  1. Transfer more weight to the rear when your arms are straight versus using your arms to lift the front. Bend your arms after you’ve transferred your weight to lift the front end even more and then push the bars away from you while kicking up the rear a little with your pedals.

Watch some videos on YouTube and practice manuals, they kind of go hand in hand.

It takes time to get the feel, even if you understand the concept.

You need to go much faster. It looks like you were riding in slow motion !

You are putting too much body down for the compression. It should not take that much force to get the momentum you need to pull the front up.

Practice on unweighting the front tire by shift your weight back more.

You can bring the front up without having to get so low up front like in the video.

Roll along slowly and unweight by shifting your weight back. You should be able to pop the front tire off the ground a little. Try to do this multiple times in a row as an exercise.

When you go back to practicing jumping like this you will be able to utilize your legs more for that pop.

Good start. As others have said work on your manuals, we dont manual to bunny hop but they are cousins. At the moment you are bending at the knees to transfer your weight forward, use your head and your hips a bit more…. Easy to say stuff like that I know, to feel it, try bunny hoping onto something and build up in height. This will encourage you to drive the front wheel up and commit to the weight transfer.. plus it’s fun and useful. Just tricky to find the different heights to practice on but they are around. Keep up the good work champ, its all there 🙂
