I finally got my first Brompton, a C-line 12 speed 2025. I ordered through Amazon because of the Prime credit card benefits, and it looked pretty fine when I opened it. However, While I was practicing how to fold the bike, this silver part fell down. Is that part commonly fragile? Or is it just me?

Fairly common. In the shop we just reattach the chainstay protector with additional doublesided tape.
Note that the seat post bung may also fall out. This is normal as well.
I believe it’s considered protection for the bike during packaging, and it’s not intended to stay on permanently (though of course no reason why you shouldn’t keep it on if it stays on).
