Stage 11 Toulouse to Toulouse 157 km with 1750m of climbing. Looking like a Sprinters finish this route still has enough climbing to keep everyone alert for breakaway attempts. 5 categorized climbs will be up for grabs towards the polka dot jersey. An intermediate sprint and an additional 50 points at the finish line will see a frantic sprint to the finish.
Thanks for watching and being part of the community! I really appreciate it.

šŸ“ Distance**: 156.8 km
ā›°ļø Elevation Gain**: ~1,700 m
šŸ—ŗļø Profile**: Rolling/punchy stage with four categorized climbs
šŸ Stage Type**: Lumpy – suited to breakaways and puncheurs

Pech David** – 0.8 km @ 12.4% (8 km before the finish)

Tactical Talking Points:**
Final chance for sprinters** before the Pyrenees – but the climbs may drop heavier fast men.
Punchy finale** favors attackers like *Mathieu van der Poel*, *Wout van Aert*, *Magnus Cort*, or Axel Laurance*.
Breakaway potential is high** if teams let it go on the rollers.
GC riders** unlikely to attack, but leaders must stay vigilant near the finish.

šŸŒ”ļø Conditions & Finish Notes:**
Forecast**: 30°C, light NW winds (~15 km/h)
Finale**: Urban finish with technical roundabouts and a sweeping left turn into a short uphill sprint.
Wind direction**: Headwind into the finish – may slow down late attackers.

šŸŽÆ Riders to Watch:**
Sprinters**:

Jonathan Milan* (Green jersey leader)
Tim Merlier* – explosive on lumpy finishes

Puncheurs & Breakaway Specialists**:

Mathieu van der Poel*
Wout van Aert*
Magnus Cort*
Oscar Onley*
Axel Laurance*
Romain GrƩgoire*

GC Leaders (monitor only)**:

Tadej Pogačar*, *Remco Evenepoel*, *Ben Healy*
No big GC shakeup expected, but crosswinds or crashes could affect the standings.

šŸ”® Prediction:**
A reduced sprint from a punchy group or a late solo from a breakaway.
Favourites**: Van der Poel, Van Aert, Cort, Laurance.

🚨 What’s Next?**
Stage 12 heads into the **high Pyrenees** – major GC implications to come.
Expect fireworks from the likes of *Pogačar*, *Evenepoel*, and *Vingegaard*.

All right folks. Hey riders. Hey cycling fans. HeyĀ
Tour to France lovers from all around the world. Colin here over at Insight Cycling World. WeĀ
are live folks. Uh what is it today? Uh rest day yesterday for me. I was going to do a uh a bit ofĀ
a recap. Well, more of a preview. So actually you know what I wanted to have yesterday? I wanted toĀ
have a little chitchat with everyone. Oo, peopleĀ Ā  are saying already that they’re look thinking it’sĀ
going to be a sprint finish today. Now, the reason I asked that question is because it looks like aĀ
sprint finish, but I know there’s a lot of teamsĀ Ā  out there. There’s already riders commenting, oop,Ā
wrong site. Want to be here, guys. Uh, today we’re doing stage 11. It’s July 16th. Stage 11, TourĀ
to France 2025, folks. Um, let’s go through the official classification. You know what I needĀ
to do first? I need to grab that other computer of mine, guys. It’s a pretty neutralized startĀ
today. I think it’s actually quite a slow start. Uh I looked this morning and it says neutralizedĀ
start at 5:15 a.m. my time. They’re predicting the actual race start at 5:45. So kind of thinkingĀ
because it’s the day after Bastile Day that uh they’re going to have like a little ceremony alongĀ
the way. Actually watching the live feed rightĀ Ā  now. Uh Lenny Martinez in the polka dot jersey.Ā
He scored 27 points uh I believe all on stage 10 there uh to take that and then he kind of fellĀ
back. Uh Ben Healey fantastic uh I guess secure he secured the yellow jersey. Uh didn’t win theĀ
stage. Simon Yates went up the road. Stage 10 was pretty crazy. Um saw a lot of cool things develop.Ā
We’re going to go through all those today. So let me just grab that quick laptop over there. SipĀ
of coffee everyone. fuel your coffee needs. Um, okay. So, we got this baby over here. We’re going to do this here. We’re going to putĀ
this uh thing or bobber over here. And I need some power. So, yeah. Yesterday, guys, caught up on my bikeĀ
rides. Caught up on a lot of stuff I’ve been uh putting aside here at home for now. Let meĀ
refresh this and we’ll get into it. Okay, there we go. We are live here. It’s showing up live on myĀ
desktop. Just going to take a look and see. H Now, I’ve kind of messed that up, haven’t I? Okay, ifĀ
I can see all that stuff. You know what I’m goingĀ Ā  to do? I’m going to sit back a little bit today,Ā
guys. sitting back there. I think I can see things better now. Uh, and I have left the uh Oh, yeah.Ā
We’re going with the big look today, folks. Big camera. We’re going to shrink it down right away.Ā
Don’t Don’t worry about that. Um, okay, there it is. Let’s fire this up now. Fire this puppy upĀ
so I can see the chat that’s going on there so I don’t have to show that stuff to you guys onĀ
screen. Uh, yep. Kind of bright still. Turn that down. You know what I did? I turned down one of myĀ
ring lights. Okay, one of my ring lights. I haveĀ Ā  one ring light. I don’t have a full professionalĀ
setup here, guys. Uh, it’s happening though. It’s happening. We’re working our way up there. Uh,Ā
maybe someday Inside Cycling World will be the place for all your uh, you know, cycling fixes.Ā
What we’ll do right now is I’m going to close it down because once I start yammering on here, youĀ
know, my my daily four and a half to five hour non-stop uh, talking Well, put me up there, folks.Ā
Feeling good today, guys. Uh, it really felt like a good rest day for me. It actually kind ofĀ
felt weird that I wasn’t streaming, though. Felt really weird I wasn’t streaming. Okay, so let’s goĀ
through this, guys. I got the chat going now overĀ Ā  here. I can see everyone. Dawn saying, “Stage 11,Ā
day 12, the tour to France. Let’s rock.” Indeed, Don, let’s rock. Uh guys, the mic will be upĀ
here like this just so you guys can all see it. When you see the little magical orangeĀ
light go out, just yammer at me in the chat. Oh, Dawn here. He’s got it already. Dude, yeah,Ā
dude. I probably started the stream. I likeĀ Ā  to start on time. I did see today though. LooksĀ
like we got a countdown here to the start. Guys, I think this is quite the slow start today. IĀ
want to show you this here. And this is why I’mĀ Ā  thinking this. Uh so, where are we? We’re stageĀ
11 right here. This is how I’m figuring all these things out as to when I need to be live. If youĀ
look at the time schedule here, so we just left uh and actually we left about 8 minutesĀ
late, but if you look at the original start, it was at 11:15. Uh sorry, that’s the caravan 1:15Ā
C EST. That’s 5:15 in the morning for me. Look at where the neutralized start is down here. It’s atĀ
1:45, so half an hour later. So, I wasn’t sure how to schedule this last night. Uh, I was sittingĀ
around. I did a lot of research last night, looking ahead at the stages to come. They allĀ
look fantastic. Ben Healey looking just fantasticĀ Ā  in that yellow jersey. What a performance by EF.Ā
You know what? So far, that’s probably the best performance of the tour to France, I would say. IĀ
mean, outside, you know, yep, Tatty’s dominating.Ā Ā  uh great performances by him, three wins by Sudal,Ā
uh which was really good, but Tim Merlier is an incredible sprinter. They’ve got Remco as theirĀ
time trials. You kind of those things are kindĀ Ā  of like well that could happen quite easily, butĀ
for EF to be in the yellow jersey, that is like stunning. So, they’re probably the big winners ofĀ
the Turf France so far, I would say. We’ve got the polka dots. We’ve got a looks like a Uno X riderĀ
at the front here and Jonathan Milan. Yeah. So, here it’s saying it’s a 16 kilometer neutralizedĀ
start, guys. That gives us lots of time. So, if we go to the stage right now, uh you’ll noticeĀ
here on the far left hand side, that’s our actual start. The actual the real start, we’re way beforeĀ
that right now. See Matteo Jorgensson off the back just kind of messing around here. So again,Ā
half hour to probably get to our start point today. I’m sure they’re going to probably speedĀ
it up a little bit because they want to stay onĀ Ā  schedule. They don’t It looks like they startedĀ
eight minutes late to me. They’re probably going to speed up the uh procession a little bit to getĀ
them on that 5:45 start. Uh Dawn here. Oh yeah, guys, by the way, I was saying before I wanted theĀ
stream to start totally on time. I ran upstairs at 5:15 start time, said happy birthday to JoeyĀ
Jojo. Joey Jojo’s birthday, guys. official day, July 16th. Uh well, yeah. So, I guess, yeah,Ā
we are doing a birthday dinner tonight. So, tonight, we just scheduled this lastĀ
night. It’s going to be me, Joey, Jojo,Ā Ā  uh Addison, and Avery, the daughters. We’reĀ
going to meet at a really nice Italian place in Erdri tonight. And then for Saturday night, weĀ
have the uh the dinner downtown in Calgary at the uh Salt Lake. It’s a steakhouse downtown there. umĀ
contemplating. That’s the one I I kind of warned you guys about that I may miss some of the nextĀ
stage, but I’m looking at the next stage and itĀ Ā  looks pretty exciting with the run into Carcasson.Ā
Uh so like I said to Joey Jojo, I said, “You know what? Your friends aren’t going to stay out late.Ā
If we’re meeting them for dinner at 6:30, we’reĀ Ā  going to be done by 9:30. So we might as well justĀ
jump in the car and drive home.” So I’m thinking that’s what we’re going to do. Uh okay. So yeah,Ā
we are going for dinner tonight. Doug Sanders is in the mix here now too, Doug. Good to see you.Ā
Ian Holmes, hey buddy. Nice to hear you. Uh, yeah, super ride from Ben. Incredible ride. LikeĀ
to me, we expect Tatty to win. We expect Matthew Vanderpole to win. Did anyone think that EF wouldĀ
be in the yellow jersey? Not one person out thereĀ Ā  said that. I sure didn’t. Uh, so awesomeĀ
for EF. Uh, great performance by the team, too. They had four riders in that early break.Ā
They knew exactly what they were doing. So, people are slowly filtering them. I imagine it’sĀ
going to be a very slow start to the day. Guys,Ā Ā  I can’t thank you enough for the last video. ThatĀ
last video we put out, we the community here, uh, that video had more views than anyĀ
video ever before. What’s crazy is that was a Monday video. The Monday before is rightĀ
up there. So, there’s something about Mondays, which it’s going to change this Monday becauseĀ
there’s this week the Monday is the rest day. So,Ā Ā  what a crazy tour. 10 days straight. TheĀ
longest they’ve gone, I think, uh, before the first rest day. Now, we only have five days.Ā
We’ve got Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Ā Ā  Sunday of racing. Today is going to be the easiestĀ
day out of them out of them all. Today is the easy day. Today is the chance for uh smaller budgetĀ
teams, teams that haven’t won anything yet. They need to get to the front. Okay, so let’s just goĀ
through this quick, guys. Uh I was looking at the rankings there before. So yeah, this is why I wasĀ
saying it was going to be a late start. I’m like,Ā Ā  do I schedule this for 5:15 or 5:45? Well, I likeĀ
to get up, so this is what we’re doing. Uh Brett Rogers here. Everyone’s here early today. Leona.Ā
Leona here is wishing Joey Jojo a happy birthday already. Looks like everyone’s still sayingĀ
it’s a 70% uh chance of a sprint victory today. Uh yeah, Tony C saying first like come on peopleĀ
hit that button. Yeah, guys, if you can hit theĀ Ā  button, that’d be great. Uh okay, guys. I know IĀ
need to turn this down. That is really bright. Uh I do have my I wonder if I can set this allĀ
up so it’s a dark screen. That’s what I’ve been trying to do on all my stuff, you guys. SetĀ
everything up dark and then have a look. You know, I’ve got my producer upstairs telling me I’m wayĀ
too bright on screen. Whatever, Joey. Deal with it. Happy birthday, by the way. Get over it.Ā
My future’s bright. Got to wear shades. How about that? Okay, guys. Rankings. Let’s do thisĀ
quick. Again, we got a really long start today, so this will let me get up to speed here. Uh, thisĀ
is stage ranking yesterday. Simon Yates, Tim Syman Erison. This guy was incredible yesterday. Uh, IĀ
think this is our best placed Inios Grenadier. No, it’s not. Best place Inos Grenadier rider is uhĀ
Carlos Rodriguez. Kind of caught me sleeping. Ben Healey third. Uh, and I’ve seen things like, youĀ
know, they were talking him up on the radio. Uh, take it easy, Ben. Don’t kill yourself.Ā
We’ve got the jersey. We’re in yellow. So,Ā Ā  it was kind of like, let’s dial it down. And alsoĀ
too, I saw things afterwards. Tatty and both Remco were pretty happy to not have to go into I forgetĀ
what they call it. I’m going to call it the moshĀ Ā  pit. Uh maybe the snake pit from from Metallica,Ā
but afterwards they all got to go in and do their hour and a half long interviews. Same questionsĀ
every day. It must get frustrating for them. So, Remco and uh Tatty both were glad to giveĀ
up the jerseys before the rest day. So, wasn’t their strategy? No. I’m sure if TattyĀ
really I bet you Tatty wanted to keep the jersey, but the his reward is that he doesn’t have to doĀ
the press conference afterwards. Uh, some really good stuff going on here, guys. Take a look atĀ
the overall standings. Ben Healey first place,Ā Ā  Tatty in second, Remco in third. Uh, Vocalon fellĀ
down a little bit here to 226 behind in sixth place. Matteo’s in fifth place. Yonas still inĀ
fourth. Oscar only. What a superstar here for team picnic postNL. Uh seventh place, eighth place,Ā
Floren Lipowitz and the veteran, the super pro Primos Rajlick right here. Uh look at these twoĀ
riders. They’re 7 seconds apart. The old guy, the old lion and uh wow, old. I think he’s 36. Yeah,Ā
he’s so old, guys. Uh and Florian Lipoitz, guys, they’re just lurking in the background. They areĀ
just lurking in the background. Johansson here,Ā Ā  this 10th spot for him is probably so importantĀ
for UnoX Mobility. Uh I think top 10, you’re in. You’re in. That’s a really really good showing forĀ
any team. People remember the top 10. Uh you know, it go it looks really good on a Riders Palarz. UhĀ
but what I did want to show you here is there’s going to be a huge fight going on. This is goingĀ
to be one of the coolest fights to me between 10thĀ Ā  place and I’m willing to go all the way backĀ
to 15th. There’s only a two-minute gap. So, Johansson at 505, Felix Gaul at 538. He’s on fireĀ
this year. Uh Carlos Rodriguez, this is the Is it Carlos or Christian? Carlos. Carlos Rodriguez justĀ
quietly lurking back there uh for Inos Grenaders. Then we have um okay this doesn’t look rightĀ
that’s stage sorry there’s general ranking general ranking okay is in 12th at 544 just 6Ā
seconds back another 12 second backs we’ve got enrich mass who’s been he’s held 13th sinceĀ
stage 10 guys uh still uh over 10 kilometers to the start so everyone drop some comments inĀ
here let me know how your day is going so far uh okay sheila’s here No, Sheila sayingĀ
good morning. Good morning to you, Sheila. Yeah, Tony says, “Anyone time anytime someoneĀ
calls you break, just go with it. Take the win.”Ā Ā  Exactly. Joey’s uh getting happy birthdayĀ
wishes from Sheila here. Uh Dawn saying, “I think Lipoitz is going to make a move today.”Ā
Yeah. Uh I most guys are planning they’re hoping for a breakaway today. They do not want theĀ
sprint. Uh today’s the day they can win. Okay,Ā Ā  guys. tomorrow. We’ll go through that as well.Ā
Tomorrow is the how to come. Uh we’ve got I think we got four climbs in total that are categorizedĀ
with an HC. So I think we see our first cat oneĀ Ā  tomorrow and our first AC tomorrow. LetĀ
me just finish up then I’ll jump there. So Enrich Mass is in 13th. Then we roll downĀ
a little bit. We back up another 30 seconds to this guy here. Been really quiet for TotalĀ
Energies. Jordan Jagat just lurking back there for total energies. Uh why I wonder why it alwaysĀ
defaults to that the stage ranking. This is a huge uh place for them right now. 14th place overall.Ā
Remember guys, there’s a relegation system at the World Tour level uh and and Pro Series andĀ
Continental Series. There’s only 18 licenses for the World Tour teams. are constantly battling overĀ
a three-year period to accumulate points to say, “You’re a World Tour team, you’re a Pro SeriesĀ
team. Teams are being moved up and moved down all the time.” Uh, so UNOX would be a Pro SeriesĀ
team. Uh, I believe Total Energies is a Pro Series team right now. If you’re a World Tour team, ifĀ
you hold a World Tour license, you automatically get an invite to all the World Tour events. theĀ
other teams that are just about right there, they’re looking for wild cards. So, not sure ifĀ
you guys have noticed or not, but Tom Pitcock,Ā Ā  he’s not in the race. Why? He’s on a Pro SeriesĀ
team called Q36.5. Uh they didn’t get an invite. I did see that Q365 is invited to the VA.Ā
So, you will see Tom Pickock there probably uh contending for the victory. And then uh VictorĀ
Skelemo’s here, too. Sorry, Victor. Where did that come from? I was looking at a picture of VictorĀ
