Finally finished my Paramount project. Some old, some new on the build. It rides wonderfully. It was powder coated, as it was refinished by a previous owner and it was flaking. Spent more than I should have, but love it so far.

I’m just finishing a slightly similar retromod of my 1976 Trek TX500 frame that I bought brand new in 1977. Love what can be done with these lovely old frames.
With just a little care, our bikes will still be giving pleasure when every CF bike ever made is in the landfill.

I love the Schwinn Paramount. I have refurbished multiple Schwinn’s, but I’ve never come across a Paramount–let alone for $150! Good for you! I would love a link to some more close up photos. Such a beautiful and clean machine
