I swapped Brompton's M bars with JK mid-rise, which are shorter and with a slight sweep back. I didn't take before pictures (mistake), but I found after the swap that with the tilt I set, the front brake cable actually looped around where the tensioner attaches to the rear hub and stops it from unfolding. Not every time, but it was confusing when it happened.

I tilted the bars a bit inward, and now it no longer gets caught, but it does seem to sit maybe 1" left and 1" lower than the pictures of stock 12-speed c lines I can find. I think I could rotate the brake levers away to reduce slack a bit more, but I also may have just messed something up during the swap.

Has anyone else made this swap and run into the same issue?
