I, like many others, lost one of the rubber protectors like the ones circled on the pic. I contacted Canyon to ask them to ship me some replacements, and here is their reply :
"I hope this message finds you well.
As requested, the reference you need is: E237-15 Blind Plug. The unit price is €4.95, and the shipping cost to Canada is €49.00.
Please let me know if you would like to proceed with placing the order, and I’ll be happy to assist you further.
Thank you and best regards,
Florencia
Global Service Center"
As polite as this is, I find the shipping cost a tad too high for a friggin' plug.
Has anyone found an aftermarket alternative?
3D printed plug?
Anything?

Aliexpress: Bike Cable Plugs
Canyon need to do something about the cables plugs, you can lost it very easily… I also need two…
these are purely cosmetic (might cost you .01 watts). do you have a canyon service provider near you? canyon has partnered with bike shops in NA (the meteor in dallas for me) and im sure they could order you one without the shipping fee.
if your concerned about rain/water, dont be. should be a hole in the bottom bracket for drainage. the fork should have a hole for drainage as well.
Cut one out using black tape and something underneath for contour. I can hardly notice it.
I contacted Canyon service in my country and they sold me those parts directly rather than making me buy the set through the website.
You can probably 3d print or do some using epoxy putty
You can add some other product to the basket to get you over the minimum for free delivery. Then you use free return of additional item leaving you with plug delivered for free.
Like someone else suggested, I got some for my gravel bike on AliExpress. Cost was like $3 including shipping.
