Take 2. First time I posted I forgot the photo and couldn't figure out how to edit it in!
Just building up an old (late 70s, early 80s) road bike. Was replacing the brake pads and cables and noticed that this thing is about to shatter. Anyone got an idea what it's called so I can look for a replacement?
Thanks!

It’s name is dead
You need to replace the entire brake.
If for some obscure reason you want to replace with an identical brake. You will have to look in a bicycle junkyard. Considering that this is a steel cheapo brake if you can avoid the identical brake do it.
Brake pivot bolt. The front and rear are different lengths. There is a good chance that a lbs will have one in stock.
There is some finesse required in tensioning the brake arms so they operate but don’t have play.
Generally my concern would be if that part is that bad, how are the rest of the brake holding up?
Personally, for how inexpensive this brake style is to replace I would just do that. Brakes are one thing I’m a fan of not taking chances with.
