    They aren’t that worn, but they’re dry rotted. The rubber is harder than is used to be, as indicated by the cracks.

    It’s okay to ride, just be aware of two caveats :

    – it will wear down faster than normal

    – it won’t be as grippy as it should, especially on wet surfaces

  2. These tyres are just old, not worn. Still bad if you plan on relying on your bike. Get new ones and maybe ride your bike more, if it’s standing around lots make sure to protect it somewhat from UV.

  3. The appear to be Schwalbes which are long-lasting tires. Nonetheless, all tires have a lifespan, whether used or not, and they become more “brittle” over time. I’d replace that tire.

    Tires are always cheaper than dentists.
