  1. looks good, if if holds air and the tire seems “true” without any bouncing or wobbling then you’re done. go and enjoy the ride.

  2. 1. Just FYI, there is no difference between rear and front tires.
    1. If this is actually the bead, then this is definitely not okay, but I think you must just be misidentifying the bead, because if the bead wasn’t on the rim there’s no way you would have been able to do a test ride on it.

    Basic tips for putting on tight tires:

    1. Put enough air in the tube that it holds its shape, but not more than that
    1. Do the bit by the valve last
    1. Before you do the bit by the bead, push the bead everywhere else into the center part of the rim where it’s deepest. This adds some slack to make it easier to get the last bit of the bead over.
