  1. Looks like air is getting through the tire’s cords. I’d pull the tire and use a regular tube patch inside the casing before riding.

i don’t see exact model, but the rubber looks like it has some small cracks…. does it have 1-2y years ?

  3. It’s about 12 weeks pregenanté. Give it another 6 months and you’ll have a new tire

  4. That’s a bubble. They sometimes occur on car tires. The tires are made from several layers and when air gets in between those layers a bubble forms. The bubble can unfortunately grow at any point, the layers separate and the tire fails catastophically. Replace it. It should be okay for one or two lighter rides, but I wouldn’t do alpine descents on it. Order a new one.

To give you a straight answer: The “cord” is broken in the bulging spots. Your tire is a sandwich, with outer and inner layers of rubber, and a layer of fabric in the middle. It’s the fabric that resists the pressure inside the tire. That bulge is a place where the fabric layer is broken, and the rubber is bulging through.

It will blow, and when it does, it will be abrupt and complete. If this is a rear tire, you will be stuck waiting for a ride home. If it is a front tire, the ride is likely to be an ambulance.