Camponard on screen. Martin Skeleos. Okay, I got to check these names on, guys. Matus Skeleos. HeĀ
was 10th before yesterday’s stage and looks like he lost a bit of time yesterday. Uh, so he’sĀ
back to 15th. Then I think it’s a threeminute gap back to 16th place. So, going to be a hugeĀ
battle here for these positions cuz guys want to get into that top 10. Yeah. So, Gem Martan here,Ā
he’s like three minutes back. So, I know things are going to change in the mountains. It’s allĀ
going to go off here soon, folks. But these guysĀ Ā  are all fighting to try to take uh Johansson’sĀ
position in 10th place there. Uh Rodri, I think, is going to help Lipoitz move up. I think RodriĀ
knows that’s kind of his job now. I’ve seen enough of people saying he needs to retire now. HeĀ
needs to just retire instantly. Why? He’s still in ninth place at the Tour to France. Uh people areĀ
talking about his salary. That’s his job. That’s what he does. You know, that’s what they decidedĀ
to pay him and that’s his contract. Uh okay, guys. Uh oh, Tony here. Did you ever do theĀ
poll question on salary caps? If so,Ā Ā  do you remember the results? Tony,Ā
I didn’t. Uh, let’s do that now. So, we do have my sprint one here. We can doĀ
that, guys. Still in the neutralize start. So, looks like most people are saying it’sĀ
going to be a sprint finish. We’re just going to end that poll there. And I canĀ
zip down here. Um, start a poll. Should Oh, small keyboard, guys. SmallĀ
keyboard. Should there be a salary cap? So, it’s just going to be a yes, no, and boom,Ā
we’re off to the races. And that’s a good poll, Tony. Thank you for suggesting that. So, weĀ
I you know I stopped that first poll early,Ā Ā  but I bet you that’s going to be generallyĀ
what they would say 7030 sprint breakaway. Uh Ian here saying tomorrow maybe who in the yellowĀ
jersey CX. Uh Ian, let me know what you who you mean there. Back in the day, a bunch of differentĀ
teams used to race the US Pro Championship Series in June to try and get the wild card for theĀ
tour. Yeah. So these teams right now basicallyĀ Ā  uh like UNOX is trying to get up there andĀ
so how they do it it’s over a three-year time span. What’s very important about that is thatĀ
the end this year is the end of that three-year time span where they do the relegations,Ā
the promotions and the relegation system.Ā Ā  So the top two teams go up. So, if the Pro SeriesĀ
teams are outscoring the UCI World Tour teams Oh, wow. Joey Jojo is giving me a reverseĀ
birthday gift here. Thank you very much,Ā Ā  Joey. Happy Thanks for the birthday wishes,Ā
everyone. Uh, I guess uh I’ll put that towards the uh the dinner tonight. Thank you, Joey. JojoĀ
in the mix. Happy birthday. Have a great day. Mike saying, “I’m really missing the algorithmsĀ
with your content. Half the ads I get are FrenchĀ Ā  now.” I had that happen a while ago, too, Mike.Ā
I’m like, “Why am I getting so many French ads? I just think they see Tur to France.” And DougĀ
thinks we are back for a quiet day. I think there’s going to be attacks early. We do have fourĀ
categorized clims. Let’s take a look at the route, guys, quickly here. So, we are on stage 11 ofĀ
the tour of France, guys. Can’t believe we’re here already. Uh, and as much as I liked my restĀ
day yesterday, just I didn’t feel under a lot of pressure. I could sleep in a tiny bit. Uh, I kindĀ
of missed hanging out here, too. Five categorized climbs, guys. Sprint points quite a bit laterĀ
on. Um I think with so much determination for the breakaway to succeed every day now and teamsĀ
needing to get points uh again we are at the end of the relegation promotion year. It ends thisĀ
year. Two teams will be bumped up. Two teams are going down. Uh if the points work out right. SoĀ
who I think is in Well, I think it’s Lotto. I’d have to take a look at it, guys. I I stared at itĀ
last night for a long time. Uh so you’re going to get UCI points based on the performance of yourĀ
team. Certain teams miss certain races. Uh they don’t get involved in those points. So it’sĀ
all team scoring uh based on your riders. I think they use the top 20 riders in each team.Ā
That determines where you are. If you don’t if you’re not one of the World Tour licenses, you’reĀ
not guaranteed an entry to the Tur of France, to the VA, to the uh the Jirro and all the one-dayĀ
events. uh or the shorter stage races. So, you may have a really strong team and you’re sitting onĀ
the outside uh because you’re not a world tour team and you didn’t get a wild card entry. Okay,Ā
turn this up again here. Oh, that is bright, isn’t it? So, that’s our stage today, guys. Uh why don’tĀ
we take a little look at Okay, we can do here. Let’s go to I think we’re going to go to theĀ
official briefing today. So, you can see howĀ Ā  they designed the stage today. Let’s justĀ
let that run. I can have a sip of coffee here and we’ll do this. More French for you, Mike. More French. EnjoyĀ
every commercial being in French now. So yeah, we’re into loose today, guys. We’re doing likeĀ
a big loop out and back. We don’t actually goĀ Ā  back to the start point. Obviously, thatĀ
would be too crowded. Uh, one early climb, sprint point about three quarters through,Ā
and then four climbs at the end. Yeah, weird. I’ve got French subtitles here and EnglishĀ
there. Uh, can I fix that for you guys? Yep, there we go. There’s your English. I’m goingĀ
to go with that just so I can understand it.Ā Ā  So guys, we are at basically the outskirtsĀ
of the Pyrenees here. We’re not very far away. We’re totally getting set up for tomorrow.Ā
Little conversation still in a neutralized start, guys. So this does end in the center of Tulus.Ā
Yeah, right here they’re saying it could suit someone like Vanderpole, Vanart, Alfalipe,Ā
or maybe even Pogy. All depends how it goes. Yeah, this could be all out sprint. That’s I thinkĀ
that’s Caleb Ewan from the past. Yes, it is. YouĀ Ā  can tell by his sprint style. Uh that’s one he IĀ
think he was on lotto. Uh he’s now retired. Caleb Euan from Australia. Uh I got my hands crossedĀ
now here. So this is going to be hard to do. Can look at that there. The teams. Let’sĀ
take a look at the stage right now. Again, we’re nowhere near the start here. Uh I didĀ
want to show you a couple things here downĀ Ā  at the bottom. Here’s our jerseys. So, weĀ
got Ben Healey in the yellow. Ben Healey in the best young riders jersey. Jonathan MilanĀ
and Lenny Martinez here for Barin Victorious. Let’s go through these pictures. Actually,Ā
we got to back up quite a way. Here we go. Today is one of the stages I have in mind.Ā
I I doubt he thinks he’s going to sprintĀ Ā  against Jonathan Milan. I think this isĀ
going to be more of a breakaway today and it was earlier today Magnus Court here. TheĀ
goal for me today is being the breakaway today. So guys are already thinking about it. YouĀ
know with uh with the hoticon being tomorrow, a lot of these breakaway guys don’t stand aĀ
chance. Stage 12, uh, 13, yeah, stage 13 is the, uh, mountain time trial. Stage 14 is anotherĀ
brutal day in the mountains. Stage 15, uh, two big climbs and then we descendedĀ
to Carcasson. While I’ve got you here, we’re going to do that here, folks. We’re justĀ
going to go back to the route quickly. So,Ā Ā  we’ve seen Tuloose. Let’s take a look atĀ
tomorrow. Keep an eye over here. Still says we’re over 5 kilometers to theĀ
start. This is the hoticcom tomorrow. Uh, and you can see it here. Category 4 startedĀ
us out. Uh, I I bet you we almost depart from the the Tuloose area. I’ll have to take a look atĀ
the map and see what the transition’s like. Uh, okay. So, yeah, Doug’s saying, “Happy birthday,Ā
Joey. We are back for quite okay.” Vou Don, that’s all the French I know. Yeah. Yeah. And andĀ
Tony, you’re right here. Any sprinter who is not looking forward to tomorrow has got to try to doĀ
something today. And the same applies to all theĀ Ā  other teams. You know, there’s a lot of teamsĀ
here that really don’t have a big takeaway from the tour. EF’s tour is already complete. JustĀ
the stage win that Ben Healey got, that was enough. And then to get the yellow jersey, whatĀ
was it four days later? Something like that. Uh okay. So yeah, this is tomorrow. This HCĀ
finish. So we see our first cat one of the tour 11.8 km at 7.3%. Uh C is borders and theĀ
HC climate autocom. I was on climbinder all last night tracking out where these roads mapĀ
together. It’s so cool when you look at it in detail on that mapping package. Uh these roadsĀ
are everywhere. You take one left or you’re off to this HC. You take this right. Oh, you’reĀ
going into a C category one over there. KeepĀ Ā  going straight ahead. Oh, it’s a cat three. It’sĀ
a simple cat 3. That’s it’s so easy for them to piece all these things together. So, that willĀ
be Thursday. Do not miss that stage, guys. And uh I did want to point something out here,Ā
too. I don’t know if you guys saw in the chat, Colin Coat is in the mix. Good morning. Uh we isĀ
all the French I know. One James. Hey, James. Uh James Delara here from Corsa. He was thinkingĀ
he only got the French ads cuz he’s in France,Ā Ā  but I guess that’s not the case. James, uh, hadĀ
lots of time yesterday. I got a ride in on Ruby. I rode in Corsica yesterday. Now, where did I rideĀ
in Corsica? No idea. Super easy ride. I’m going to tell you right now, James. Okay, that’s not the uhĀ
Well, what’s the best Okay, I’m going to tell you here. This might be easier for me to do it here.Ā
I can look at my calendar here. We’re going toĀ Ā  look at me home. Uh maybe it’s a challenge route.Ā
I know that. Here I like to get distracted. It’s called the coastal corsica challenge over on RuvieĀ
and I rode from Paul Mara to Partanel. Quick 25 kilometers downhill virtually all the way. CoupleĀ
little kicks. I rode it actually on a TT bike uh because the kicks weren’t big enoughĀ
to hurt me. So, stage 12 Thursday will be mindblowing. And if you guys remember aĀ
little while ago a little there was a chat uh it said bike terra. That’s the newest, theĀ
latest and the greatest out of all the cycling apps. I’m just keeping an eye here to see whenĀ
we’re going to launch here, guys. No launch yet. Yeah, no launch yet. Uh, so Bike TerraĀ
dropped a comment here. Hey Colin, doing great job. Really appreciate the comments.Ā
Uh, I’ve done race commentary for them over on their pro their platform. I’ve asked questions inĀ
my videos and the developers have came on into my YouTube channel and answered all of the questionsĀ
like point by point. I’m like, “Wow, they actuallyĀ Ā  listen.” Uh, the community helps you develop yourĀ
programs, your platforms. So, you should listen to your community. They reached out to me a coupleĀ
days ago and said it was supposed to be today, guys. I’ll probably try to show it to you. I don’tĀ
know if I should. Uh, it’s been cancelled andĀ Ā  rescheduled to tomorrow. They are going to be ableĀ
to broadcast the location of the pros. Probably not everyone, but the majority of the groups. So,Ā
like I know when I saw the little teaser for it, it had Jonathan Milan, Tatty, Yonas, uh, and aĀ
bunch of other riders, all the jerseys. And so then that way I can show you where they areĀ
through the application of where they are in the real world because sometimes it’s kind ofĀ
visualize it here just with the thing goingĀ Ā  across the board and camera shots from directorsĀ
that we don’t know. I’ll be able to show you where they are because I have full control over it. Wow,Ā
I’m getting another present here. And I’m getting a birthday cake from uh Disbury Dental Center. UhĀ
Bingham Germay just getting a wheel change right now uh in the neutralized start. So that mightĀ
slow things down a bit. I think today is very important for Bingham. Um because Jonathan MilanĀ
has quite the lead now. I think Bingham needs to try to win more points in at the intermediateĀ
sprints. Uh I don’t think he has the top end speed to beat Jonathan Milan this year. this year. I’mĀ
just saying. So, uh, back to Bike Terra. I’ll be able to show you. Do my normal thing. Pull up BikeĀ
Terra, guys. While I’m here, I’m going to do it now because the race isn’t on. Uh, let’s just makeĀ
sure the race isn’t on. You can see it’s not on.Ā Ā  Nothing’s happened yet. What I’m going to do isĀ
I’m going to pull this up. Uh, we’re going to pull this guy up. We’re going to close this guy down.Ā
This is Bike Terra. Uh, so this is a browserbased application. And what I’m going to do is I needĀ
to get into it. browserbased application. So you don’t Welcome back, Colin. See, I’ve actuallyĀ
ridden this, guys. Uh I’m surprised I’ve only ridden 35.7 kilometers on here. Is that true?Ā
Yeah, I guess it is true. Uh so you can see here they’ve got the M murder de Britannia route. AndĀ
right here, you can see it turf France live still in a neutralized star guy. Cancel today. It wasĀ
supposed to go off. So, what this was going to do, realworld riders, people like me, peopleĀ
like you at home, could do the exact sameĀ Ā  stage at the exact same time as the pros. See howĀ
quickly we get massacred. So, what you would see is yourself on screen and all the other riders.Ā
It would probably show you the locations of the specific riders. Uh, using spectate mode, I canĀ
jump ahead and catch up with different groups. It’s kind of like being the director of the tourĀ
to France. It’s like when there’s a breakaway andĀ Ā  they decide to show you uh four riders at theĀ
back and you want to see the breakaway. Uh in this case, I’m in control of the camera. So, usingĀ
just this mouse uh gives me full ability to circle around up, down, left, right, zoom in, zoom out.Ā
Uh they’ve totally nailed the camera control for spectating races. So, events tomorrow, guys.Ā
I want to show you this right here. Stage 12, uh, the hoticcom is tomorrow. So, they bumped theĀ
stage one, sorry, stage 11. It’s going to stage 12 tomorrow. I hope the guys are okay with me showingĀ
all this stuff. Uh, guys, take a look at it. Check it out. If you’re interested in riding your bikeĀ
inside, this is one of the best ways to do it right here. Let’s get back to it. Turn that off.Ā
So, that’ll be going I’m So, I’m going to use that tomorrow, too. I’m going to put that in the videoĀ
and say, “Guys, when they’re going up switchbacks, uh when there’s breaks that you can’t seeĀ
where the break is, I can pull that up andĀ Ā  bounce from group to group.” How much detailĀ
I’m going to get, I don’t know yet. As you saw, I did say trial run if you had an eagle eye there.Ā
It’s the first attempt for them to do this. How they’ve accessed the data, I don’t know. Uh soĀ
guys for your big uh training platforms, Zift is kind of the granddaddy of them all. Ruby, uhĀ
that’s the video option. Training Peaks virtual, another kind of closedw world, graphics-based.Ā
My whoosh closed world, graphics-based, and you keep you keep hear me saying closed world.Ā
So they’re all closed world. Uh you get on the courses and that’s where you’re going to stay.Ā
uh Zift Training Peaks virtual and my whoosh. You can turn and you can ride whatever you want inĀ
those closed worlds. You could do a loop 50 times over if you want. You could do a ride. You couldĀ
ride 24 hours straight if you want. Uh Berra gives you the option to ride any road in the world. AsĀ
long as you have the GPX file, you can ride it. You create a ride and it’s there. So, they’ve goneĀ
with the uh kind of the the simplistic art style, which I think for showing the uh the tour racesĀ
will be very helpful. The other ones would not help me at all. Uh I could show you little videoĀ
clips, but I can’t really show you the pro riders. By terror is the only one that’s going to allowĀ
me to do that. So, they’ve got something. Uh oh, Ultima Dental’s now flying in here. Uh yeah. So,Ā
um maybe that’s the other manager from the other dental clinic. Battle of the dental clinics.Ā
Yeah. So, I think there’s three dental clinics uh all under the one doctor. Uh Joey runs the bestĀ
one. Disby Dental Center. Just checking out here guys. Still haven’t gotten through the neutralizedĀ
start. They did say 545 553. We should be through it right away cuz we did start 8 minutesĀ
late. Let’s get back to the chat here, guys. So hopefully understand that all those platformsĀ
have different price structures. Uh Colin Coats is here. He does use uh Zift a lot. Uh I think IĀ
think uh Zift for me is probably like $24 a month, but to me as a gym membership thing, I’m likeĀ
that’s great. Uh Ruby is about the same price. Ruby just had a price increase. Training PeaksĀ
virtual I think was around $20 a month thinking all US slash yeah maybe that’s US probably 20 aĀ
month US 25 Canadian same for Ruby training peaks is in there somewhere my whoosh is absolutelyĀ
free uh again closed world but you can turn and go wherever you want lots of hill climbing ifĀ
you want it uh but it’s graphics too and well I don’t think it’s a negative but it’s developedĀ
by UAE oil money, all that kind of stuff. Enough said. I love it. Uh, Bike Terra, guys. That’sĀ
