So, as the title says.. I stopped riding pretty young(21) due to a knee surgery, got into cars. Now im 35 and ready to pick up a bike again. I was always a flybikes lover. Even tho im in canada, I've always played the waiting game and ran fly frames. So I decided to pick up a mid level fly complete, despite what people said about wait times. I pre ordered it, got 20% off and it took about 3 months to show up. Once it got here, I was really happy with the build quality. It looks comparable to a fully custom bike from my time. Ive been just slowly working on bike control and re learning some basic tricks(stomped a 180 first try, I was stoked). After playing around with the new fly bikes for about 2 weeks, my wife started asking me to teach her some stuff(bunny hops and manuals).. so I let her just ride the bike around and feel it out.. then I got her to do some solid curb height hops in under 10min.. so she naturally started wanting to perfect her bunny hops and manuals. So I said screw it and bought her a sunday primer. She's a similar height to me(5'10) so I got here the same tt size as my bike, 20.75. And it just happens to be purple, so that's neat for her. I just finished unboxing the primer and im also really stoked on it for the price. It definitely needs some upgrades, but for a tall skinny women just starting out, I think this was the right choice. Its definitely not as nice as the fly, even tho they are only afew hundred apart(580cad for the sunday, 750cad for the fly). Both are low to mid level completes. So im going to just leave this post here and keep people updated on the quality of these bikes. I like the fact that I have 2 2025 completes i can compare. Ill also be posting my wife's progression on her new sunday primer. Just for fun. This was a long post, that really had no point, sorry for that😎

Compared to when I was a kid, completes are super rad now. Sealed everything and 3pc cranks for an affordable price.
