[Music] Folks, welcome to Crystal Motorcycles in Doncaster. Welcome to the channel. I’ve got something a little bit special for you this afternoon or evening or morning depending when you’re watching, of course. Um, at time of filming, it’s afternoon. It’s the 1979 Kawasaki Z1300. So, the beautiful six-cylinder machine. Uh, and it is it’s lovely. Absolutely lovely. Don’t see too many of these. Uh it’s first one we’ve had in a long time. So uh bit of a a unicorn if you like. Not many around. So yeah, let me just throw some facts and figures at you first. It is registered as a historic on the V5. Uh we’re currently showing 40,451 miles. Um got lots of paperwork with the bike which we’ll go through in a minute. Uh I’ve got two keys, etc., etc. Again, we’ll go through all that kind of jazz in a minute. So, if you’re new to the channel, what I’m going to do is grab you guys. We’ll have a walk around the bike. We will have a startup shortly and then we’ll have a chat. So, first of all, let me come and grab you guys and let’s have a slow walk around this beautiful machine. Oh, excuse my squeaky shoes today. Uh, but yeah, just uh in all its glory. Like I say, it is registered as as historic on the V5, which means no tax or test if you’re unfamiliar with that situation. Okay, let’s check out that rear tire. Loads of life left on that. That doesn’t need replacing anytime soon. Gorgeous exhaust. All the uh drive shaft down here. All looking nice and pretty. The paint works really nice on this bike as well. The seat very good condition. There’s no rips, no tears on the seat. and the paintwork on the tank. That could do with just a little bit more glue just to hold that down. But it’s been that hot in the building. I think it’s just come away. But yeah, look at that. Them badges and what have you. So, I’m going to let the camera do most of the talking on this walk around because it is such a nice bike and a rarity these days as well. Like I say, we haven’t had one we’ve had more CBXs in than we have uh than we’ve had these. Look at that dashboard. Brilliant. Love it. And just look at those headers. Yep. All six of them. Got a bit of a rad guard going on there as well. Beautiful. Front tire. Plenty of life left in that as well. As we come around onto this side of the bike, again, nice and clean. Nothing major to report. Everything’s as it should be. Z300 exhaust. What a nice bit of kit that is. What a lovely bike. And again, these exhaust stamped up KZ300. So, I’m just going to put you guys back down here. and then we’ll have a startup and we’ll kind of go from there. I think you’re somewhere about there. We’ll go with that. I’ve got no cameraman on this video, so I’m flying solo. So, uh, let’s do a cheeky startup. [Music] Listen to that. Woo! Obviously, it’s a cold start up, so I’m not going to give it too much means. [Music] How throaty is that? Like I say, cold start up, so I’m not going to give it too much uh on the old uh throttle there. That was up to 2 and a half thousand that. But the the depth of of the you know, of the rev. Oh man, that’s awesome. I can’t wait to have a go on that. Uh I haven’t had I actually haven’t had a ride on it yet, but uh I will do I’ll have a quick spin to the end of the road and back. Okay, so paperwork wise, let’s just have a quick look what we’ve got. I’ve got a spare key, uh original Kawasaki key. Uh looks like I’ve got a good pile of invoices from Z Power, etc., etc., of parts and stuff like that. just predominantly consumables to be fair. Um, looks like it has had a recent cam chain tensioner, carbon let rubbers, uh, new battery, uh, carbs have been cleaned, thermostat, new plugs. In fact, we put new plugs in yesterday, uh, air filter, uh, new stator as well. So, it’s had quite a bit of work done to this bike in recent times, and it goes to show, you know, it’s been, uh, well looked after. It looks fantastic, sounds even better. So, um, so yeah, like I say, it is down as historic on the V5 as well. So, the bike will still go through the workshop for a full check over prior to coming out. I can offer finance on this vehicle. Please call me for that and we will I can quote you. Classic biking finance works slightly different to modern bike financing, just the setup of it and stuff like that. So, give me a call. Other than that, stay safe out there, and I appreciate the watching and the viewing. And if Yeah, just keep it up. Keep it up, guys. See you soon. Thank you very much.
