[Music] welcome to my stay at a hotel within the complex of Vera wants the house of the king’s Minister of Finance which was recently fully recovered in deep respect for the original decoration and style and transformed into a hotel with only 13 suits we stayed at the mar fuk Suite itself the first historical experience of many that awaited us on our stay [Music] it’s the core transports you straight back to the 18th century with an intricate W fabric with a flowery pattern in Black against a white background also used in different decorative pieces for a fully tied up [Music] Aesthetics most of the furniture like in the whole hotel is recovered and restored from the 17th and 18th [Music] centuries we were welcomed with beautiful and thoughtful gifts each of us received a cotton night shirt with our initials embroidered into the sleeve [Music] cuff they also left us a bottle of olive oil from a shaulis tuo in provance where I have already done a tasting tour of their different olive oils this Suite has viewed to the lawn and water reservoir created to irrigate the king’s vegetable garden and where locals find today a space for relaxation and picnicking on the living room decorated along the same style as the bedroom a few other treats also awaited us a teed stand with some of the most emblematic flavored macaron from lad a warm welcoming letter from the team atol who was impeccably kind throughout the whole stay and the box of the finest pin by the chocolate your house Louis fuk the bathroom was the room that felt more up to date with all the elements of comfort that our modern lives require but it style was so very much in line with the classical lines of the hotel and [Music] bedroom once we were fully settled in we added down to a te time in the delor stas the weather was very inviting and the temperature warm enough to sit outside with views to the ofai while enjoying the Delicacies of this the time with historical character an occasion that was also one of the favorite moments of the day for Mar andanet with the menu of pastries cakes and chocolates designed by Alan duas to honor the preferences of the [Music] Queen the whole Ambience around was very calm and sooting with the sound of water gurgling in the fountains the SHP of birds echoing in the air and the gentle rustle of the tree leaves swaying in the breeze time seemed to fly and as 6:00 turned it was time toward adds to our next Activity one that I much looked forward to once the chat veril closed to the public we passed by the almost empty or and went straight to the Royal Court yard fully desert at this time of the day we were then presented with an after hours guided visit of the chatau with a particular emphas on the Queen’s Apartments the visit was divided into two groups one in French the other in English the chat de ver is always a Marvel to admire with such intricacy details and dark covered walls that have seen so much history but to see it better visitors really brings it all to a new level of beauty and ha we visited the whole wing of the Queen’s apartment which stops at the SEL the end chamber the salon the noble and finally the Queen’s bedroom which often times wasn’t as private as one would think as it was here the first presentation to the public of the newborn princess and princesses was made just moments after the queen gave birth [Music] after the Queen’s bedroom came the very highlight of the visit the Grand and imposing Hall of Mirrors its refined and abundant details the art and history all over the room but above all the light that floods this immense space especially under the late afternoon Golden Tones are simply unmatchable to walk this vast Hall devoid of phys visors is such a privilege an experience only attainable thanks to our stay at L control afterwards we visited smaller back rooms that were not open to the public back in the day and were used only for the private fruition of the queen this included their Library resting rooms and rooms to receive only our closest friends [Music] once the visit came to an end we headed back to the hotel under this beautiful sunet with views to the still and quiet for dinner time we were invited to the Royal Feast a theatrical enactment of a royal dinner by the ANS of Chef aland luas we were guests of the ministry of finances for the King was the owner and resident of lanun and we came in as the duck and Duchess of noay this nine curses dinner was held in a low light intimate and very refined environment with the servers dressed in 18th century costumes and the food being a celebration of the finest French cuisine [Music] [Music] STW is the white cream to go [Music] with after dinner we asked for permission to go to the indoor swimming pool and spa area for some relaxation time to wrap a day full of new and unique experiences [Music] our second day started with a royal Awakening where a staff member acted as a servant scratching lightly on our bedroom door opening the curtains and leaving some morning tea after some relaxation time in a hot bath we added down to breakfast [Music] [Music] [Music] the day was beautiful which was just perfect for our next activity a visit to the Pano before it opened to the public in the sked tour you were taken through essentially all the rooms in each of the three floors of the small state within the Versa complex where the queen would come to get away from the public display that the life in the chatau demanded here she would enter her own private domain be able to fully be and have a vast Garden outside at her fully private [Music] disposal this was yet another unique and invaluable experience for the guests of L and I feel so thankful for this privilege [Music] that’s why we afterwards and as the weather was absolutely beautiful we had a quick lunch at the hotel before going out to explore the gardens and the park of verai for a few more hours we took an electric buggy from the hotel although you can also rent one at the Garden as a regular visitor fi and leisurely visited the different Gardens The Fountains and bins and the vastness of the park of Bai in this sunny early spring Saturday afternoon [Music] thank you for joining me on this unique experience at Versa if you enjoyed this video consider subscribing to my channel as I’ll will be unveiling exclusive and special
