[Applause] 15, you know, so the atmosphere Let’s go to rock. [Music] Hey. Hey. How you doing? Just got here. Literally 3 or 4 minutes here, right? Let’s go. Where’s the camper? Where’s the camper? We’re at the camping. Do you want your email? Loads of people. Email Andrew if you want. [ __ ] [Music] I think I’ll be all right. I’ll see you. Fine. You say hello to the camera. Hello, camera. What have you made me? Pasta. Maybe some dinner, aren’t you? Yep. Should we get the table set up? Do you want the table up now? I reckon to eat. Yeah, I’ll finish the video. Finished editing Oscar and auntie’s well Oscar’s video for the race the other day. And I’m going to try and get out for a 90-minute ride, build my bike, and then I got a 45minute easy run, which I’ll do on the canal. And we got to figure out we’re going to live together for 4 days in this or more than 4 days. Yeah. Yeah. A week in this cramped space. So, we are in Rough doing a nice 90minute spin around the beautiful forest of Rough. Busy, busy, busy. Been editing everything, but we have a good weekend working with Zone 3, meeting the cast, guys. I’m watching Challenge Rock. Getting dark now. I don’t even know if you can see me. Now you probably can. Time for a run. out for a nice steady pl along the canal. It’s beautiful. Apart from many flies hitting my face. Get back for about 10:00. Get to bed Friday. Got the John free swim meet in the morning. 6 hour ride to do another busy fun weekend. Living the dream. 2 minutes Andy then I’ll be in bed. This is our setup. Andy’s bed. Not much space up there, but we’ll make it do. Andy’s working on 4 hours sleep. So, we’re going to go to bed now. And I’ll see you morning. Good night. We’ve got a fly in here. Andy. Hopefully, he stays down here with you. You going to have flies. Jack. [Music] Good morning. slept all right and was snoring. I’m going to go down to the swim start and film some bit morning. You got no honey? No. We need stuff like bananas, yogurts. Grass in it. You always get grass in your food when you’re camping. You ready to go film some triathletes, Dad? Yeah. Let’s go. You look the part. Thank you. [Music] [Music] Oh, so we’re back done some filming at the swim start and that met some of the zone on three athletes that are racing. Met some other people. Chatting to some pros and that Zach and then Mark Matthews who’s racing at the weekend. And then now we are just chucking all the footage in here. Color grading. I’m going to throw together a few reels for zone free. And Andy has made me a bit conci. What a legend. What book you reading, Andy? Madness before there were madness. You’ve had that for like 2 years, haven’t you? Well, Chris has had it for ages. Yeah. going to go to the shops and stock up on water, food, and all that stuff. I’m like a bit of a mess in here currently. Andy, you need to tidy up in here, mate. You got [ __ ] everywhere. You are the scruffiest ghetto I’ve ever known. What? You are the scruffiest ghetto I have ever known. You never tidy. You open everything. You never put anything away. If you’ve um camped at Roth before, there’s two campsites. One where we are, and that’s a parking field. We’re like 5 minute walk away from the swim start and bike transition. And then you’ve got another one across the road. And then you got rough sea where you can swim. You got the canal where was this morning where you can swim. Everything is very convenient close by. We’ve got a shop, aren’t we? Yeah. Just up the road. We have to manage two two baskets. Got a 6-hour ride today, which I mean there’s worse places to do a 6-hour ride. Just going to do the Challenge Roth bike course. Um, two loops of that I reckon I’ll be about 6 and 1/2 hours. 1 hour down, five to go. [Music] 2 hours 20 in and I’m not going to lie, I’m flagging. Legs have got nothing. I’m meant to be doing efforts for 1 hour on, 5 minutes off, three times, and I’ve just got absolutely nothing. I’m get my heart rate past 135. So, hey, it’s one of them days. Going to go have a pit stop at my dad halfway around, one lap, and then just try and grind it out for the rest of it. Bosch. Just coming past Sarberg Hill. Doesn’t look as exciting when there’s no one here. At the weekend, this will be packed with people either side. I’ve actually had to take a mid-ride pit stop. I’m feeling it. Feeling the heat. Feeling everything. So, I’m going to get toasty. We’re 3 hours 15. Try and refuel, rehydrate, and get back out there. [Music] Don’t want to go back out. It’s all around. Not the best day today. Stomach’s playing up a bit. legs are nowhere to be seen. No need to look too far into it. Everyone has these days where you’re just not feeling on it. Don’t worry about it. Get through the training if you can. Do the best you can. Don’t cook yourself any more than you need to. And don’t overthink it. Look at these trees, by the way. DJI is not doing it justice. There’s loads and they look cool. We are stuck on a gravel path. This is not good. Finally, that is us back. What are you making? Where got salmon, pasta, pesto, and a cup of coffeeed. I’m getting a shower cuz I am dying. 