  1. Take the core out and use an air compressor. It won’t stay inflated but you need to put air in faster than it can leak out

Air compressor or floor pump with MASSIVE volume and the shoulder workout of a lifetime

Air compressor to seat the bead. Or if you’re feeling crazy, ether and a lighter. 😜

  4. I’ve done it with the core removed and a $20 floor pump a ton of elbow grease. I was sweating buckets afterwards but it worked.

Seat one bead with a tube to start. Then air compressor/tubeless booster/high volume pump.

Soapy water on the sides of the tire that hit the rim.

    Then inflate to 30psi.

    That’s what i do.

Sometimes I need to make sure air is not escaping.

Maybe you need a faster air pump.

you need to tie a bungee cord around your tire, remove the core and try to inflate it. if you don’t have a bungee cord you can cut an old tube and tie it around the tyre.

Bro my bike came with that shit blue rim tape as well. Only thing that worked was retaping it with something better (assuming you don’t have an air compressor)

Just like ur squeezing it in the video, you wanna add air in and keep doing that around the whole tire, that way the air is getting spread out the tube, so that the tire bead can sit all around evenly. This is how I did it Atleast, since I didn’t have a air compressor on hand. Then after get a light and inspect that the bead is seated on both sides- all around.

thanks to everyone that gave me suggestions and i’ve finally fixed it 🎉🎊🎊👏

  11. I use a ratchet tie down strap right around the tyre to squeeze the tyre slightly- and then a hand pump with a compression tube to plow the tyre on. Makes it easy.

Welcome to the true mtb right of passage…

I use soapy water in a spray bottle and no sealant ( I add sealant with the valve core removed)

Pull the valve core, Spray the bead generously with soapy water and pump till it pops into place

the soapy water will help it slip on and it also assists with keeping the air sealed.
