[Music] And so to the day everyone had feared stage 14 destination Super Baner, everybody ready for what would be one of the most torturous days on this year’s tour of France. Would it be for the breakaway? Would it be indeed the usual suspects? Maybe a combination of both. I guess we’re going to find out. But certainly an awful lot at stake. Places in the overall classification still to be decided. Save it seems for top spot. Would it be a breakaway? Quid Simmons felt like it might. And of course, points up for grabs in that green jersey competition that Jonathan mean desperate to stave off the challenges posed by Tanipuki himself. Paul our starting point through Lords. Say your prayers. And then indeed an intermediate sprint and the high ground over 5,000 m of altitude gain. This was designed to hurt and so it would prove to in more ways than one. A quick look at the altimery and you can understand why this was indeed badged up as the queen stage of this year’s race. Christian Pum flagged us away and a solid breakaway got itself established. And then this Matty Shelos getting it wrong with a piece of street furniture, gashing his left forearm and out of the race. Up front, Milan was making sure of the green jersey points in the intermediate sprint, but this simply an announcement to the high ground that would characterize the day. The tormale, the Aspa, the Perisud, and Super Bigner itself all up ahead of us. But the road ahead of Ramco was about to run out. Didn’t want the camera around him. Terrible time trial. A disastrous opening day of course for him and his team just got tactics wrong and everything else has just gone down like dominoes unfortunately. Well, our breakaway was also starting to fracture and likewise the pelatin itself. Some big riders. Ben O Connor was up there. So was Lenny Martinez and he wanted mountain points carrying the polka dot jersey on behalf of Talibuka. He wanted to make it his own and the little guy did precisely that. Another dimisive figure with high power when he’s good from Ko Nepal bowing out of the race leaving the young riders classification up for grabs and more than that top five positions to be remastered. Well, they were driving the pace along at indeed the call of Talibaja. Lenny Martinez was taking mountains points. Rusty Woods was doing his job as well. But several others within the breakaway were thinking when would this day end. Well, it nearly ended prematurely for quite a few. Very limited visibility down to 50 m. And Lenny Martinez almost troubling the padding on that bridge. Keeping his powder dry was teleport in the rainstorm and still hanging around out there and hoping for something out of the day. There were plenty. Zepus was pushing on Panta likewise. But guess what? Lenny Martinez just continued to do his thing. He’d had the tormale then the Aspa. What about the Berud which was coming up? Maro was doing a fantastic pacing job for UE team Emirates. Kus Berry Pantra and Woods all coming together as a fighting quartet. Still the drying ground once we left the cloud cover on the peak of the mountains was something of a challenge especially at the pace that they were going. A reathering of our breakaway two from Grenaders with team Arisman and Carlos Rodriguez were up there and then of course the final peaks were starting to show themselves. Time to push on if you had anything. And Arrowsman did exactly that. He left the breakaway riders behind. Lenny Martinez checking over his shoulder, desperate for Mountain’s points because if Paga was to win the day, he needed every point he could pick up. Aaron crossed this test and Lenny Martinez. Was that a thank you or do you mind not overtaking me at this point? We were never quite sure, but having finished second on that peak with one to go, it meant that Martinez would be guaranteed the polka dots at the end of the day. No guarantees in this game though, as you well know, and a few were just starting to struggle out there. Jorgensson was one of those going backwards as team and Aaron continued to go forwards. And what about the favorites themselves? Well, they were eating into that breakaway and slowly but surely catching just about everybody out on the road. Felix Gar was uh feeling brave and so was Jonas Finger. He pushed on in the company of guess who? Dip catcher and of course the fabulous Floren Leapovitz. The young man has been brilliant and so has this youngster Oscar Onley. They all thinking about the white jersey. Jonas Fingo thinking about finding time and putting the hurt on leave dropped by the pace injection from Yonas staying with him of course terrible catcher. Flam Rouge beckons 90 seconds separating Tim and Arensman from the charging principles. Well, he’s got some of his own. Cuffed his face in disbelief and took the biggest win of his career. The Dutchman that was fantastic. Queen stage as well. Well, raging behind of course Dip Patcha and the way he took on Vingo here, you think he may even have had it within him to take the stage itself, but he boxed clever and played a psychological battle against his nemesis and found yet another gap as well as some bonus seconds, increasing his lead overall. It’s almost cruel. Pugatcha offering up his congratulations. Sorry. Two team and aronman. Super worksman taking ahead of Pugata. Bing go. Leapovitz rounding out the top five. Spectacular win by the rangy Dutchman. Hley also getting a good finish. Ben Healey who’s been active early on ahead of Rogich Johann. It was great. Yeah. Well, not really. I to be honest, I just wanted to experience a tour to France, the biggest race in the world. I did a lot of jeros and fuelas with really good GC results and so like you said a stage win in the fuela and a lot of times really close in the jirro but yeah I wanted to experience the biggest race in in the in the world and then to win a stage in my first tour on on this way is it’s unbelievable you know it’s crazy it’s also wonderful so is this Martinez now eight points clear of Talibasio could have picked up more points than Lenny on the final climb, but Martinez have done enough during the day to assure polka dots, but at least for now, battles raging elsewhere. Of course, the general classification Diva looks like a man waiting to be crowned. He’s lead 4 minutes and 13 seconds over Bingo. But some changes as well. Leap of its upper place of course only likewise Roan and Roglitch all because Aanov stepped off the bike today. The next stage well it is going to be a beauty. It’s destined surely for a breakaway Kakasun with a downhill run into town in the ancient city. It’s going to be absolutely beautiful. There’s a category 2 test that introduces that downhill run. There will be many ahead of the rest day that want to go allin and allin is the race that this has become. Fabulous tour of to France, a great leader and opportunities for others. Let’s go racing again with stage 15. [Music]