the new kid on the block with the ability to ride anywhere you want. So, let’s say you’reĀ
doing a charity ride. Uh, you’re not a great cyclist. You’re just starting out. There’s lotsĀ
of people like that. Okay, we must be getting close to the start now. So, like, if you wereĀ
doing a charity ride, something like that. Okay,Ā Ā  they’re already starting. They’re started, guys.Ā
They’re off right now. They are are they are off. Uh in our leading group right now, MororrowĀ
Schmidt, uh Yonas Abraham, and Danielle Davided Ballerini for XDSana. Guys, it’s going to be aĀ
smash fest right from the beginning. Today, today we got seven riders chasing uh Burke Mo, Vout VanĀ
Art. He said this was probably his kind of stage. Uh Yasper Stoven, Connor Swift. Here’s a nameĀ
I’m not familiar with. Nicholas Markle from Team Picnic. This was the D. This was the DS team. TheĀ
DS team. Wow, that’s hard to say. DSM team last year. Team DSM. How about I say it that way? UhĀ
Bento from Stage One and Arnold Demar from Arca. It’s going to be hot today, folks. It is goingĀ
to be hot. Uh we are getting to actually some brutal weather conditions coming up. Uh, I thinkĀ
the weather forecast for this part of the world heading down Celtic, guys, do I think we doĀ
the von 2 on Friday. Is the von is that this week? Okay guys, I need to have a look atĀ
this for a second here. Uh, let’s come back here. We’re going to go to the routes again justĀ
quickly here. We know we’re doing that hotic. Uh, this is our mountain time trial here. AllĀ
out effort. Destroy yourself up to parags. uh surfing around yesterday. You can cut theĀ
backside. Oh, cool. They’re showing uh one ofĀ Ā  the remaining concords here in Tulus. Yeah, man.Ā
That thing was quite the uh piece of technology during his days. Pow to Lucon Superbaners.Ā
Okay, so Vonu must be next week. Uh this will be Friday after Sorry guys, this is Saturday,Ā
Thursday. This is the mountain time trial. Uh, okay. Today’s Wednesday. Is todayĀ
Wednesday? Yeah. I’ve lost track. Okay. Thursday is the mountain time trial. How How canĀ
I keep screwing that up? Come on, Colin. Yeah, it says here it says Friday. Come on, dude. Uh, soĀ
if that’s that hotcomic is Thursday. Mountain time trial Friday. Solo efforts. You got no one to hideĀ
behind. Saturday is Super Baners. Uh then Sunday, which I thought was going to be more ofĀ
a chill route. Take a look at the profile here. Cat 3 sprint early will keep the paceĀ
super high. Then we start doing the climbs. Cat 3. Cat 3. These two cat 3s are quiteĀ
funny to me. Uh this cat 3 2 kilometers long at 7%. This cat 3 six kilometers long atĀ
5.5. This will be way harder than the first one. That’s a Cat 4 to me. Uh then we’veĀ
got a Cat 2 right before the finish. Uh I guess it is still 40 50 kilometers out.Ā
Uh but if you can get over the top first,Ā Ā  it’s downhill all the way flat run into the finishĀ
into Carcasson. The white walls of Carcasson. Let’s get back to the live, guys.Ā
Let’s get back to the live in theĀ Ā  front. Still got our three out front.Ā
Guys are going to be pushing super hard up here trying to get into the break. I’mĀ
going to give you a look at the map here,Ā Ā  too. Here is our map. You can see we’reĀ
going on this clockwise route out into the countryside. Cat 4 coming early. Sprint pointĀ
coming 2/3, maybe even 3/4 into the stage. So, the sprinters are just going to be hanging onĀ
watching the breakaways get out of there. I’mĀ Ā  going to make sure I get fully caught up here. So,Ā
I’m as live as I can get. Uh, let’s get up there. Yeah, they’re attacking immediately from theĀ
flag drop. Those three those three ridersĀ Ā  went off the front immediately. Remember,Ā
Uno X has got a rider there. Uh they have a rider in the top 10 tour this year. See,Ā
we’re heading out this nice direction here. Clockwise all the way around back to Tuloose.Ā
And just to give you an idea of where we are, the Pyrenees are right here. And PandoraĀ
wedged right in the Pyrenees. Uh the majority of tomorrow is Po Po. So we probably take aĀ
couple hour bus ride across here to Po and then head out probably in the south westerlyĀ
direction to get right up into the guts of the Pyrenees here. Let’s get back to the raceĀ
here. See what the commentary is saying here. So there’s still three riders up front.Ā
Van Art wants to get something going today.Ā Ā  Uh he’s had some flashes. He would finish secondĀ
in one stage. Uh but he’s been kind of really hit and miss so far this tour. Back to my chat here.Ā
Um okay, we got to go back a bit. Dawn. Yeah, Foot Loose Kevin Bacon. I love it. I don’t thinkĀ
I’ve ever watched that full movie. Yeah, Dawn’s into that right now. Yeah, Dbury Danel. Uh, happyĀ
birthday, Joey Jojo. Disby Dental Center’s got a piece of cake for uh, the office will be openingĀ
uh, shortly there. I think I think they open at 7 a.m. Someone might be in the office already. EvanĀ
Barren here says, “Cool.” Yeah, Ian saying we be smoked by the pros on this app. I did see aboutĀ
12 riders signed up for it this morning. Uh so it’s really cool guys because uh Matt, one of theĀ
developers at Bike Terra, I think it’s two guys, uh he reached out to me through my Inside CyclingĀ
World Discord channel and said, “Hey, Colin,Ā Ā  we’re doing this.” Didn’t ask me to do anything.Ā
Uh didn’t say, “Hey man, can you do this for us?” Nothing. Just said, “Hey, dude. This is what we’reĀ
doing if you’re interested.” Yeah, I’m interested,Ā Ā  man. And because they’re the dudes that interactedĀ
with me, I want to show it off for them. So, I’m going to show it off for them when I getĀ
it. So, I jumped on this morning and saw it.Ā Ā  I think it had just been cancelled because thereĀ
was people still signed up waiting for it. Uh, so instead of getting this route, and it was theĀ
full route, too, guys. It’s the full route. The map on Bike Terra looks just like the map we’reĀ
seeing here today on Tuloose. Same app. It’s the same GPX file. Um, so they said, “OkayĀ
guys, sorry about that, but guess what? As a reward for you guys for being here with us,Ā
tomorrow you get to do the hotcom. Enjoy.” Uh, over a thousand meters of elevation game inĀ
that climb alone at the very end. It’s an HC at the finish. There should be massive pointsĀ
uh for the polka dot jersey in that one. Oo, look at this here. Let’s have a little look atĀ
this over on X here. This is just showing the breakaway forming here early today, guys. Uh haveĀ
are getting word here that uh Milan’s going for it. Actually, I got to turn something else on overĀ
here, guys. I’ve been up for so long. Uh you think I would have this set up by now. So, let me getĀ
over here. Tour tracker. Okay, we’re good. Live. We’re doing that. Just to get some more details.Ā
So, should be a fairly fast stage today, I think, between the the breakaways. Oo, seeing someĀ
penalties uh from yesterday. They’re showing fines. Uh kind of weird the way they say it.Ā
Feeding on foot outside the designated zone. Matteo Tasado. Oh, the sports director uhĀ
was fined a thousand Swiss Franks. Wow. Uh feed. Okay, so guys, they’re really hitting themĀ
hard. Feeding zone infractions. The team team assistants were penalized for violating by feedingĀ
riders outside of the designated areas. Oh wow, dude. Okay, I know this is not of super importanceĀ
to you, but one of the team directors or team assistants for Alpas and Decoynic is EricĀ
Vanderarden. Dude, the 80s. Eric Vanderarden, I think he’s Belgian. Uh, he was the man. He wasĀ
the man in the early 80s going up battling against Bernardino. No. Uh, he was probably more of aĀ
classics guy, a strong man. Uh, quite the sprint on him, too. But yeah, Eric Vanderarden is hereĀ
as a team assistant. And he was a bad boy. He got a penalty. Uh, Mobile Star two Mobilear ridersĀ
got a two uh, sorry, assistance. So, there are designated feed areas. Uh, I don’t think they showĀ
on the map at all, but there’s certain areas where you’re allowed to feed, where they’re allowed toĀ
pass you food. You can’t go back to your car andĀ Ā  get a burger. If you get that burger, they don’tĀ
eat burgers. If you get that burger, though, it’s off the side of the road from a team assistant, aĀ
designated team assistant. In the lead right now,Ā Ā  we still got our three. They’re letting them go.Ā
Uh 27 second back to Robert Stannard here. Let’s take a look at Robert Stannard. Bahrain victoriousĀ
Australian. And then we got a 32 second back gap back to the Pelaton guys. Things to talk aboutĀ
Friday. Friday. What am I talking about? Uh Monday stage 10. What I like seeing there. Simon Yates.Ā
He looks good. He looks really good. He’s still a worldclass climber. Uh he proved that at the JRO.Ā
He’s on it right now. Uh other interesting things, Seep Cous, we finally saw his presence. MatteoĀ
Jorgensson has quite the attack on him. So Vizma looked really strong at the front. We know theĀ
breakaway was up down the up the road. Ben HealeyĀ Ā  on the way to securing the yellow jersey. Uh butĀ
when Matteo attacked, he split the entire group of elite, the elite of the elite. He bust them allĀ
apart. He actually threw Sepoose out the back. His attack was so hard and Tatty reacted to himĀ
like it was fighting for the yellow jersey. Tatty refused to let him get away. Um him being MatteoĀ
Jorgensson. Uh really strong a strong attack by Matteo. I’m thinking Matteo, Simon, and Se. Se didĀ
get dropped out of that group, but so did a lot of other riders. Kevin Vogalong got dropped out ofĀ
the group. Maybe that was Seb’s plan that day. I’m not going with this one. I’m saving my legsĀ
for later. Uh but between Se, Matteo Jorgensson, Simon Yates, that’s a lot of firepower to startĀ
working on Tatty. Uh I think Tatty’s team is very strong. The UAE riders, Tim Wellins, Solair,Ā
Neil Polllet, but Solair’s the only real one that can hang in the high mountains with him. and heĀ
didn’t hang in the rolling hills of stage 10. So, I’m a little bit concerned that he doesn’t haveĀ
the firepower he needs. I mean, the thing about itĀ Ā  is Tatty can hang by himself, but I think he’sĀ
going to be isolated early early on at these uh at this tour. So, yeah, they’re showing hereĀ
Robert Standard’s pursuit. We’ve already seen that at kilometer 12 standard trails by 25 secondsĀ
and the Pelaton by 1 minute. So, we’ve already seen this here. I’m just going to go flash backĀ
through some pictures for you guys uh near liveĀ Ā  here. Maybe I’ll do this a different way. UhĀ
let me let me catch up the chat, guys. Uh early parts of the stage so far. So, yeah, they wereĀ
really cracking down on feeding zone yesterday. Uh yeah, so it was mostly the team assistantsĀ
and sport directors yesterday. So, the legend Eric Vanderordan got it. uh DS’s for two teamsĀ
got 200 Swiss Frank F sign f find f find f find f find f find f find f find f find f find fĀ
find fines uh and then this one here feeding on foot I wonder if that means he’s runningĀ
along and just passing his rider some food uh thousand Swiss Franks this is what happenedĀ
to Tatty a couple years ago when he basicallyĀ Ā  bonked he ran out of food on the stage uh becauseĀ
there’s specific fooding feeding zones no one wants to carry extra weight in their pockets So,Ā
you get your food, you eat. It’s 28° C out there,Ā Ā  guys. Uh, and Ian, I’m going to go back toĀ
you again. Just catching up now. We would be smoked by the pros on this app. Yeah, butĀ
there would be normal people riding there,Ā Ā  too. Uh, happy birthday to Joey there. Battle ofĀ
Dental Services. Costa Rica mountain biking. Hey, dude. Good to see you. Uh, reached out toĀ
me on I think it was believe Instagram. Yeah, dental companies like the cyclists. IanĀ
says he’s going to look at Bike Terra. Yeah, Ian. Uh, beauty of Bike Terra is uh it’s simple,Ā
it’s browser based, you don’t have to put a big install. Just for an example, my whoosh is freeĀ
as well. Uh, it’s got really really good graphics. By Terra has gone the very opposite way. They’veĀ
gone for like almost keep it as simple as possible look, but if you have a smart trainer and aĀ
bike, it will feel exactly the same as my whoosh. the simulation, the gradients are the same. UhĀ
so you’re not going to be saying, “Oh, wow. It doesn’t look as good, so it doesn’t feel as goodĀ
to me.” It it feels the same to your legs and yourĀ Ā  lungs. Uh it’s browser based, so you don’t youĀ
don’t have to install anything on your PC. My whoosh is over it’s over 30 gigs uh install, IĀ
believe. So depending what device you’re using, maybe you’re concerned about that. Uh my whooshĀ
right now I can’t even get it to run to be honest. Uh and that’s my fault, but they want me to go itĀ
open a DOS shell or some DOSs command prompt and start doing some stuff and I’m like I I don’t wantĀ
to do that. I shouldn’t have to do that. By Terra does that all for me. Uh Berra is free to rideĀ
a selection of routes. So, they pick six routes a day and say, “These are your six freebies.” IfĀ
you want access to the entire world and upload as many routes as you want. I think for me in Canada,Ā
it’s $5.99 a month. So, it’s probably $4.99 in the States. Let’s keep on this year, guys. Let’sĀ
see how this breakaway gets established. Uh, looks like it’s came back together. We’ve only gotĀ
our three front now. So, there was a middle group,Ā Ā  the vout group, uh, quickly got absorbed backĀ
in by the Pelaton there. So, we got our three riders. These are the very three riders thatĀ
took off at the very beginning of today. Uh,Ā Ā  guys, 200 people watching. I wasn’t sure howĀ
today would go with it being a Wednesday after a rest day. So glad everyone here. Let’sĀ
hit the like button if you can, guys,Ā Ā  so other people can see my videos. Um, okay. So,Ā
Ian’s going to look at bike terra. Good stuff. Don saying he used to record tour stagesĀ
on VHS and ride along on a trainer. ThenĀ Ā  it was DVD and DV DVR. Yeah, Don, I used to doĀ
the same thing way back in the day. Actually, you know what’s funny? Yesterday I was watchingĀ
2006 Tour to France, the Floyd Landis stage. Well, that was the year he won the tour and thenĀ
it got stripped away from him. But the stage,Ā Ā  I think it’s stage I think it was stage 17 whereĀ
he destroyed the entire Pelaton by himself. Uh like he beat the tour to France by himself.Ā
everyone. It was so ridiculous looking back on it now watching it’s like really how did weĀ
all fall for this? How did we all fall for this?Ā Ā  But we did. Uh yeah, they caught up with themĀ
though. Um yes, some good comments coming here, guys. Thank you very much. Uh and I’m fallingĀ
behind. Uh Colin saying, “My gym was 40 bucks a month, so I saved money when I moved to Zift.Ā
Still enjoys his outdoor rides, but Zift is aĀ Ā  game changer for me.” Yeah, Colin is very activeĀ
on Swift and he’s a very high-end racer. Uh Colin, I don’t know your racing score right now, but IĀ
know it’s quite high. Don’s cheering on Abrahamson here. Uh was he in the break? Yeah, he is in theĀ
break. Guys, just have a quick look here. I want to see the rankings again quick. Uh yeah, stopĀ
doing that to me. I want the GC, guys. Give me the GC. Okay, it’s Johansson for Uno X that’s in theĀ
front. Uh but yeah, Uno X, they need points. They want to get World Tour. They want to be the firstĀ
Norwegian team to hit World Tour license. So, one team is going to lose its official designatedĀ
World Tour license. It gets taken away. Uh Israel Primary Tech, uh they’re probably going to getĀ
theirs back, though. They’re doing really well.Ā Ā  Uh another team will get a World Tour license. So,Ā
it’s promotion and relegation. and we’re at the end of that cycle this year. So, I think you’reĀ
going to see some awesome battles here in theĀ Ā  tour. Uh there’s a ton of races after this, guys.Ā
I’m going to cover as many as I can next month. Me and Joey Jojo were talking about them all lastĀ
night. Uh let me catch up here. Abramson Zifties. Um Ian saying the Zift app is gettingĀ
better. Mall riding scenarios. Okay, I’m not sure what I’m seeingĀ
there. Uh what am I reading? Okay, Ian, maybe you can explain whatĀ
you mean there. Riding scenarios. Uh,Ā Ā  call quotes. I don’t use the app much, butĀ
it’s much better on my computer than when it started. Oh, yeah. They keep expanding it.Ā
And, you know, I ride around. I’m like, “Hey,Ā Ā  where does that road go?” You can tell it’s anĀ
expansion road. Just look at parts of the map that are just kind of like blank. Like, I call itĀ
the fog of cycling. Uh, you don’t know what’s out there. That’s future expansions. Uh, people alwaysĀ
say, “Oh, Zift needs more roads. need more roads. They have the most users. Uh it’s popular. Zift toĀ
me, I’ve said to other friends, Zift to me is like the Apple app of whatever it is you’re using.Ā
The other apps are more like an Android app, you know? They they do the same thing. They’reĀ
just maybe not as slick. Zift does it all really slick for you. Uh I think that’s what a lotĀ
of people like about it. Huge community, too. Um, Ortiggeras Yahoo is back. How are you doing,Ā
Colin? Just visited your live before going to work. Uh, dude, I’m doing good. Good to seeĀ
