I went from Helsingborg to Malmö to Göteborg and really enjoyed that. Swedish backroads are nice as well, just cruising through foreign neighborhoods are vibes. Looks like a nice trip, should be fun!

  2. Ridden pretty extensively in this area. Some of my favourite riding is from Båstad down to Helsingborg. Rest of skåne has good riding. Good roads, not too much traffic, plenty of obscure cafes to stop at.

Trip I did last year was Öresundståg upto Gothenburg, hopped on the regional train to Strömstad, then rode down the west coast back to Lund.

    Would recommend.

I bikepacked some days in Skåne. The northern part is quite a classic swedish landscape while the rest is mostly fields and feels more like northern germany or denmark.
On most larger roads the vibe is unusually stressed for scandinavian standards (like a lot of honking and close overtakes). Also the common camp spots are heavily used, even off season, so don’t expect a lone wilderness trip and keep your setup together for others to join.
On the other hand there are some lovely highlights on your route, like Stenshuvud.
In my opinion there are more attractive regions close by but sill might be woth it.