  1. I want to know why we can't watch the tour on ITV anymore. What's the story behind this bullshit? Are you going to tell the fans the truth ITV, Ned, David, anyone? I think it's a disgrace. In France, they show the whole race for free every year. As usual we're charging people for crap.

  2. Remco gets way too 'down' on himself. This is NOT a surprise. He has never been super successful on the big mountains. He needs more experience…and even then he may never be a true 'mountain man'.

  3. This is fucking ridiculous !
Just call it the tour de Pogacar ?
He doesn't need a team , he can beat the whole peliton by himself ? Something is not right
If it is , then we have a new species of human evolution. Dominate all year long ? If I even remotely believe this ,my closet would be full of UAE stuff . The UCI is questionable ? If you know the results of every race that Pogacar enters, then this is boring and ridiculous ! It was over for Visma after the first time trial ? And Pogacar continues to put time into Jonas . And they are throwing everything at him ? I watch because I like cycling and F1
    But this doesn't feel right

  4. Not surprised the Ineos car hit a spectator, they were so desperate to get to Arensman they overtook the Martinez group on the narrow summit while they were about to sprint for the KOM. Totally irresponsable. Born of desperation to win something after so long.

  5. Dull, dull, deadly dull… what the hell happened to all those guys who used to run alongside the riders, urging them on and providing a bit of colour and excitement to the Tour? Ok, safer now – but SO boring and sterile. As is this Tour itself; everybody knew before the start that Pogacar would win, barring accidents, and Vingegaard would be second.

  6. its all pogacar in the end, that 4minute lead is nearly imposible to catch, only a crash can stop pogacar from winning this tour de france 2025.

  7. Lipo macht einen so stolz 😊 und primoz halt auch nur mimuten dahinter und ich denk er ist einer der wenigen, der die form wohl auch in die lezte woche tragen kann 🎉

  8. Remco: "But I'm the WORLD CHAMPION, damn it! I have a GOLD MEDAL in road racing! Stop riding faster than me–or I'll quit!" I knew this guy was a punk when he drove his bike off a cliff in one of his first pro races and almost died. Who does that???

  9. Our Slovenian beast Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates doing a great job! Jonas was alone in half UAE Team and he want attack a Tadej!? 🤣Without something strange, crash o mecanic problems TDF was over few days ago. I hope Roglic can came to 3 place. 💪🏆🇸🇮
