one of the finest country villages of Italy, right the center. Everything is wellmaintained, beautiful summertime, famous for hiking, plenty of mountains, cycling obviously, mountain biking, road cycling, and the winter time skiing big time. Now we are already going up Saisar Alm. It’s getting hot now in the sun. [Music] This is what it’s all about. That’s why I love road cycling. You can explore the world. Good for the environment and good for you, too. Amazing. Yeah. If you haven’t bought a bike yet, do it. Get off the couch. Move your body. And 1481 m. Switch back number four. I see this already. This is a a gem here for road cyclists. Obviously, obviously everybody’s heading to Stelvio 10:00 in the morning, stuck in the traffic. But this is amazing. Yeah, I said it plenty of times in previous videos. The Italians and the Spanish, they are so bike friendly. The motorists I’m talking about, very patient. They want that you survive the day, not like in other countries where they push you off the cliff. Yeah. Hats off to these politicians who dared to close this road for the traffic. Uh unbelievable. Many other countries they wouldn’t dare to touch off gates. Yeah. [Music] Made it up to the size Alm Alpisi. Most beautiful. So this is the plateau here. Lovely. So I’m going a bit further in than Compash. Let’s see. what we can discover. Nice people walking, hiking. Winter as well must be amazing here. Skiing. The elevation up here is 1,850 m. So I was lying in the beginning. I said 1,600. So from Zanto 23ks elevation gain 1,100 m. Beautiful. Hey, it’s enormous. 50 square kilometers. That one is the Lanc Kovville and this one is the plaque Kovville and the Marmalada is behind. You can’t see here. So this one these ones are 3,100 and 3,126. So quite high elevation. Wow. Yeah. What a sight. The Saer almis. Amazing. People from all over the world as well. From Japan, US, Australia. I heard it all here. Yeah. No wonder [Music] folks. Hope you enjoyed this little video about the Saisar Alm, how to get up here, introduction to the Doommites, the beauty of the Doommites. Next video is coming shortly about this area. Thank you very much for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe. Much appreciated. I see you in the next one. Meanwhile, don’t forget, keep on pedaling. Bye-bye. Cheerio. Chowo chiao. Chiao Italia. Well, it’s time to dip in the pool. Looks lovely. [Music] Come back. [Music] [Music] [Music]
