I rode on the sleeping bear heritage trail, absolutely beautiful. There were places to refill water along the way which was very nice. This trail is full of steep hills 11% grade maximum
About 1/8 of the trail was gravel, but I was using a mountain bike so not too much of an issue.

Sweet! Looks like a fun trail! I’m in MI too and haven’t been up in 15 years. I hope to go soon.
I also hope to do my first 50 mile this summer, longest I’ve gone so far is 30 miles