you. Thanks for coming back. 200 lemon watching,Ā Ā  guys. Love it. Dawn, banana and crepe this morningĀ
for breakfast. Yeah, Dawn. I wolf down a banana. Uh, peanut butter on bread, two cups of coffee.Ā
Hoping there’s a third up there left for me. Still rolling through here, guys. I I don’t thinkĀ
my commercials are French, but So, there is a chasing group now. Nelson Olivea and this guy.Ā
Oh, he was in the breakaway that one day. Thomas Gashinard for Totile Energies. Guys, lots of theseĀ
small teams need to get to the front. Jacco Alula, Unoex, Astana. Astana hasn’t done anythingĀ
this tour yet. Uh, now’s time. This rider here, he’s 170th. probably the last place rider onĀ
the road right now. Uh, speaking of which, let’s do that next ranking. Let’s see how manyĀ
people are left in the tour right now. Uh, Virture still back there. 172nd. Uh, sent men’sĀ
Martinsike. There he is. David Val Ballerina right there. Where did Fedorov go? FedorovĀ
has moved up. He was last a few days ago. Stage uh, category 4 climb comingĀ
up. I don’t think there’ll be muchĀ Ā  battle for this. Lenny Martinez hasĀ
enough points to hold on to it today. Uh, okay. Got a guy here, uh, XTN2. Hi guys. CanĀ
someone tell me when the race race is already on, dude? The race is on. Jump into the chat. TellĀ
us who you’re cheering for and where are youĀ Ā  from? Steven Cycles. Good to see you, Stephen.Ā
Uh, bike terrace saying, “Uh, totally awesome idea. Hope it runs smoothly.” Yeah, maybe they hadĀ
a little bit of a glitch this morning. They’ve gotĀ Ā  to pull the data from the tour to France somehowĀ
uh from the transponders somehow the location of I was told guys and remember I’ve been just toldĀ
a little bit about it and I hate to kind of talk for other people. So, uh I was told it won’t beĀ
every individual rider. Maybe that’s changed, maybe it’s the same, but it’s going to beĀ
groups for sure. So when there’s switchbacks, I can pop from group to group on the switchbacks.Ā
This is basically what I’ve done with my channel for two and a half years. Uh with Bike Terra beingĀ
like the latest app to come along. It has a lot of really good pluses about it. Uh so like thisĀ
route today, people would say, well, how would how do I get the GPX file call? I’m not a techie.Ā
Neither am I. Steven Cycles who just commented he did a ride in Scotland after a bike tour thatĀ
he was uh part of that he was a a leader of of uh VIPs folks uh real VIPs. Uh he sent me a GPXĀ
file through Discord. So he just attached a file. I downloaded to my PC. Uh I went into Berra andĀ
as a non-paying user I think you can upload one one at a time. You can have one active. Uh IĀ
just click the button. I’m like okay how do I do this? I don’t know. I’m not a techie. I’m goodĀ
at software, but I’m not a techie. And I clicked the button, uploaded. 2 minutes later, my routeĀ
was fully created, ready to ride. Uh the same map that Steven Cycles had written in Scotland.Ā
So today’s route, what you could do, a lot of the pros are on Straa. Sometimes they don’t showĀ
their data, sometimes they will. You would go find today’s route somewhere on Strava and downloadĀ
the GPX file. It’s right there. the activity. It’ll just say download GPX. It’s a small tinyĀ
file. You can plug it in wherever you want. It could be a useful training tool. Uh I want to seeĀ
here, guys. Still our threeman breakaway. They’re now out to 45 seconds. And I want to take aĀ
look over here quickly. Get all caught up. Get as close to the front as can. Uh guys, IĀ
am seeing a little break here off the front of the pelaton here. I’m not sure how delayedĀ
we are here. 36. Uh, okay. So, this is a couple of minutes back. Anyways, this might have beenĀ
a group that the front. It looks like B rain’sĀ Ā  going off the front here, chasing. Just goingĀ
to see how the Pelon reacts. See if this is actually a break. Trying to jump across. Uh, itĀ
looks like two solo riders trying to get across here. Not showing up. So, I’m sure they’ve beenĀ
absorbed by now. Yeah, they’re trying to get offĀ Ā  the front. They’re just doing a little push on theĀ
front, seeing how the Pelaton reacts. Eventually, the Pelon will give up. Uh they’ll control it asĀ
long as they can. And I’m going to start looking over here a little bit more to see who’s doingĀ
most of the work on the fronts. Watch out for the road furniture. Oh, some guys took the terribleĀ
way around there. Guys are bunny hopping the roadĀ Ā  furniture. Uh a quick counter. That looks like aĀ
picnic rider going off the front here. And again, this is delayed. So, this has all been caughtĀ
by now. Uh we’ll see actually who it was. Okay, so first climb of the day. Uh Yonas MororrowĀ
Schmidt and Davidid Ballerini are on the ascent of the Kote Castell Lenode Estraons. We’llĀ
just leave it there. I was thinking of uh Oh, what’s that movie with all the bridesmaids in it?Ā
It’s actually called Bridesmaids when she uh singsĀ Ā  her Spanish song. Yeah. So those were the countĀ
those were the attackers. Oh, that was the gash in our group trying to go across. It’s going toĀ
just kind of hover like this for a little while, I think. Out to a minute 02 right now, actually.Ā
20 degrees. Let’s hit the chat here, guys. Uh, I’ll put the live tracking back on here.Ā
Actually, you know what I should do, too, is give you a little bit of a route preview.Ā
I know we looked at the the setup of it. Uh, right here. Let’s look at the parkour. TakeĀ
a look on the map, too. Probably as we spin around when we when we’ve completed our clockwiseĀ
loop, you’re probably going to see the PyreneesĀ Ā  in the background. So, very flat through here,Ā
just small little bumps. We’ve moved away from the massive central, but out in the backgroundĀ
there, you can already see the Pyrenees lurking. The Pyrenees are lurking right back there. We’reĀ
swinging back north now away from the Pyrenees. So, the Pyrenees is the mountain chain thatĀ
splits France uh and Spain with Andor just wedged right in between them all. So, that’s ourĀ
route today, folks. The Pyrenees are just off the screen here in the bottom lefthand corner. UhĀ
we’re going to have a few brutal days over there. Some writers are going to see their dreams comeĀ
true. Others are going to see it all fall apart. Stay. I’m really interested in the uh theĀ
time trial front of the Pelaton looking very aggressive. Uh strung out 20 riders long. AndĀ
right now I think every jersey is a different color right now. Every team has probablyĀ
been lectured by their DS’s. You know theĀ Ā  motivational talks. Guys, we need to be in theĀ
front. Guys, we need to be in the front. We need to get something out of this. EF’s probablyĀ
the only team that hasn’t been screamed at. There’s a lot of teams here thatĀ
haven’t done anything yet at this tour,Ā Ā  and that’s normal. That’s the sad reality. NotĀ
everyone gets to win. Okay, catching up here, guys. So, yeah, I’m really lookingĀ
forward to the doing that tomorrow. Uh, dude, uh, he’s asking, can you watch onĀ
YouTube? You could probably watch it on YouTube,Ā Ā  but it’s actually copyright uh, protected, so, youĀ
know, probably don’t do that, but it’s up to you. Uh, Peacock. I don’t remember the other services,Ā
but not on YouTube because of copyright. Yeah,Ā Ā  it it gets copyright struck so fast. Like, guys,Ā
I’ve already been hit by a copyright jingle. Uh, so it’s I have to make sure my volume is downĀ
because I don’t know what’s going to show. ItĀ Ā  was in a video. I’ve said this before. It was inĀ
a highlight video that the tour to France is like, “Yeah, please share this.” But there was aĀ
tiny little jingle in there that shut her down. Steven Cycles asked uh Colin if he has theĀ
Ziftcog. Ziftcog is some technology. It’s aĀ Ā  mechanical device with a clicker that allows youĀ
to convert uh your bike basically into a one-speed and it provides virtual shifting. So, you can takeĀ
an old bike, you could take grandma’s bike that’s a 3-speed and all of a sudden make your bike aĀ
24-speed. So smart. I don’t own it. Steven Cycles just got it yesterday, I believe. Uh Sai BradleyĀ
here. Hey, Sai. Good to see you, dude. Sai, you got to help me out, man. I can’t get back backĀ
on my whoosh right now. Uh, so Sai Bradley here, guys. He’s over at my whoosh. Sorry. And I’mĀ
going to correct myself right now because Sai,Ā Ā  I do this all the time to you. Uh, it’s SaiĀ
Bradley. Sai Bradley. Uh, I guess Sai would be well, he hosts the podcast uh, Inside the RideĀ
over at my whoosh with Matt Smithson. And uh I think he does a lot of the coaches Sai does do aĀ
coaches training ride and uh I guess he’s probably like a social product manager, something likeĀ
that. So throw something in there. He’s saying, “Hey Colin, great to see you with the coverage.”Ā
Yeah, Sai dude. I’ll be back on my whoosh when IĀ Ā  can. Uh I’m one of those guys that got stuck onĀ
the outside during an update a month and a half ago and there’s all this command DOSs this thatĀ
and the next thing. I know there’s a huge update now. I’m thinking I’m just going to uninstallĀ
everything and start over. I hope that fixes itĀ Ā  for me. Uh otherwise, I love my whoosh. AwesomeĀ
graphics. Uh Colin has the black cog that comes with the Zift ride. I do have the Zift Cog for aĀ
second trainer, but don’t have the second trainerĀ Ā  yet. Okay, Don. Yep. Simon Yates in top form.Ā
Adam Yates not looking good at all. Twins. Uh, so we’ve got the Yates, the Yates Bros, the YatesĀ
dudes on two separate teams, the two top teams at the Tur of France. Vizma got the winner. Uh,Ā
Adam Yates is just not on form right now. Simon Yates proved it at the JRO by winning stage 20 ofĀ
the Jirro just this year. Uh, just keeping an eye here. I’m just watching the guys climb the PelatonĀ
up the uh, the first climb of the day, guys. So, here we are. 33 second lead for our frontĀ
group. And we do have a Van Art group here for guys. Team Simmons on the front. Uh Vanart,Ā
Yasper Stoven, Aaron Buru, Matteo Trenton’s finally getting up here, folks. Costume we sawĀ
this week. Uh I think this is Brett Van Moore. Brent Van Moore, Fred Wright. Is it Fred? ItĀ
is Fred. And Mattie Mahoric. I love this dude right here. He’s so awesome. Uh glad to see he’sĀ
finally getting out. This is his kind of a day, too. His kind of a day. So, yeah. Sai,Ā
awesome you stopped in here, man. Uh, guys, we now have 250 people watching on what I expectedĀ
to be a very slow day. Tour to France Junkies, unite. Here we go, folks. It’s bang bangĀ
time over at Inside Cycling World. Uh, Ian saying we’ll have to get a meeting up onĀ
Zip. I’m all for it. Steven Cycles will be inĀ Ā  uh guaranteed as well. I ride with Steven Cycles.Ā
I don’t want to say quite a bit, but some of my funnest rides have been with Stephen Cycles. We’veĀ
done a lot of hill climbs together. If you digĀ Ā  into my channel a bit, you’ll find things whereĀ
it’s just me and Steven Cycles riding, taking on uh I can’t I think we did the Le together up inĀ
the Kernorms. Uh we did the Karenwell up in the Kernorms. We did the call to term together.Ā
That one half killed me. Uh not in shape for it. As I make tons of videos and do more stuffĀ
like this, I constantly get more out of shape. So yeah, Ian Holmes, we will get a Zift uh meetĀ
up going. Sylvia Valentino here cheering on Vout. Yeah, he is in that break uh chase group right nowĀ
of 10 riders. 10 strong riders, too. Imagine being in a group with Quinn Simmons and Vout. Throw inĀ
Matteo Trenton here. All work beasts and Matty Mahoric. These guys all want to get up to thatĀ
front three. Make it a coalition of 13 riders. Uh, Don Singh, I hope Pavl Civikov, okay guys,Ā
my uh this likes to jump around a bit on me. I hope Pavikov on Yui has recovered from whateverĀ
was alien on stage 10. Yeah, me too because he’sĀ Ā  going to have to step up and try to help TattyĀ
out a little bit. Good point here, Dawn, because that’s what I’m thinking here. I think Vizma hasĀ
a good chance of isolating Tatty very easily this year. And I think there’s other people in theĀ
top 10 that want to isolate him as well. Uh, we know several years ago, I believe it was whenĀ
Yonas got his first win, Roick was there to help, Sepoose was there, uh, Yonas to get Tatty isolatedĀ
and Tatty cracked. He did. He’s not invincible, folks. He wasn’t back then anyways. ImagineĀ
if Roger and Florian Lippy would say, “Hey, man. We want to help out. We’re going to help outĀ
Vizma to crack Tatty so we can vault our Red Bull riders closer to the top. I can easily see thatĀ
happening. If if you’re if you’re in the top 10, that would be the smartest thing you can do.Ā
That’s the smartest strategy you can have. Uh okay, let’s go here. Uh Sai Braidley is sayingĀ
again, just a heads up, we got an interview podcast released this week with uh Jiron. IĀ
think that’s how you’d say that. Swartwart, head of Performance U. Okay, sorry. I’ll beĀ
checking that out. I listen to every podcast. Uh, I haven’t been on my whoosh quite a whileĀ
only because I can’t get on right now. So,Ā Ā  I got to get working on that, too. Robert here.Ā
Uh, he’s saying free. I guess he’s asking which apps are free. It’s the monthly fee that keepsĀ
him away from most of those trainers. Dude, uh,Ā Ā  you can ride my whoosh absolutely for free. So,Ā
okay. Here’s the rundown. You can ride. Okay, the majority of them are a a paid subscription.Ā
They all offer some free component though. Okay, so I’m going to do a quick rundown. Zift, theĀ
biggest pay structure. You do pay monthly, but you could ride 25 km free per month. So, you pick andĀ
choose what you want to ride. This is if you wantĀ Ā  to trial them all and pick the one that you want.Ā
And then obviously, if you like the platform, you should contribute to it. That’s how I look at it.Ā
Uh, Ruvie, same thing. Paid subscription, but they do offer 20 kilometers free per month. Hey guys,Ā
you could ride the Hodiccom route tomorrow if youĀ Ā  really wanted to for free on Ruvie. It’s there.Ā
Uh, it’s also on Zift right now, too. Uh, so you could pick any of those routes. You just got toĀ
stay under that monthly mileage. uh by terra free a selection of routes that they provide probablyĀ
I don’t want to say they have the most real world routes right now but I’m sure they theoreticallyĀ
they do because you can create real the one that me and Steven Cycles created uh yeah probablyĀ
I don’t know if anyone’s ridden it but it was a road he sent me it’s a 42 km route on the westernĀ
flanks of the kernorms I would imagine mention uh I created it. It’s there. It was that simple.Ā
Now, training peaks virtual paid. I don’t know what they offer free per month. They probably haveĀ
something for a paid one. And then my whoosh isĀ Ā  100% absolutely free. So, you can run it wheneverĀ
you want. I would suggest, and this is just my suggestion, and I know size here, uh run it onĀ
the best quality machine you can. Uh because it is graphics intensive. It looks fantastic. Some ofĀ
my videos I’ll see people commenting, “Hey, Colin, my video doesn’t look as good as yours.” That’sĀ
because you’re not running it on a PC. You’reĀ Ā  not running it on a gaming computer that has anĀ
in uh you know, an independent graphics card. Uh it is graphics intensive. So, my whoosh, youĀ
don’t have to pay a thing to ride it. So, Robert, go check that one out. Colin quotes, it’s worth itĀ
for me. That’s what I say, too. Uh, I subscribe to both Ruby and Zift. I pay for both. What doesĀ
that cost me? 50 bucks a month. Less than a gym membership. It’s definitely less than PelatonĀ
still, which whatever. Uh, I want the real cycling uh, simulation. We got Tequila here again. What’sĀ
greetings from France? Bonjour. Robert saying 17. Yeah, I have no idea. I think I thinkĀ
a thousand Swiss Franks is a good chunkĀ Ā  of cash. Joey Jojo saying, “Hit the likeĀ
button, guys. It is her birthday, so please give her a special like here today. 273 peopleĀ
watching right now.” Floyd Landis was great, dude. He was I love that tour to France. OscarĀ
Pereero, uh, Cadel Evans was there. Carlos Sastra. It was just crazy that stage how he decimated theĀ
entire Pelaton at the Tour to France after losing the jersey the day before by and he was behind byĀ
15 or 20 minutes. Something crazy like that. Uh, okay. Colin saying race score is 650ish rightĀ
now. Okay, nice Colin. Yep, there we go. Uh,000 Swiss Franks is $1,243 from Tony C there. Uh,Ā
and then Tequila is saying it’s 83. Either way, it’s a good chunk of money for handingĀ
your rider a gel at the wrong time. Uh, yeah, Dawn saying, “I think they lost 11.”Ā Ā  I think you’re right. I think we’reĀ
down to about 170 riders right now. Yeah, the American riders looking good, guys.Ā
Wow, this is so awesome to see here. ReallyĀ Ā  cool to see the pink jerseys on the frontĀ
as they do hold the yellow jersey. They are expected to do the work on the front,Ā
guys. Uh, let’s just take a little lookĀ Ā  here. Three riders still in front. Our originalĀ
breakaway. The Chasing Group fell apart again, I believe. Yeah, they’ve been absorbed. WeĀ
