Trying to figure out how old this bike is. Might get it for my son who is just starting out racing. The logos make me think 80s but it looks pretty good if it’s that old. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Decals definitely are an older style but the threadless headset and v-brakes say it’s from 1998-99 at the oldest.
