Bike has been built for a month and this is the only decent photos I've gotten of it so far.
It's a genuine 7up branded MTB from 1991, no idea who actually made the frame as there's no history online. Was in really rough condition. Stripped back to bare metal, painted white again, remade all the graphics exactly to original spec. Fiberglassed the rear of the discs as they were cracked and damaged all over.
That's where the original bits stop. New 1×10 deore drivetrain with older XT cranks and an eBay 38t narrow wide chainring, Maxxis Hookworm tyres, new Shimano cantilever brakes and 4 finger levers. Shimano MTB pedals. ODI Long neck grips, Madison Saddle, Madison/MPart Rims front and rear. And some unbranded seatposts, stem and bars from a salvage store. And an Elite bottle cage.
It's now what I would call near perfect, just looking for a good looking chrome pizza rack for the front and it'll be done! Rides great, looks epic and gets attention anywhere I go.