have one solo rider from Total Energy stillĀ Ā  trying to get up there to them. They’re notĀ
willing to let Vout get away. Vout, Maddie, uh, Matteo Trenton. They won’t let those guys getĀ
away. So, they’ve been pulled back already, guys. Okay. Uh, Vocalon. Ah, okay. So, Vocalon was trying to get upĀ
to two, but he’s been pulled back now. So,Ā Ā  uh, the other rider from Total Energies wentĀ
solo up ahead. Now, I don’t think they’ll want to let Valon get away either. Team EF’s job nowĀ
is to hold this jersey as long as they can. Uh, hold it. They know they’re going to lose it.Ā
Uh, the team isn’t strong enough to protect it all the way. I’d love to see it though. UhĀ
remember back in their the mid 2000s I think it was. Uh Thomas Vogler, what was the team name?Ā
Europe car. I think they’re a car rental agency over in Europe. Uh I think he held it for likeĀ
nine or 10 stages when no one expected him to. Uh Donsson here calling you need a Zift and bikeĀ
terror sponsorship. Uh I would gladly take a bike terror sponsorship. Um, Zift, they Yeah, ZiftĀ
is great. They’re guys, they’re all great. Just They’re all riding bikes. That’s the beauty of it.Ā
Okay, so it looks like 56% of the people right now are saying that there should be a salary cap.Ā
I thought that number would have been higher,Ā Ā  but like someone said earlier, if you have aĀ
salary cap, it breeds mediocrity. And I can see that, too. So, someone else had a really goodĀ
idea, and I thought about this again yesterday, probably when I was like around in the yard. UhĀ
he said and I think he was the one that said it.Ā Ā  No salary cap. Okay. Uh push hard here guys.Ā
Short turners. We got to close this. This is EF talking right now. They do not want thisĀ
breakaway getting out there. They don’t wantĀ Ā  the second group going on the road which is nowĀ
I think it’s just one rider and actually it’s two riders right now. It’s uh Marco Holler. We’veĀ
seen him before for tutor and Datre. Delatree, Alexandre from Total Energies. So, EF beingĀ
very attentive on the front here, protecting the yellow jersey. Alpas and Dcoin followingĀ
them. Four, five riders. And it looks like good chunk of three riders from Visma. Actually,Ā
I’m seeing more Tudtor riders coming up, too. So, Tutor wants to get active. Tutor’s a team thatĀ
needs to be careful this year of UCI points. Uh, remember they’re all fighting to get that WorldĀ
Tour license. World Tour license is a guaranteed invite to all the World Tour races. Uh, if youĀ
don’t have that license and you’ve got a fantastic rider like Tom Pitcock, you don’t get to go to theĀ
race. So, okay. Still catching up here, guys. Uh, yeah, Dom, when you say that, you say Zift andĀ
Bike Terra. Right now, I’d be leaning towards bike terror because these guys communicate with me. Ah,Ā
check this out here. The total energies guy and oh, I wonder who that was thereĀ
giving a nice push to the totalĀ Ā  rider. He actually gave him a hand push likeĀ
they would do in track cycling to go for it, dude. Just go for it. I’m IĀ
wasn’t sure who gave him the push. Uh, maybe that was Was that Vocalon? Is thatĀ
who they’re talking about? That might have beenĀ Ā  Vocalon. So again guys, I’m a little bit delayedĀ
here. So there is two riders in this group here now. Uh Pete Courtney in the mix as mentioned onĀ
Monday. I really appreciate the commentary as it keeps me updated my desk. I also appreciateĀ
the insight on rides, apps, etc. Just Pete,Ā Ā  thank you so much, dude. Guys, if you when I getĀ
time, I’m going to do a little I was telling Jojo, uh there’s five major platforms. Zift, Ruby,Ā
my whoosh, TPV, that’s training peaks virtual, and Bike Terra. Bike Terra is easily in thoseĀ
five. They all offer great value. Some are free, some are paid. Uh, they all offer differentĀ
things, but it’s still all cycling. If you want to get cycling inside safely, just let me knowĀ
and drop a comment here that you want to see a video about it. I thought what I’d do, I’m kindĀ
of bad for making long videos. People tell me, “Oh, Colin, here’s my advice to you. You shouldĀ
keep your vid videos at roughly 18 minutes.” No,Ā Ā  not doing it. Not doing it. Uh, I want to giveĀ
you as much information as I possibly can. So, my I have a ton of tutorial videos on Ruby.Ā
I did a My Rouch review. Uh, I probably did a Bera one. Yeah, I did do a Ber one, but I wasĀ
going to do more of a compressed one. You know, I’m going to do a half hour video, five minutes onĀ
each of the five major platforms. five minutes ofĀ Ā  the at the end me just rambling on about nothing.Ā
Uh, and then you can have a look at all of them. I’ll show them all on screen. Obviously, I can’tĀ
until I get my whoosh up and running. Again,Ā Ā  it does work for other people. It’s just me rightĀ
now. So, don’t get me wrong. It’s not that it’s that hard to get running. Uh, then you couldĀ
have a look at all of them. Then you’re free to go try them all out. Remember, you can tryĀ
them all without paying for anything at first.Ā Ā  Find the one you like and then support it. uhĀ
these things don’t get developed for free. So Pete uh thanks for your comments and thankĀ
you so much for subscribing. So we do right now still have our three liter break consistingĀ
of Berini Abraham Sim and Mororrow Schmidt. Two riders chasing Marco Hower and Alexandre Datree.Ā
Yeah, that’s one I’m just going to ruin today. How far are we here, guys?Ā Ā  See, we’re gradually waking our way wayĀ
behind broom wagon right behind them here. I do want to take a look at something over hereĀ
quickly. Uh, no, we got to get out of full screen. Okay, let me get caught up here.Ā
Okay. Yeah, so we’re seeing him.Ā Ā  We know he’s jumping across right now.Ā
Uh, I’ll finish up with the chat here. question, Don. Good question here, Don. So,Ā
is there a rear wheel trainer connection to aĀ Ā  computer or tablet or is the holes with bikeĀ
setup? Dude, you start out with just a wheel on trainer. So, wheel on trainer means you takeĀ
your bike and plon it on and there’ll be like a little resistance wheel back there. There’ll beĀ
a tiny little roller. And they’ve gotten better.Ā Ā  It basically looks a wheelon trainer. looksĀ
like an all old school turbo trainer. Uh or I remember them being called wind load trainers.Ā
They were loud. Uh I noticed what’s funny to me is a lot of people from the UK still call themĀ
turbos even though they’re riding fully smartĀ Ā  trainers. They still call it a turbo. Uh sure,Ā
why not? That’s a smart trainer. You get a wheel on smart trainer. You install the app on yourĀ
PC, your phone, your Apple TV. It’s compatible with virtually everything and they all do this.Ā
Uh the software talks to your trainer through a Bluetooth or Ant Plus setup. Most people just useĀ
Bluetooth. ANT Plus can handle more connections at once. Uh ANT Plus has very limited range. So,Ā
usually most people have an ANT plus dongle. Bluetooth. I just use Bluetooth. Okay. And thenĀ
your output is recorded by the trainer. It feels the resistance you’re pushing against. uh it canĀ
calculate your revolutions. It sends that data to the software and it moves you along the course.Ā
So wheelon trainer is kind of your first step. Uh you don’t need the Zift bike. So you should goĀ
like I was out at the bike shop yesterday. I need some oil for my chain. Uh I’m going to switchĀ
switch to waxed here on my next chain change. Uh so they’re going to do a hot wax for me there.Ā
And then there’s a top up wax that you just I was holding it going, “This doesn’t look like oil toĀ
me. What is this?” So the young guy TJ who runs the bike shop there, Cal Cycle, out in the countryĀ
here, the craziest bike shop you’ve ever been to,Ā Ā  it’s in an old chicken barn and the bike shop justĀ
goes forever and forever and forever. Uh I swear the building’s over 200 feet long, so it justĀ
keeps going back. Uh yeah, TJ says, he goes, “Let me know what chain you need, what your gears areĀ
on your bike right now.” He goes, “I’ll do the hotĀ Ā  wax treatment in the back for you.” He says, “ThenĀ
he grabbed the stuff I was looking at.” He goes, “This is what you top it up with.” So guys, I’mĀ
not very mechanical. I don’t want to take my chain off and my cassette off. I need Steven Cycles hereĀ
for that. Uh he’s quite the mechanic. And uh you just top it up. Then you’ve got like this superĀ
super fast uh wax lube on your bike. So yeah, Don, you can go wheel on, you can go wheel off,Ā
you take your back wheel off, wheel off. trainers are uh more accurate, offer more resistance.Ā
Uh a wheelon trainer, you could if you’ve got a good sprint, you can you can overpower itĀ
very easy. Uh it may only give you 900 watts, 1,000 watts of resistance. If you’ve got a 1500Ā
watt sprint, you’re wasting your energy. So, wheelon trainer, more accurate, more expensive. UhĀ
Zift bike is kind of like the all-in-one package. Uh, okay. So, Colin see the the trainers for theĀ
rear wheel and it’s Bluetooth to your computer,Ā Ā  your phone, tablet. Yep, perfect. Just whatĀ
I said. Uh, poll is almost even salary caps definitely still in the undecided pill.Ā
Yeah, that’s what I’m seeing too. 57%. Uh, Don saying here, Peacock for USA andĀ
Eurovision for European viewing of the tour. Uh, Flow Bikes is the only way I can legally watchĀ
it in Canada. That’s how I’m doing it. Uh, and I think for me, you know, converted from USĀ
dollars to Canadian, I think it ends up beingĀ Ā  like $214 for the year. I’m like, “Oh, come on.”Ā
Like what, less than, is it 16 or $17 Canadian per month? Something like that. $18 a month.Ā
Uh, so it’s kind of a primo subscription, but you get everything. Riders going through the feedĀ
zone here. Uh, showing that from the past there.Ā Ā  Just want to catch up here, guys. Uh, things areĀ
changing. We got our three up front. We now have five in that break. The Pelaton is now allowingĀ
some of them to go. We are a good 50 kilometers into the stage now. I believe uh with 111 still toĀ
go. I think this is around 165 km stage. So let’s take a look here. Uh here’s our five in the break.Ā
Dathlon rider bron uh tron another dathlon totel energy twod dooror total energies five teams thatĀ
need to get something going this tour uh let’s take a look back here dathlon a2r are not happyĀ
with the break as the pace decreases in the bunch two riders from dathlon set off so they’re goingĀ
after that breakaway now uh 1437 here guys okay so was that that long ago. I’m at 640. Okay, so thatĀ
was four minutes ago. Gotcha. Uh we were 40 km. Yeah. So we’re probably we’re well over 40 km intoĀ
the stage now. Uh I know this wasn’t the longest stage. Giving the guys an easy day after the restĀ
day here so that they can prepare for the hotcom tomorrow. That’s going to be a fantastic stage.Ā
Do not miss that one. Do not miss it. Uh Robert saying, “Thank you for breakdown on trainer apps.”Ā
Yeah, dude. Robert, I will make a video for that. Uh, I’ve had some people requesting me to to doĀ
some commentary over on Zift for them, which I IĀ Ā  really want to, but uh I just got to see how I’mĀ
going to fit everything in the Zift. Uh, I love doing the Zift uh team time trials on Thursdays,Ā
but with this going on, uh, I’m supposed to be doing coursework for uh, pre-licicensing courseĀ
work for a program I’m working on. I haven’t touched it in 10 days. So, that’s all on hold,Ā
guys. all on hold just waiting for NBC to give me a shout and say, “Dude, we need you to comeĀ
across. You can work from home.” Uh, Robert’sĀ Ā  asking, “What I remember about that Floyd stage isĀ
the water. Dude was drinking mass amounts of water and dumping on his head. Kept the water moto nextĀ
to him. Kept grabbing bottles.” Dude, I’m see if I can remember that. It’s hard going back to watchĀ
it because I just found a random stream yesterday.Ā Ā  Uh, this stuff’s so old. I don’t think theyĀ
obviously you can view it. Uh it’s the that old VHS coverage. Uh it’s so grainy in places. Yeah,Ā
I’m showing showing me a replay now of the two Dathlon riders getting up front. Their directorsĀ
probably screaming in their ears. Let’s go, boys.Ā Ā  Let’s go. Come on. Uh the Totel Energy Rider wentĀ
with them. That Totel Energy Riders would be H. Okay. Well, looks like he’s just fallen out. I’mĀ
seeing one rider left behind. Oo. So, a little bit of a split here. I want to get take a look at theĀ
map now and see how these splits are forming. WeĀ Ā  got multiple groups going on. Here’s our three-manĀ
breakaway. We’ve got two chasing groups here. They need to get back together. It’s changing allĀ
the time. Went from four riders up to five with the Decathlon riders now at the front. Yeah, guys,Ā
earn your money. Earn your money. You need to earn UCI points. Uh, four riders back here. So, it is aĀ
nine nine riders in the front group. Essentially, they are only separated by 11 seconds. IfĀ
I was these five, I’d wait for these four. Uh, Murice here, Connor Swift, Muleberger, Tomas.Ā
They need some more firepower up here. Like, where’s uh Maddie when you need him? Where’sĀ
Matteo Trenton? They got pulled back earlier. It’s going to be a wild one, folks. Going to be aĀ
wild sprint. Bingham needs to get there for thatĀ Ā  sprint. Uh, while we’re here, let’s take a rank aĀ
look at the rankings of the green jersey. Do that. I know I’m going to be blown out of the waterĀ
here with the lighting now. Oh, after stage 10, green general ranking, Jonathan Milan 227 points,Ā
Pogy still at 163, uh, Bingham Germine at 151, and Tim Merley at 150. So, 20 points onĀ
tap at the uh, intermediate point there. And while we’re out of here, too. I’mĀ
going to do this, we’re going to look at the points that are available for today.Ā
Come to the sporting stakes here. You can see here 20 points at first. What do we gotĀ
at the end? 50 points at the end. Again,Ā Ā  so there’s 70 points on tap today. Uh if you canĀ
get both of them, I think Bingham needs to start working on these better. Uh because that’s howĀ
Jonathan’s got a good chunk of his points. He keeps winning all the intermediates and thenĀ
placing high on these ones or winning them. Okay, 46 seconds. The leaders out front.Ā
Three riders going all out. Aana, Unoax, and JCO getting a ton of TV time today, folks.Ā
Mororrow Schmidt does not ride in the purple jersey. He rides in his Swiss jersey here. JacoĀ
on the sides. Saw him get asked yesterday. So, you don’t like purple? Nah, he wantsĀ
to ride in his national jersey. Uh,Ā Ā  45 seconds further back. Virture day oneĀ
crash with Ben. Oh, I think Ben Tomas is nearby. I think Ben Tomas is in the second group.Ā
He caused him to crash. Total accident. But let’s have a quick look. I thought I saw his name.Ā
Yeah, there he is right there. This guy hadĀ Ā  the first polka dot jersey of the tour uh on theĀ
sprint up to the top of the climb. I think it was a cat four climb. Maybe it was a cat three.Ā
uh his back wheel slipped out on the cobbles, kind of slid out, took himself and BircherĀ
down in a pretty hard looking crash. Um yeah, so Robert, if you want to get into insideĀ
cycling, it’s safe, it’s easy, it’s convenient, uh probably make you spend less money than ridingĀ
outside. Okay, I think I need to shut Okay, I want to keep that smaller. Oh, I didn’tĀ
want to do that. Just lost my chat here,Ā Ā  guys. We can end that poll for now. AnyoneĀ
else has got another poll suggestion, just let me know. Yeah. So, I’m going toĀ
finish watching that one today, Robert. Yeah, it was so crazy because he lost so much time theĀ
stage before and then he just basically wakesĀ Ā  up. He had a really good motivational talk theĀ
night before. Let’s just leave it at that. And uh [Laughter] he woke up the next day and said,Ā
“Whoever’s left in the tour to France, I’m just going to beat everyone. No one could touch me.” UhĀ
Brett, I don’t know if this was discussed already, but Ben Healey’s yellow Canadale is gorgeous.Ā
Also, I’m a fan that loves full yellow. Yeah, me too, man. I love it. Uh let’s go to defaultĀ
view, maybe. Okay. Uh oh. I don’t like that. No, that’s okay. Yeah, maybe that’s better for me. I’mĀ
trying to mini player. We don’t want that. Theater mode. Full screen. We don’t want that. Sorry,Ā
guys. I’m just messing around here a little bit with my screen view. Uh scene where I can seeĀ
you guys. Okay, open that panel in the side. Yeah, once they have a little look at him.Ā
Yeah, Ben looks great in the yellow jersey.Ā Ā  Uh I saw some videos yesterday him hangingĀ
out with the team. That team is so stoked right now with the yellow jersey. Uh definitelyĀ
a smaller budget team. So so good to see it. Yeah, exactly. Robert Floyd’s motivationalĀ
talks. I you know what that’s the that’s the way it was back then. That’s how itĀ
happened. That’s the way it went down. Uh, sometimes though it is hard for me to look backĀ
and watch some of them. It’s like other expros,Ā Ā  I’m not going to mention names, other ex-pĀ
pros reviewing stages in the past talking about what was going on when they were allĀ
juiced like as if they weren’t. Uh, guys, front of the Pelaton now looking pretty crazy. AndĀ
