    I’m a simple guy. I see a Sunday!, I upvote a Sunday!.

This is a Sunday! Primer, which is their entry-level bike. $500 new. This one has been abused and left outside.

Since it was $5, absolutely worth fixing up.

First order of business: rotate the handlebars clockwise one rotation, brakes might actually work.

Some wd40 at the rusted bits but careful not to get it everywhere. Don’t bother with the chain, that thing is dead. Just get a new one.

Bearings, especially front hub, might need service

Prolly a decent $150-$200 flip if everything’s in working order

  3. Is the frame, bars & fork rust free? Cranks are fine from this picture, your hubs, bottom bracket & axels will need to be rebuilt due to the rust (Should be sub 50-70 maybe $100 if you take it to a shop, sub $50 if you do it yourself, make sure you got a big ol can of grease too)

NGL, the tires don’t look dry rotted from the pictures

Replace grips at your discretion, if they are falling apart obviously replace

If there is no rust in your pedals, repack and re-grease them too

If your tires have no dry rot, your brake pads should be fine, however I replace mine quite often so might as well ($15ish bucks)

All in all for $5 I would buy this, fix it up flip it or give it to one of the kids in my neighborhood.

As long as your frame, fork & bars don’t have rust on them (I’m talking like heavy rust like you see on the axel bolts) this is an easy fixer upper. Sub $50-70 for the hubs, BB, pedals, I would also take a look at the headtube for the headset, but TBH these are the parts that generally fail last. If it needs to new outer tubes thats another $60ish, new brake pads would be $15, grab a BMX bolt kit from source its like $15 and you can replace rusted bolts anywhere you see (Cranks, headset bolts, etc)

All in all, if the outer tube & brakes dont have dry rot. Sub $100 if you have to buy grease and new bearings. If you need new tires expect another 60-80ish especially since you’ll need new inner tubes

If you open things up and find its only the axel bolt & axel rusted & bearings are fine, things are 10x cheaper.

You could try de-rusting with CLR or WD40 but that rust looks heavy, but me personally that rust is suuuper thick I would replace

TL;DR: Could fix this up for $150 depending on a few factors, buy it definatly worth it and if you dont want it just sell it on marketplace for $200-250