16 hours. One apple do. You don’t want any more of that? You sure? Medium rare. Do you want some salmon? No, I’m fine. We just No, I’m fine with just bit raw in the middle. Is it egg? No, it’s not. That’s how it’s supposed to be. Yeah. I’m not complaining. I’m just saying it’s raw in the middle. Not raw then. Dad, it is. I get food poison that another day down really. What have you done today then? What have we done? Went to swim start anyway. Went to shop. Went for a couple of beers. Fell asleep snow. Don’t know. Went to shops again. Came back and cooked your tea. It’s now the next day. I am absolutely cooked. I woke up just feeling so tired and we’re going to the experts. We got media passes now. [Music] [Music] This is a pretty cool shop. Is this the one you want to go? Uh, is this the new Kicker Run? I think so. Yeah, this is [Music] [Music] still here. [Music] Get out. [Music] [Music] Wow, it is hot. It is. I’m tired. Just been filming with Eloise, who was a pro triathlete sponsored by Zone Free. So, we’re just getting some shots of some goggles for her because apparently some new goggles are being released soon. So, we were just recording them. I am shattered. Really, really tired. It’s just non-stop like all day. Expo this morning. Trying to edit, trying to charge stuff. We’re having problems with the camper van. The leisure battery is not working very well. Uh just rode back now and 7:00 and we’ve got a 2-hour run to do. Steady build run. So, I’ got to get that done and then that’s kind of it for training. I might try and swim tomorrow cuz I haven’t swam in like 2 weeks properly since I’ve been back. It’s just hard. But yeah. So, we’ve got 2 hours running now. 10 minutes easy, 1 hour 45 steady, which in the past gone too hard for. So, I am literally just going to go steady, ignore pace. I see my coach said about 4:45 I think is what target pace is for maning leads around that. But today extremely tired, extremely long days, extremely long weeks. Just going to go a field and see what he’s at. And me and my dad are going to Luxembourg. So I might split up into two. This one is challenge rough video. And then next week is just me and my dad camping where I can spend more time with him and chill out a bit even though I’m going to be editing all day every day. Lovely views. I get my top off cuz there’s no one here. This rig’s not in fighting shape. Been neglecting nutrition. come back in a year’s time. Halfway through. Just trying to have a piss, but it’s those man bikers and [ __ ] So, I want to pick my spot carefully. Gone for the kneeler there just cuz it’s quite exposed around here. So, it’s probably the safest bet. Back into the run now. [Music] Hello. No worry. Was that better than normal? Um, yeah. Yeah. Only at the start. I had I had chronic heartburn. That’s why I was on my back. No. I mean, you did snore a lot, but um I just couldn’t sleep really. I don’t know. Wide awake till like midnight. Trying to get sleep straight away. kind of out there. Feel better though. [Music] Run away [Music] for my friend. [Music] Don’t runtorizy. [Music] [Applause] [Music] current situation is we’ve got the media pass on. We’ve been to the swim start this morning. Got some really good spots to be fair. I ended up actually managing to sneak into the VIP area. Got myself a little brekie and some drinks. It’s a bit mad in there. They started catching on afterwards. You got different numbers on your pass and different numbers on the back. And I’m not meant to be in VIP, but we somehow got in there now charging my camera. Just edited a little story. I put on some slow motion stuff for me and zone 3. So, posting that and then the lads are on the bike. They’re like 90 km in. We’re going to go try and capture some of the zone 3 athletes getting out the swims. free their team and then rude as well. But it’s nails capturing everyone, especially when I’m not like I’m not actually directly getting paid for this. Full transparency kind of in a way, but if I was getting paid, I’d be like I’ll be there all day. I’ll like for the try, guys. Absolutely slogging it. But I’m having a bit of fun. Having a bit of chill time. Let’s go. Done. Come on. Peanut. Let’s go. Let’s go. [Music] Yeah, not only heads America [Applause] [Music] warm welcome to our international stars from 108 nations. behind midnight [Music] female. swimmers pros of the men pros in the swim. We have been back editing making some stories and now I’m going to go try and cycle to the finish line rapid cuz they got like less than 10 km left until the first people get here. Sam Lello is in third first and Shamberg is second. So I’m going to try and catch and finish cuz that will be class. Back on gravel again. Weaving in and out of [ __ ] I’ve missed the finish as well. Gutted just bikes everywhere. Sam Ller’s won it looks like. [Applause] So our director for traffic in the surrounding. I’m glad you found time to, you know, start getting the atmosphere. United States born Atlanta. [Music] [Applause] Come on, Dan. Smile for the camera. We’re 10 km then you you’re done. Keep going, mate. Well done. Don’t know if you can see me, but we’re heading back through back to camp. It’s been a long day. We ended up being at the press conference somehow. I do not feel like I should have been there. I just sat it in in the media room charging my kit and then Sam Ller walks in and all the podiums from the male and females. So, that was pretty cool. And then yeah, now we are on the same route as we came on, just a lot quieter. Earlier when I was trying to catch Samwin, this was where I was coming from and it was packed. So yeah, it’s about 7:00. Going back now, get some food. Carry on editing. I was editing Anony’s Frankfurt video before the press conference. And yeah, we’re rounding off. Challenge rough. What an experience. So, I would love to go to the finish line and see like the lights and everything and the party, but it’s just a long weekend and a long day. Now, I need to rest Instagram. Ah, thank you. I’ve already taken a Oh, yeah. video of that. Right. And that is the challenge rough camping race video weekend over. Um, it was a great weekend. Very busy coming straight from Frankfurt. I was pretty tired and flat out all all um all weekend as usual, but I’ve enjoyed it. Have you enjoyed it, Andy? Very much so. Yeah, thank you. Very much so. Andy’s been a bit on edge all weekend, so I’ve had to be careful around him like treading on edge shells, but you’re a grumpy little get. We’re going to Luxembourg for two nights and then when are we going to get back to the UK? FZY. So, looks like I’m going to do another video about just camping. So, you’ll probably see that just more camping and training. Subscribe if you want to follow along more. We got leads in 3 weeks now. Don’t know when this video will be out. I’m going to try and edit now on the way to the campsite.