there’s just a string of riders out the back here. Everyone’s driving on the front. I’m sure there’sĀ
lots of radio action going on here right now. So, guys, get to the front. Get to the front. Get inĀ
the brakes. They They only have so many days to do it. Uh, Ortiggera is here. What do you think aboutĀ
the incoming diabolical TT? Who do you think will shine? Dude, I am so excited about the stage. IĀ
hope everyone’s pumped. Guys, I’ve said before, too, sometimes people don’t think the time trialsĀ
are cool. I get it. I can see it. It’s not a big sprint. It’s not they’re not staring at eachĀ
other going they’re not doing the Lance lookĀ Ā  which was never the Lance look. He said thatĀ
in his book. He said I was just looking back. It just got called the look. Um guess allĀ
the dynamics of the pack normally going on. Thank you for the coffee everyone. Uh andĀ
shout out to those that went above and beyond in the last one. I think it was uh I thinkĀ
it was our I forget his name now. He’s fromĀ Ā  Oklahoma though. And of course, Cole Kane forĀ
contributing again. Dude, really excited about the TT again. It’s 10.9 kilometers and guys,Ā
I’ve stared at it a lot. I think it’s 650 m in climbing. Uh the first 3 kilometers areĀ
slightly up, like probably 1% up, 1.2% up, and a bit of downhill. So, they start down in theĀ
valley system and they run along the river system. They take a hard 180°ree turn to the right and
they start climbing. So all the climb is in the last 8 kilometers. So basically they’re going toĀ
climb 8 km at 8% gradient to cover that to get all that elevation gain. Uh Brett saying I would loveĀ
to see the bike terror live stage thing. Please uh do the video. We’ll watch it. Dude, I’m gonnaĀ
do it. Uh like I said, I’m a true believer in you. I don’t want to say you help me, you help karma,Ā
right? I’ve done so many videos for Ruby. Uh I’ve done a ton of videos for other platforms and IĀ
really haven’t had a lot of interaction. And maybeĀ Ā  that’s me expecting too much, but when you’re theĀ
only person making videos for said applications, uh you think I would have thought they would haveĀ
reached out to me a little bit more. So anyways,Ā Ā  the bike terra guys, like when I did myĀ
one YouTube video, I was kind of like, I wonder just kind of what I’m doing. I was justĀ
rambling to myself, commentating on a race, tryingĀ Ā  to make it fun. Uh, trying to let the dudes thatĀ
are racing relive it later. Some guys don’t even know about my videos. So, that’s why it’s greatĀ
if you like them. We got 241 people here now, guys. Uh, like I said earlier, I asked a bunch ofĀ
questions and I think it was Anslo, that’s his one of his profiles. I don’t really know what his nameĀ
is. Uh, I think he’s in Europe. He answered point by point, every single one. I’ve had Matt, he’sĀ
the other developer, reach out to me directly. Uh, hey Colin, you’re doing a great job. We love it.Ā
I’m going to help you dudes out when I can. I’m going to show this stuff off. So, we will beĀ
doing that tomorrow. I had it all planned forĀ Ā  today. It’s actually sitting live and active rightĀ
now uh on my PC as another event. So dude, yeah, Ortiggeras, I am so looking forward to stageĀ
uh 12, the 13. Stage 13 on Friday. That’s the mountain hill climb up to Paraguds. Uh RiverĀ
Valley straight up. I’m still thinking Remco is going to win it. I honestly am. Uh I thinkĀ
Remco has to win it. Has to win it. I did take a look back at the stage where uh Yonas kind ofĀ
blew Tatty out of the water a couple years ago. um I think in 2023 now it was a longer stage. IĀ
think it was 24 km long. 22.4 23 km and it had two bumps. It had a bump at the beginning and aĀ
bump at the end. So obviously all the climbing is not the same. Two bumps about the same amount ofĀ
climbing though over the whole distance. So it’s I I need to get a reference as to how much climbingĀ
was in the first one. Let’s say they were both 650 m. I don’t think all the climbing in the firstĀ
one was in the two bumps. I think there was some extra climbing. So, this one’s definitely harder.Ā
But in that time trial in I believe it was 2023, uh Yonas took 1 minute and 38 seconds awayĀ
from Daddy. He’ll climb time trial. So, guys, am I trying to hype it up? Am I trying toĀ
cause drama? Tiny bit. I’ll be honest. Uh, but I don’t think you can write Yonas off. I knowĀ
Tatty wins everything. Tatty, Tatty, Tatty, Tatty, Tatty. Uh, did you see at the end of stage 10 whenĀ
Tatty attacked at least twice, he kicked as hard as he possibly could and there wasn’t a wheelsĀ
gap to Yonas. So, Yonas has been doing something different this year. And I saw a video a while agoĀ
that um he’d been working on his explosiveness, you know, doing these I think it showed likeĀ
1100 watt uh sprint attacks out of Yonas, which is a lot of watts per kilo for him. UhĀ
okay, going to jump back to the chat here, guys. Uh let’s just take a quick look here. We have justĀ
under 100 kilometers remaining. Three riders stillĀ Ā  up front. They’ve been in the lead the whole way.Ā
They’ve been in the lead now for about 55 56 km. Jumping back here to group verse the guy thatĀ
took the big tumble day one. Marco brought Tron Alexandre here from total energies and C ClemoĀ
birthday for the Kathlon. Further jumping back to the uh they’re calling this the to the ThomasĀ
group to Bentoma group. Uh they’re actually showing a little clip of him here right now. Uh weĀ
got four riders here. Then we’re going to bounce back 17 seconds to the Pelon. So, the Pelaton’sĀ
keeping this one really close today. Sprinters are probably doing some work at the front, too. It’sĀ
just a mish mash of riders at the front, though,Ā Ā  to be honest. Uh, it’s constantly changing. EF’sĀ
up there a lot, but there’s just a constant chunk of riders in there. Got a crazy motorbiker ridingĀ
along through the fields beside him. He’s doing aĀ Ā  wheelie all the way on his dirt bike. Love it.Ā
Absolutely love it. Uh they’re showing a replay here of Ben Tomas going on the attack on uh stageĀ
one. Uh yeah, so Ortaras really looking forward to that stage. Uh Brett’s saying he wants to see theĀ
bike terror video. Dude, Brett, watch it. Uh I’m hoping some of you that maybe don’t ride bikes,Ā
you’ll start to ride bikes. Uh I told you before, I basically quit riding bikes in 97. ThereĀ
was no inside riding apps to use. Uh I had a million flats. I was late for work, my first realĀ
professional job out of university, I just parked my bike and left it. And then out of the blue,Ā
uh, when I met Joey, we watched the tour a lot. And then she just kind of looked at me a few yearsĀ
ago and said, “Well, why aren’t you riding a bike?Ā Ā  You you watch it every day.” So, I think I did IĀ
go buy an old mountain bike? Yeah, I think I went and bought like just a cheapo mountain bike. No,Ā
I had it laying around. I So, I would have done a few rides. I think I had a mountain bike justĀ
to to around on. I had to take it to Cal Cycle.Ā Ā  The shock was blown out, rusted in place. Took itĀ
in, spent as little on as I could. I love those guys. They’re like, “Dude, just go cheapo because,Ā
you know, you don’t want to dump a bunch of moneyĀ Ā  into this bike.” I’m like, “Yeah, you’re right. IĀ
didn’t.” And probably a couple months after that, I have my first road bike back. So, guys, ifĀ
you’re interested, just dig into the channel a little bit or tell me what you want to see. IĀ
can I thought about one day doing taking anotherĀ Ā  camera and showing you my setup here. You can seeĀ
what I do. Um, Nina Nina W, tomorrow uphill steep time trial. Come on, Roger. That will be two daysĀ
from now. Uh, tomorrow is hoticcom. Uh, it’s the steep time trial is after that, I believe. I hopeĀ
I don’t have that wrong. Yeah, tomorrow’s hotcom uh with first cat one and cat 3. And then Friday,Ā
July 18th is paraguds. that this is the time travel right here, guys. Oh, wow. Let’s Why don’tĀ
we zoom in on this quickly, guys? I’m so excited about the stage. See, you can see where we startĀ
in the small village of Ludenville at the bottomĀ Ā  of the valley. It’s going to snake along,Ā
take a hard right straight up the mountain. This could totally flip-flop everything. One goodĀ
time trial. There’s over 653 m of climbing in that bump there. So you can see here this firstĀ
chunk I’ve eliminated. I thought you know whatĀ Ā  first three kilometers it’s basically flat.Ā
Uh then it just starts climbing all the way. So we’ll get out of that guys. Get out of thatĀ
there quickly. Actually this is the quickest way to do it. Just jump back here. Okay guys, it’sĀ
starting to form up again. They’ve absorbed thatĀ Ā  middle group. We’ve only got three riders outĀ
front. The front of the Pelton’s driving hard. Yeah, it’s just everyone’s up there. I’m seeingĀ
a couple pink riders, Groupupama, FDJ’s in the mix. Helicopter view, so having to look prettyĀ
close. Two door riders are up there as well. So, it’s just down to our three riders up front.Ā
They’re controlling this now. Thinking aboutĀ Ā  the sprint down the road, I believe. Uh Evan likesĀ
the TT. Uh the the team time trial is what I don’t understand how it fits in the race, dude. The teamĀ
time trial used to be uh a big thing at the tour to Francis. Way back when they used to have aĀ
100 kilometer time trials for a whole team. Uh and I think on some of those they had reduced timeĀ
losses so you could only lose so much. The tour evolves every year. They’re constantly evolving.Ā
So next year the team time trial is coming back.Ā Ā  Uh 2026 I think it’s on stage one. Uh the teamĀ
time trials and the indiv individual time trials have been gradually shortened over the years justĀ
like the tour to France has. Uh tour to France’s in the old days were like 4500 kilometers plus.Ā
Now we’re at 3,300 km. The tour has gotten shorter and faster. Uh in the original Tour to FranceĀ
days, which I got to get that book downloaded, Joey Jojo, that’s going on my wish list. I’mĀ
really fascinated with like the marathons of the old days. They wanted it to they wanted to makeĀ
it so that it was almost impossible to do. So, it just made when guys finished it even more of anĀ
accomplishment. Oh, Alison riding here with Vizma at the front. Wow. For a second there, I thoughtĀ
that was Yonas. So, this is a replay here. Riders trying to get across. Let’s just see what they’reĀ
saying here. And another move. Yeah, we’re seeingĀ Ā  it here. So, this was just one minute ago. Uh,Ā
Clement Russo launches a new move with Quinton Pashe for Group. I was saying there’s GroupamaĀ
FDJ guys hanging out at the front. Vout’s there as well. Ah, yeah. Not Yonas’s Vout. The helmet threwĀ
me off a bit. I just saw some color on the side. I thought it was the Danish helmet from a distance.Ā
Uh, cuz Vout and Yonas both wear different helmets than the rest of the team. Pretty amazing thatĀ
Vogue gets to wear that uh Red Bull helmet. Pretty strong sponsorship there. I think this is justĀ
going to keep happening all day. These three areĀ Ā  going to be allowed to dangle out front. Uh andĀ
the Pelaton’s going to keep pulling these brakes back. Everyone wants to break away to form, butĀ
if it hasn’t yet, it’s going to be pretty tough. Eventually, the Pelaton will relent. uh EF andĀ
the other guys can only cover so many breaks. Uh right now guys, it’s 25 seconds. They’re, youĀ
know, 3 400 meters up the road from these guys. Uh Brett’s talking to Evan. Totally agree. But I willĀ
say that it’s beautiful to watch the TTT, dude.Ā Ā  Brett, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. When you watch nine,Ā
okay, it used to be nine. Now it’s eight. When you watch eight riders just effort, it it look itĀ
looks effortless. Uh they are so well drilled, so well trained, each taking their turn. Uh the soundĀ
that’s when you hear all their wheels at once, there’s so so much carbon. Uh the wheels, it’sĀ
fantastic. I absolutely love a team time trial. Uh when teams are smooth. Thinking Posties backĀ
in the day. Yes. And uh and Sky. Yeah, they had a great time trial team. Yeah, it just showed howĀ
strong your team was. You may not have had a GC contender, but you could have a really welljelledĀ
team. Riders, another Dathlon rider trying to get off the front in the replay here. Just our threeĀ
front 26 seconds, guys. Thanks for being here. Uh almost 300 people watching. We’ve been goingĀ
for an hour and 40 minutes, guys. Let’s rock. Um, Hans here is saying, uh, you can show historicalĀ
moments of cycling news whilst live streaming. I’m not sureing if he’s commenting that IĀ
should be doing that or I can do that. Yeah,Ā Ā  dude. I’m trying to show what I can asĀ
this as the stage goes on. If they give me little bunches of videos. Uh, inĀ
fact, why don’t we do that now? We’llĀ Ā  just pop up here and see if they’ve gotĀ
anything new for us here to show right now. The staging video. So like this isĀ
all from the last stage n live stage. Uh let’s see if we can show thisĀ
or not. Yeah, we can’t show justĀ Ā  a little bit of race radio here guys. AlĀ
go. This is very early early on the stage today. This is the three rider race. SoĀ
that’s Moro Schmidt up front there. Um, actually I need to get out of that now. I can’tĀ
get out of that. Okay, so I’m kind of stuck here, guys. Let’s get out of that. Close this and getĀ
back to my stage. So, Hounds looks like he’s a new uh commenter here today. Robert saying,Ā
“Seeing Quinn Simmons on TV again at the front of a chase group. I’m becoming a fan.Ā
Dude is a monster, dude.” Totally, dude. Uh,Ā Ā  I keep calling him Team Simmons. He’s done moreĀ
work than anyone in the entire race this year. More work than anyone. Nina W, have you done HaveĀ
you done the question? Will Ben Healey keep the yellow jersey today? Good one, Nina. We’reĀ
doing that. We’re doing this for Nenah. Uh,Ā Ā  guys, I want everyone commenting here. Start aĀ
poll. We do a poll. Will Ben keep the yellow. We’re going to start the poll right now. Should be fired up for you guys. AndĀ
I’ve already said yes. I think Ben will easily keep the yellow today. I don’tĀ
think much is going to change in theĀ Ā  uh the GC. I think Tatty is going to try justĀ
stay safe. Remco will be staying safe today. Today’s not a day for them. Today’s a day forĀ
the breakaway or the sprinters. But uh yeah, really good poll. If you guys have any polls andĀ
you wanted me to throw them out there, guys, let’sĀ Ā  be interactive here. Uh that’s what this channel’sĀ
all about. There’s other people doing this. In fact, guys, I woke up early today. I saw someoneĀ
that was actually on my channel a few days agoĀ Ā  doing exactly what I’m doing right now. So, I wasĀ
kind of like, dude, okay, whatever. Do your thing. You do you. Um, Saturday is brutal. It’s goingĀ
to be so fun. Okay, so yeah, Saturday is super ban. Saturday super Yeah, dude. It’s going to beĀ
brutal. Yeah, Nina. No, thank you. You don’t have to thank me. Thank you. Uh, Colonel RPG is here.Ā
Oh, 100%. So, I think I’m not sure if Colonel is saying that he’s it’s going to be 100% that BenĀ
will keep it. Please uh just see the poll at the top guys there and just tag something in there.Ā
Fingers crossed to man. Yeah, definitely he’sĀ Ā  going to keep it. I can’t see how we would lose itĀ
today really. Uh let’s just jump out of here guys. See, I lost my stream. We’re okay. Uh so,Ā
well, Ben only has 29 seconds on Tatty, but it’s going to be such a high-speed finish. IĀ
highly doubt Tatty’s gonna go on a breakaway to gain 29 seconds back today knowing tomorrow he’llĀ
probably easily beat Ben Healey by 20. Oh well, having said that, Ben Healey is a climber, guys.Ā
Ben Healey is a climber. Is Ben Healey a time trialist? I wouldn’t. Of course he is. Uh, isĀ
he a time trialist of Tatty’s level? No. Is he a climber of Tatty’s level? Very close. So, I couldĀ
see Ben doing quite well tomorrow, too. Especially if he has the yellow jersey on his back. So, IĀ
could see him doing very well tomorrow. Guys, let’s take a look here again. Three riders upĀ
front, Moro Schmidt, Abraham Sim, and DavidedĀ Ā  Ballerini being pursued now uh by Machu Burgo.Ā
Saw him a lot in one of the earlier stages and Fred Wright from Bering Victorious. Again, look atĀ
these teams. We’re not seeing Vizma riders. We’re not seeing UAE riders. actually looking over hereĀ
on the screen right now. Uh full helmets. He’s not wearing the helmet with the uh air slots in itĀ
for ventilation. Campon art sitting on the front pulling for uh Van Art and the Trek team. ThereĀ
we go. Uh Quinn Simmons on the front, folks. Quinn Simmons is stage hunting, folks. He’s allowed toĀ
stage hunt on the days uh that maybe they think the sprint’s not going to happen. Evan, exactly.Ā
Uh, yellow jersey give you wings. Colonel RPG saying yes, Ben keeps it 100%. Dude, I believe so.Ā
100% too. Uh, and I’m cheering for Ben Healey. Uh, what they say? I think he’s only the fourth orĀ
fifth Irishman to wear the yellow jersey. Uh, you know, Steven Ro. I think the first guy was namedĀ
