If the normal crank puller doesn’t work there is a crank puller that has a wider bit that pushes against the square taper
Which crank puller are you using? Park, Pedros, and other companies make a crank puller where the piece that presses against the BB spindle can be swapped out for different BB standards. Based off of the scratches/rust removal inside the center of where the crank bolt goes, it looks like you’re using the piece meant for Octalink bottom brackets instead of square taper.
