I’d lose the giant saddle bag. Find a way to stick your toolkit in your jersey pocket, it makes a bike look way cleaner/sleeker.

  2. Deeper wheels! Better looking rotors (the Shimano XT rotors are cool). Fun bottles that match the vibe of your jersey/bibs. If you can manage slamming the stem, that could help it look more “aggressive”. Lots of options.

Sell it and buy a different one. I’m not trying to be harsh but I’m not kidding. Most things you’re going to do to that bike are going to be more tacky than anything. I’d just ride it and enjoy it.

  4. Deeper wheels – it’s a big difference
If you like the look then buy tires with beige/yellow sides

  5. Just decorate it with yourself in some colorful kit and ride it somewhere exciting.

  6. I had a boring black bike that i blinged up with a pink stem cap, seatpost clamp and water bottle cages. Loved that bike.

I’m probably getting some custom vinyl cut out for my all black road bike.

  8. What’s boring about it?

To me it looks as it should, mismatched bottle cages and a big saddle bag, nothing wrong with either but address those before thinking oil slick accents which will scream go faster stripes on a truck here….this bike is a decent entry level utilitarian machine, I think if you want exciting you should save your money for an upgrade instead.

Don’t invest a lot in this bike. No decals. Get a smaller bag like a Silca Mattone, get some less generic, dark grey bottles and cages, and slam the stem. The bike will look so much better for very little money.