Shay Elliot. Shawn Kelly, good old Shaun Kelly, green jersey winner. Um, did Dan Martin wear theĀ
yellow jersey? Does anyone know that Dan Martin, Irish rider. Did he wear the yellow jersey? I’mĀ
seeing looks like a mechanical here for one of the Arca guys. Uh, looks like he might have beenĀ
further ahead though. Trying to get this figured out who this is. It’s Arnold Dear, the sprinter.Ā
So, let’s figure out where he is on course right now. Again, slightly delayed. Uh, that’sĀ
probably him here right now. Boom. It is, folks. Uh, so at this point, Demar has caught backĀ
up with Enkhorn here. So, he’s got someone toĀ Ā  ride with from Sudal to pull him back to theĀ
front. The main Pelaton, we have 165 riders. Uh, up the road here, Burgo and FredĀ
Wright. And at the front of the course, three, the trio of breakaway artistsĀ
from the very beginning today, riders. uh going to the chat here.Ā
So only 64% are saying that uh Ben will keep the yellow jersey today.Ā
So what’s everyone thinking then? That’s myĀ Ā  question for everyone. Who do you thinkĀ
will have the yellow jersey if not Ben? I just want to see the poll again here. Uh we’veĀ
only got 39 votes. I’ll let it run for a little bit longer. 250 people watching right now, guys.Ā
Love it. Thank you so much. Uh again guys, this is an easy day for these riders at only 157 km. ButĀ
with 1750 m of climbing, like if you’ve never done 1750 m of climbing or 157 km ride, it’s hard. It’sĀ
hard riders. Uh yeah, it’s tough stuff. I’ve done some of the climbs. I think I’d be better at doingĀ
individual big clims. Like I know I can do the hoticon. Uh, I’ve done El DuZ. I’ve done the MambaĀ
2. Mamba 2. Uh, Joey Jojo was away. I think she was in Vegas at Crime Con one year. Uh, JohannesĀ
here is saying, “You mean Benny?” Uh, okay. So, what do you mean by that? Johannes, JohannesĀ
Kandani, uh, saying, “Yeah.” So, Evan saying, uh, yellow Evan, you’re in third place on the chatĀ
board right now. Keep them coming, dude. Uh, Nina,Ā Ā  nice to have different yellow jersey winners. IĀ
I absolutely agree, Nina. I love when the jersey changes hands all the time. Just seeing MachuĀ
Vanderpool uh go back for bottles. Couple of bottles, mini sticky bottle there for him and he’sĀ
back in. Doesn’t go to the back. Straight up the side of the pelon. My favorite cyclist out there.Ā
Uh yeah, if it comes down to a sprint today, Benny does have a chance. And I’d like to seeĀ
Benny get involved at this intermediate coming up. I would like to see him get involved at theĀ
intermediates uh and get some points ahead ofĀ Ā  Jonathan Milan because right now he always seemsĀ
to be finishing just behind Jonathan every time. Okay, watching this here now. 86 km remaining,Ā
three at the front. We’ve got our two chasers. Uh Pelon 4. So the Pelon is not letting this getĀ
away. They do not want this break to get too far ahead. Uh the final four categorized climbs isĀ
where we might see a a brand new break come along here. Uh I think after the sprint points kind ofĀ
the day wow only 57% think Ben’s going to keep it. Um Anna, thank you so much Anna. Anna my she saysĀ
my channel is amazing. Anna, I don’t know why it’s amazing. I think it’s you guys uh by being hereĀ
with me. We’ve got almost 300 people here guys. Uh, I love the chitchat. I love the commentary. IĀ
love you guys bringing questions in. Uh, I don’t know everything. I love the really, really smartĀ
cycling fans here, uh, providing me with info and, uh, bringing things up from the past. AndĀ
actually, I really enjoy all the questionĀ Ā  from new people, too. Um, I realize not everyoneĀ
rides a bike. Some people just watch the tour to France and they love it. And I would, too. Uh,Ā
I did it for 20 years without really riding a bike. Just fascinated by the whole event. So,Ā
I watched the Lance era, the Yan Olrich era. Lance’s era was pretty long, right? Floyd winning,Ā
Floyd having it stripped away from the Schllex, Contidor, Carlos Sastri, Cadell Evans,Ā
all that stuff. Then the rise of Team Sky, uh, just dominating everything. WGO. Chris Froom.Ā
Guys, don’t ever forget about Chris Froom. Uh, that’s another guy that had a a horrible crashĀ
and just never got back to where he was. Running up the side of the [Ā __Ā ] 2 in his cycling shoes,Ā
bike destroyed, unridable, and then running up. Okay. Yeah. No, Johannes, I understand what you’reĀ
saying. He’s talking about Binyong Germ Benny.Ā Ā  I thought you were referring to someone elseĀ
named Ben. Dude, there is a guy named Ben. Uh I was probably talking about at the same time,Ā
so I understand that. No problems. Uh yeah,Ā Ā  dude. Benny could easily win today’s stage. HeĀ
just needs to get positioned near the front. He just needs to kick at the right time. And that’sĀ
part of it, too, with these sprints. When Jonathan Milan lost a few days ago to like, you know,Ā
half a wheel length to Tim Merlier, that was just sprint timing. uh you know when they’reĀ
cranking out those big watts. I imagine those guys are cranking out like 15,800 watts, somethingĀ
like that uh in their like their ultimate sprint, you can only hold it for so many seconds. It’sĀ
like a balloon letting the air out. You got aĀ Ā  whole bunch of power and then it goes toĀ
nothing. Uh you could see Jonathan started his sprint like one second before Tim Merly. TimĀ
moved out, started to sprint a little bit later, used the draft to his advantage, and had that justĀ
that tiny bit extra to get over the finish line uh ahead of Jonathan Milan. So, it’s a lot ofĀ
sprint timing, and that sprint timing, surfing the other riders, uh using the draft to your advantageĀ
can help the riders that are like one step down in speed win sprints. It’s happened for years. Smart,Ā
savvy sprinters uh able to beat riders that are theoretically faster than them if they were toĀ
line up in a drag race. As the as the stage un unfolds, they find themselves in the right places.Ā
They got they know how to read the sprint. Um okay, so yeah, Johannes was talking about Benny.Ā
Benny could win today. He he has yet to win his first stage. Last year he won three stages, guys.Ā
Bingan Germay won three stages last year. Uh he got his first win. He had the confidence. ThisĀ
year, you know, think about it. He’s probably like, “Why can’t I do it this year? What’sĀ
going on?” You know, he just doesn’t have thatĀ Ā  confidence yet, guys. Right now, we’ve got fiveĀ
riders in the front group. Five riders in the front group. So, Fred Wright and David BelleriniĀ
did bridge up. Now, it’s a 1 minute 21 second gap. I think these five are what the breakawaysĀ
the Pelaton’s allowing now. Uh they’ve let those two jump on. Uh Ballerini and Fred Wright mustĀ
have just killed themselves trying to get backĀ Ā  on there. See what they’re saying here. Yeah, fiveĀ
re riders in the lead after a brutal battle. Just what what I’m telling you guys. The pace dropsĀ
down in the bunch. So they’ve decided now. Okay, now these five, we’re okay with this. So let’sĀ
see who’s in the top five here. Top place rider in 53rd place it’s uh Mattea Machu Burgau fromĀ
Total Energies. 97th place is Moral Schmidt. 100th and eighth is Anderson Abrahamson Fred Wright atĀ
115. Davided Ballerini at 170th uh almost in last place on the race. So that’s why these guys areĀ
allowed up the road. They’re 42 minutes behindĀ Ā  Ben Healey overall. The only way they could gainĀ
that back is if Ben Healey stopped, took a break, uh, had coffee on the side of the road, and letĀ
them finish 42 minutes ahead of him today. So, they could finish 20 minutes up the road, folks. AĀ
lot of people don’t understand this if you’re newĀ Ā  to cycling. They have to gain that all back.Ā
They’ve dug themselves a hole. They have to steal that time back over all the followingĀ
stages. This is all tracked. If you look at the cyclists underneath their seats, uh you’llĀ
see a little black thing sticking out. Uh that’s the transponder that keeps track of where all theĀ
riders are on course and their times at the end of the day. So if you’re 42 minutes behind todayĀ
and you finished 10 minutes of Ben Ben Healey, you’re still 32 minutes behind them. You may haveĀ
been in the group that won the stage. You may have won the stage. You’re still going to be 32 minutesĀ
behind him because you only took 10 minutes back. Uh, Nina’s asking, “Will you miss Grant Thomas?”Ā
Another previous one. Yeah, Grant’s been awesome. Uh, really classy guy. When did he win? 2018.Ā
He won the tour in 2018, I believe, for Sky. Uh, he was there, too. You know, great rider. ProbablyĀ
another rider that got stuck on a team with tooĀ Ā  many good riders. Uh, it’s kind of like Sky at theĀ
time was the UAE or Vizma now. Vizma now. uh WGO, Chris Froom, uh Thomas, they had a bunch of greatĀ
riders. Mikuel Landanda was there for a while. But yeah, tour winners and he was kind of waitingĀ
for his turn. So yeah, he’s retiring. I thinkĀ Ā  this this I’m not sure exactly when he retiresĀ
this year, like what will be his last race? Pete Courtney, over 300 people watching, guys. ThankĀ
you so much for joining my little channel. Uh guys, so like I said, I was looking last night.Ā
We’ve got the women’s tour coming up at the endĀ Ā  of July. I did a lot of research last night, guys.Ā
Uh I did see something a few days ago. They were celebrating Tatty’s 100th win, 100th professionalĀ
win. And when I was watching the Jirro Don, because I did watch it, I forget the cyclist name.Ā
Uh she just scored her 106 win. So guys, it’s the same stuff. It’s the same stuff. Uh really, reallyĀ
high caliber women’s cycling is out there. Uh so Patty’s got 100, this lady’s got 106. She’s prettyĀ
dominant in her sport, too. So I’m really excited to be covering that at the end of the month. AndĀ
then we’ve got the Valta. Uh I think that starts August 25th and goes into September. We’ve gotĀ
the tour of Poland. We’ve got the German tour.Ā Ā  We’ve got the tour of Denmark. uh the Arctic uhĀ
Norway trail I think it’s called it was called all world tour races. We’re going to see some moreĀ
pro teams showing up. Uh even some of those races allow a couple of continental teams to help for uhĀ
show off the young talent and I’m going to followĀ Ā  those because there’s guys that are like rightĀ
there. They’re right there. Actually, there’s a rider this year. I saw him. I was looking atĀ
last year’s results. Uh forget which race it was. might have been the Arctic race. There’s a riderĀ
in this race right now and I’m going to showĀ Ā  them to you right now. Teams, I know that’sĀ
bright. Teams, we’re going to go to Moastar. We’re going to Moastar right now. I think it’sĀ
this rider here. He rode for Continental level. Continental level or pro series team lastĀ
year. Castrio Zeder. He’s a time trialist. Uh but I think last year I think he was on a teamĀ
called Pharma Kern or Kern Fararma, I believe. Uh unless it’s a guy with the exact same name.Ā
Uh so you can you’re going to see this talent coming up. They don’t all start on these teams.Ā
They got to work their way up through the ranks. So club club club level continental levelĀ
basically means a continental continental level team kind of sticks to its little part.Ā
It’s kind of geographically based. So you may be a continental team and you only race in Spain andĀ
Portugal. That’s your little area. Maybe you go toĀ Ā  France a little bit. Uh pro series will race allĀ
of Europe if they get a wild card invite. World Tour teams have to attend the World Tour events.Ā
18 slots, you have to send a team. You can’t say, “No, we’re sitting this one out.” You have to sendĀ
someone. I don’t know if there’s exemptions forĀ Ā  that. Okay, so uh Pete Courtney, I know Pete’sĀ
comments been sitting here for a little bit and I did see a Pete. Uh I don’t see Ben losing timeĀ
or getting dropped or any of the four categorized climate. I don’t either. I don’t see UAE allowingĀ
Tatty to jump into the sprint washing machine. Yeah, I don’t either. Tatty’s going to be atĀ
the front, hit the 3 kilometer mark, pull off, just stay in the bunch, and not lose any time toĀ
Ben or Yonas, uh, Kevin Bolon. They’re all going to be together. Uh, looks like we got a big groupĀ
going up the road now, folks. Big group going upĀ Ā  the road. So, uh, it just exploded off the front.Ā
I’ve been watching the replay here, seeing it go down. Uh, initiated by Groupama, FDJ, and Alison.Ā
So, that’s happening now. and I’ll tell you what’s happening live. So, we got five on the front. UhĀ
the two riders bridged across to our original trioĀ Ā  of breakaway artists and then there’s a smatteringĀ
of riders coming up now on my replay. But what’s happened is 19 riders. Now it’s down to three. UhĀ
that’s changing all the time. So there’s guys who are in the there’s actually 22 riders that haveĀ
been allowed to Here’s the two Groupama guys I was just talking about. Pache and Russo Russo withĀ
the one rider Vermiche from Alpas and Donic. So I’m I’m watching that happen. Uh then there’s aĀ
group of 19. They were all together at once. So I think this replay is showing me them coming backĀ
together and they split again. In this group here, we’ve got Aurelians, Paripon, Gashinard who wentĀ
earlier, Vanard. So this Gashinard guy, he’s hunting for a breakaway today. We saw him earlier.Ā
Van Art’s hunting for a breakaway earlier. Trenton was hunting earlier. Broga is trying to getĀ
involved. Anthony Turgis, this is his kind of a thing too. Um Magnus Court Nielson earlier onĀ
today he says I want to be in the breakaway today. Here he is. Gonovan. That’s interesting. This oneĀ
Gonovan is a pure sprinter trying to get up the road. Honor De Lee, another sprinter trying toĀ
get up the road. I wonder if they’re trying toĀ Ā  get up the road to get those sprint points beforeĀ
anyone else does. Uh take them away from the big boys. Again, uh only 60% of the people sayingĀ
Ben will keep the yellow. Anyone that voted no, uh just let us know who you think it’s goingĀ
to be. Oh yeah, I love this. I love this from Dawn. Be back. Be right back. I have a kickboxingĀ
class. I’m going to go destroy someone here for the next few minutes. So Don’s heading outside.Ā
be right back. He’s got a part a class outsideĀ Ā  the park. Awesome stuff, Don. Hope it’s got someĀ
good weather for you. Uh Pete’s saying, “I think Ben will keep yellow.” Me, too. Uh Nina here.Ā
Yeah, Total Energies badly need a win. Uh good thing about that right now is they do have BurgoĀ
on the front and we have seen Gashinard in one of these groups. Okay, not this three rider groupĀ
here. Remember, these two are the ones I saw.Ā Ā  I didn’t know who they were, but I saw them goingĀ
with an Alpison rider. Uh, so in this group here, this Murice group, uh, I think there’s two TotalĀ
Energy riders here. Let’s have a quick look. Uh, Nina, thanks for bringing that up. It justĀ
triggers me to go look at something. Uh,Ā Ā  we see more Dathlon riders. Here’s Gashinard, whoĀ
attacked earlier. Probably been a plan, guys. We need to get in the break. Uh, and we got AnthonyĀ
Churches, probably their best rider. Uh here he’s in the break as well. So we’ve got three TotalĀ
Energy riders pushing on the front end today. How big is the gap here? They got 126Ā
to the front. The trio, the second trio, or the only trio now, uh is 12 seconds, 14Ā
seconds ahead of the group of 19. They’re desperate to bridge up. I I’d be hangingĀ
back waiting for that group to help me out.Ā Ā  Uh, the second group though is onlyĀ
23 seconds ahead of the Pelaton. So, I think the Pelaton’s going to try to controlĀ
this second big dangerous group and they’re going to allow this trio of three to try to bridge upĀ
to the front there. Uh, it’s a big gap to bring back right now. These guys would really haveĀ
to slow down uh to allow these three back on. Uh, we got someone here. Uh, AT33.Ā
Sprint’s not that far away now, dude. Uh, it’s got to be, let me justĀ
take a look over here. Our sprint, we are currently 81.8 kilometers intoĀ
the race and sprint point is at 97.3. So, we’re 17 km out from the sprint. Uh, we’re goingĀ
to be there pretty quick. Estimated arrival. Let’s see if we can figure this out. Say an 810.Ā
I think we’ll be there quicker than that. Uh 17 km. Yeah, I think we’ll be there in aboutĀ
20 minutes. It’s my guess. After that point, too, we still have 59 km to the finish, includingĀ
four categorized climbs. They’re nothing serious, guys. Uh this is not going to changeĀ
the GC of the tour to France today.Ā Ā  Um, these four climbs may allow someone to breakĀ
away and escape uh and secure uh stage win today. Sylvia saying alter. Yeah, they got to getĀ
something going to inter Mare uh with one of the top sprinters has done nothing yet this tour.Ā
I mean, yes, he’s third place overall on the green jersey, but they need to win something. Remember,Ā
one win at the Tour to France defines your career. It’s like, yeah, whatever. Who cares about allĀ
the other stuff he did at this tour, that tour,Ā Ā  but he won a stage. He won stage this at theĀ
tour to France. People remember that forever. Jeff’s here. It’s been a long time since we haveĀ
