The newer complete bikes are way, way better than this era of completes. It might be worth it to save a couple more hundred dollars and get a new complete Sunday, kink, or cult. Even the entry-level models will ride well and you’ll enjoy it far more.
I’ve found that this subreddit gives terrible advice for this sort of thing. I’ve been riding hard for 20 years and am very aware of what is worth it and what isn’t.

Killer deal. Its full crmo and comes with eclat double wall rims.
Maybe need to change tires, grips and chain because of the age.

$100? Sure. It was just about the best thing WTP made back then. Should be a 20.8ish ht, full 4130 throughout and don’t look TOO cooked. As long as it’s still got the Saltplus hubs it SHOULD still have doublewalls on it and not be swapped for a walmart wheel. Clean it up, throw a new BB/headset/chain at it and give’r

I had a WTP complete from that era, and the fucken thing was bomb proof. I’d say go for it.