seen the pink kit from EF on the podium. If they protect Ben, I think Ben has enough experienceĀ
to know when to contest Pogy. Yeah, I think BenĀ Ā  can probably hold I think there’s a chance Ben canĀ
hold it tomorrow, too. Uh, an allout climb. You’ve seen Ben. He’s got that really distinctiveĀ
climbing style when he’s out of the saddle. Okay, so this is talking about earlier, guys,Ā
the big chase group. Uh, but they’re just kindĀ Ā  of dangling here. They’ve only got a 7-second gapĀ
on the Pelaton. They’re going to be brought back. They’re not going to get up to these guys here.Ā
In fact, these guys will probably be pulled back, too. At the rate we’re going, they’re onlyĀ
about 40 sec 40 seconds ahead of the Pelon. So, I think the uh group Maurice hereĀ
and the group Pache will be caughtĀ Ā  back. It’s going to be these low fiveĀ
lone brave warriors out front battling. Uh let me get back up here, guys.Ā
See if we got any near live stuff. That’s the highlights. Near live, guys. Let’sĀ
take a look at this here for you here. Oh,Ā Ā  I can’t get to that one. That link doesn’tĀ
work. Uh, and these will be from really earlier today. So, let’s just fly back here forĀ
now. Stick with what I’m seeing on the course.Ā Ā  And that’s how I want to do it, guys.Ā
And when we come to the sprint point, we’re going to do like last time. I’m goingĀ
to kind of hide the sprint point results fromĀ Ā  myself. And I’m going to purely follow uh flowĀ
bikes here. Trying to see where we’re at. Uh, okay. So, I’m about a kilometer behind on flowĀ
bikes right now. And they’re showing that trio. Uh, two group FDJ riders and an Alpison toĀ
Coinic rider. Who is the Alpasen rider here for Meech? Okay, 118th 116th Pache here sittingĀ
at 29th place. It’s a good move for him. Good move for him if they allow him to get away andĀ
he can get some time up the road. Remember,Ā Ā  all the guys that need to uh that are eyeballingĀ
each other are all riding here together. I think what I’m seeing right now on screenĀ
here is that group just being taken back.Ā Ā  I think I can see Bout in third place rightĀ
now. Pelaton’s all coming back. There’s the yellow jersey of Ben Healey. I almost said TattyĀ
there. I think he might be wearing a pink helmet, though. I’m not sure if he’s in a yellow helmet.Ā
Um, let’s go, guys. Yeah. So Ben’s not going to lose stuff today. He’s not. Tomorrow brutal.Ā
Oh yeah, tomorrow’s hotcom. Okay. So things could change tomorrow. If it was the mountainĀ
time trial tomorrow, I could see Ben holdingĀ Ā  it through that. Maybe not. Uh because then theyĀ
got to control the race. Uh that’s going to be a tough job tomorrow with only a 29 second gap backĀ
to Tatty uh in second place. In my head there, I was thinking the time trial’s tomorrow andĀ
then it’s just Ben doing his all-out effort.Ā Ā  He would be the last guy on the road to go out.Ā
He can see Tatty’s times and react to it. Uh, and just bury himself to keep the yellow jerseyĀ
for one more day. Even if he works so hard that he’s going to absolutely lose it the nextĀ
day. Uh, with hotcom tomorrow with their how the scheduling is. Yeah, he’ll probably be outĀ
of it tomorrow, but he will hold it today. Uh, uh, Robert here, “Enjoying seeing the ark on onĀ
Seel. Too often it’s yellow or white or polka dot. The most beautiful jersey ever.” Uh, Robert, whichĀ
jersey are you talking about there? I’m confused. Got an answer here pretty quick. Tequila, doĀ
you think do you think the Pelaton is trying to keep Pogy from breaking away? No, I thinkĀ
Pogy is just content to sit in there. Kilo, when I get a shot here of him, uh I’m findingĀ
it’s mostly just saying staying on the breakawayĀ Ā  today. Uh and not a lot of Pelaton shots,Ā
it’s very easy to sit Ben Healey because you can see his three four teammates right nearĀ
him. I’m going to start looking more over here. I’m thinking it might be a very good time forĀ
me to run and try to grab one more coffee.Ā Ā  We’re flying along, guys. Like, we’ve gotĀ
70.7 We got 69.7 km to go right now. Uh, all out racing here. Probably close to 50k anĀ
hour. So, basically, we’re like probably anĀ Ā  hour and a half from the finish. It will slowĀ
down in places. Uh, let’s keep going here. Yeah, I don’t ta I don’t thinkĀ
Tatty would dare attack today. Uh, we know he’s Tatty. We know he’s theĀ
best rider in the world right now. Uh, but his team has been weakened. He doesn’t wantĀ
to do anything stupid before the big big hill climb tomorrow. He’s He’s just going to cruiseĀ
along with everyone else and finish right thereĀ Ā  with them. Yonas is going to do the same thing,Ā
too. The only reason you’re going to see anything crazy at the end is teams just accelerating toĀ
keep their riders at the front. Like Visba’s been doing it over and over and over. Uh seeing someĀ
breaks in the Pelaton back here, guys. There’s a bunch of riders that have just fallen out theĀ
back. Uh I don’t know when and how that happened.Ā Ā  So five at the front. The three plus the two thatĀ
came on board. Oo, take a look at this here, guys. Some of the riders that were going to be caughtĀ
managed to get away. So, it wasn’t showing meĀ Ā  on the transponders. We’ve got seven riders. Now,Ā
it’s getting a bit more dangerous, folks. Vanard, Trenton, Vermesh, Gronov, Arnold Dele goingĀ
with Gronovan to cover those sprint points, I believe. Uh, what’s the gap? It is only 11Ā
seconds to the Pelaton. So, they’re probably going to be caught up like I thought before. That’s theĀ
Group Palama FDJ riders and the Alpison rider plus the guys that are are still attacking just tryingĀ
to wear the Pelaton out. So the Pelaton consists of 91 riders, but take a look at this. 21 secondsĀ
out the back. We’ve got 70 riders, 69 riders out the back right now, including Matteo Jorgensson.Ā
Roglick is back there. Johansson Skeleos who’s 15th overall. Emanuel Bman, I saw his nameĀ
last night, too. This guy is just kind of like for Kofides 20th place overall right now. JustĀ
stealthily in the top 20. Uh that’s really cool to see. I think there might have been some open uhĀ
terrain before and there was a little bit in the split in the Pelaton. I did see some gaps earlier,Ā
so obviously there’s some winds out here. Okay, I’m watching this here now. I can see the Van ArtĀ
Group on the front and it looks like Ben HealeyĀ Ā  is on the front. Yeah, Ben Healey is in yellowĀ
right now probably sitting right on the very front chasing after them. They do not want this groupĀ
to get away. This is a very strong group. Wow, there’s a ton of riders back here. Uh bit of aĀ
gap. That’s going to come back together though,Ā Ā  guys. It’s 14 seconds. I see Kevin Valon’sĀ
back there. There’s a ton of big names back here. Skelemos, Jorgensson, Rajlick, Simon Yates,Ā
Blackmore, Barge, all of those guys, Camponarts. So, I wonder if there’s a touch of wheelsĀ
somewhere and they got caught behind in a crash.Ā Ā  Uh, oo, he’s got some stuff here. Vanderpole andĀ
Healey on the move. Vingo follows. I think I’m seeing Healey pushing on the front right now.Ā
So, that’s what I’m seeing here right now. Here we go, guys. Workload. This is the three upĀ
front. Uh the original breakaway, 30, 29, 27. They’re all doing equally aboutĀ
the same amount of work. Uh they’veĀ Ā  been caught by two other riders,Ā
so now they’re going to be doing a little bit less. They’ll be happyĀ
to see those riders up front there. Let’s move on here, folks. Let’sĀ
move on. It’s getting exciting.Ā Ā  There’s stuff going on here.Ā
There’s a break off the back. I’m kind of wondering about this group back here.Ā
What has happened to them all? 69 riders back here. The yellow jerseys up here. 15 riderĀ
group. Ben Healey, Pogy, Aventipole only. Mass Pache. That was the guy that tried to goĀ
earlier. Here’s Gron’s back in the group now. So, the GC has decided we’re pulling this back.Ā
I’m watching it go down now, folks. Quinn, Team Simmons at the front. Uh, Van Art just aĀ
couple riders back. Yonas is in the mix, too. So, this is what they’re talking about here. YonasĀ
is getting to the front going with um Ben Healey. Where’s Tatty? Uh, I’m seeing some white jerseysĀ
at the back of this smaller group. Wow, guys. This is not what I expected at all. Not what I expectedĀ
at all today, guys. It’s a tour to France. YouĀ Ā  don’t know what’s going to happen. Group threeĀ
here, 83 riders. Now it’s showing. Group two, Ben Healey group. So Yonas was there. Tatty’s inĀ
this group. Uh Yonas just finds himself behind in the second group, but guys, it’s only Well, theyĀ
are saying it’s 30 seconds. Sorry. No, it’s not 30 seconds. It’s changing all the time. There’sĀ
there’s multiple groups here splitting out. Now, let’s keep let’s let this stabilize a little bit.Ā
Five in the front, then it says a group of 15 withĀ Ā  the yellow jersey. That’ be Ben Healey. Uh thenĀ
it’s got 152 riders now in the main pelaton. One second group. It’s all coming back together,Ā
folks. But interesting to see these ridersĀ Ā  pushing this hard this early on. And amazing toĀ
see Yonas riding on the front right now. Uh again, this is a replay guy, guys. I’m about oneĀ
kilometer behind. Yonas is sitting on theĀ Ā  front driving. Uh it looks like Oscar only isĀ
with him and I can see Ben Healey, uh fifth rider on course. This was earlier in the 15 rider break,Ā
which is now just dangling out in front. Well, out to 20 seconds again. Now things are changing fastĀ
here. Uh Quinn Simmons spoke quite early about the importance of a tour stage win while lamentingĀ
his second place place finish. Yeah, exactly. He is determined to get a stage win and on non-sprintĀ
days. Uh kind of Quinn has free reign to do what he wants this one. You never know what’s going toĀ
happen today. Uh he’s probably in a tough positionĀ Ā  knowing that it could be a Jonathan Milan stage,Ā
but I think Quinn’s strong enough to do both. Uh, and they’ll be able to tell them like Quinn,Ā
go now or you need to wait for uh for Jonathan. Pelaton really, really strong out here, guys.Ā
It’s been really active. Uh, not the stage I was expecting at all to be honest. It seems like theĀ
GC wants to get involved today. Robert Stanley, thank you so much, dude. Um, greetings fromĀ
Oklahoma. We’ll put this towards the Joey Jojo birthday fund today. Thank you so much.Ā
Happy birthday, Joey. Uh, like and subscribe, y’all. Support Colin, dude. Thank youĀ
so much. 345 people watching right now,Ā Ā  guys. Do my best to give you theĀ
coverage the way I see it. Um, guys, watch your feeds. Listen toĀ
me. Jump into the chat. Have fun. Uh, Bhanu Tes here is asking, “How can IĀ
see the game?” Uh, follow along here. Uh, hopefully you can get a subscription somewhereĀ
to watch. I know it’s getting harder and harderĀ Ā  to watch the tour to France and they’reĀ
really cracking down on people. Yep. Oh, yeah. Sorry, Robert. Okay. ArcĀ
Aniel world champion stripes. Yeah,Ā Ā  Pogy back in his uh traditional wear today.Ā
I should have known that. Thank you, Robert. Uh, Tequila’s saying thank you. I’m not sure ofĀ
what I did there. Uh, Benny needs a stage win. Abel here saying Benny needs a stage win for sure.Ā
He needs that confidence builder. Okay, guys, watching the replay. Guess who’s on the front?Ā
Team Simmons. Team Simmons always on the front, it seems. Uh, I’m only 600 meters behind.Ā
So, this is looking really fun here now, folks. Here he is here. So, another groupĀ
has split. Okay, five guys up front. We got a chasing group of five. Machu Vanderpool,Ā
Quinn Simmons, Laurance, Vanart, Arnold Dele, Arnold wants to sprint. Vault might want toĀ
sprint. The Cyclacross Kings of the World, Vanderpool, and Vanart, uh, riding togetherĀ
here in this group. That is a deadly group, guys. That may be one of the greatest groups ofĀ
all time. Uh, they’ve got a 17 second gap over 22 riders. Wow. This stage is insane, folks.Ā
This is absolutely insane. We’ve got Healey, Pogy, Aventipole, Vingigo, and but it’s it’s it’sĀ
just changing all the time. I think there’s riders going off the front continuously getting smallĀ
groups of 15 and 16 riders. It gets pulled back. They go again. It’s constant attacks includedĀ
by the GC riders today. So, let’s just see if we can see the map and see. Yeah. Okay. So, it’sĀ
all back together now. two groups, five up front, five chasing. Those five chasing, let them getĀ
back. Let them get back with you. I would take my chances with uh Machu Vanderpool uh and VenardĀ
and Quinn Simmons if I was in the front group. I’d be like, “Yeah, dude. Haul us all the way. Haul usĀ
all the way.” What is the gap between them? It’s 48 seconds. Just put Vanderpool on the front andĀ
just say, “Dude, do your thing. Do your thing.” Guys, did you see uh that stage with him andĀ
Rickert? That was such an incredible stage. He was caught 700 meters from the finish after beingĀ
in the breakaway all day. That guy would he would never give up. Never give up attitude. Rickard didĀ
pull out a bit early. I think I saw from Steven Cycles this morning. I think that the I think itĀ
was 3 hours and 23 minutes he managed to maintain uh normalized power 401 watts. Like guys, that’sĀ
huge power. Huge power. So, cycling efforts are measured in watts and watts per kilo. The higherĀ
the numbers, the better. Watts per kilo are more uh a measurement of climbers and absoluteĀ
watts. Uh how long can you maintain certain power are more for flat riders, time trialists.Ā
So you may have a high watts per kilo climber, but because they weigh so little, their absoluteĀ
wattage isn’t that high. So if you put a bigger rider on the flats, they can ride less watts perĀ
kilo and generate more power and be faster. All depends on the situation on the road, depends onĀ
the riders, too. Uh I’m obviously twice as heavy as Vang Bingo. Well, not twice as heavy. Uh butĀ
he can put out way more watts per kilo than me. Okay, 51 seconds here. The front group of fiveĀ
is holding off this guys. They want to get toĀ Ā  the sprint points. So in the five here, rememberĀ
there is points uh rewards and bonuses. Some of these sprint points will have uh like I said,Ā
there could be cash uh monetary prizes. There usually is. It might be 1,500 euro for being theĀ
first guy across the line. Uh, it could be a block of cheese as well or a bottle of wine from theĀ
area. And when it’s usually like a case of wine or an 800lb block of cheese, something like that.Ā
Looks like things have stabilized a little bit. We got our five riders chasing. This is a veryĀ
strong group here. Simmons has found himself in the perfect group here. Uh, if he’s going forĀ
a stage win, Simmons looking really good here for Trek. 47th overall. I think he might be theĀ
highest placed on Tre right now. Is that correct? I’d have to double check that. Then looks likeĀ
we got Nelson Oliver riding solo for Movie Star. I wonder if he’s been sent up the road. LikeĀ
guys, we need to get someone up there. Uh allĀ Ā  these teams will be desperate to be represented atĀ
the front. So you look here, no MOAR rider. Front five. There’s no MOAR rider there either. So thereĀ
is a director in a car somewhere screaming, why do we not have someone at the front? get up there,Ā
you know, get on TV, show off for the sponsors. Okay. Uh, getting back to the chat here, guys. Again, thank you to R. Stanley from OklahomaĀ
for the contribution today. Joey Jojo fun today, guys. Uh, Benny does need this stage. Exactly.Ā
Benny’s in the Pelaton right now. Ebel just hanging out with the rest of the sprinters.Ā
They’re actually they’re finally showing meĀ Ā  the Pelon here, guys. Jonathan Milan surfing theĀ
back. A lot of guys uh hands in the air asking for bottles. It’s 30° Celsius, so it’s about 88 87Ā
Fahrenheit. Neil’s Plet riding on the back today. Not his job to chase today. If this was a tattyĀ
stage today, Neil Plet would be on the front the entire way. Tim Wellins on the back, too, back inĀ
his Belgian uh jersey. Tons of riders got their arms up in the air here. I’m not sure if they’reĀ
all looking for bottles. Tim Wellins just threw aĀ Ā  bottle at the camera bike just nonchalantly givenĀ
them a bottle. I’ve seen riders throwing bottles into other teams cars um just so they don’t getĀ
a penalty. If you throw your bottle away outside a designated zone and there’s not a fan nearby toĀ
catch it, that’s that’s the trick. Uh you will get penalized. But if there’s a fan standing nearby,Ā
he’s going to want the bottle. So you know,Ā Ā  oh there’s 30 people there. I’m outside the zone.Ā
I’m just going to give the bottle anyways. Okay, guys. I’m trying to avoid what see what happensĀ
in the sprint here. I’m watching right now. 500Ā Ā  meters to go. This is the front five right now.Ā
Uh Ballerini, Mororrow Schmidt, uh Abraham. 300 meters to go. They’re just strung out in a longĀ
train. They might have already decided who’s goingĀ Ā  to get the sprint. The UNOX guy is getting outĀ
of the saddle right now, though. I bet you he’s going for it. They need any kind of victory rightĀ
now. UNOX rider coming up on the right hand side takes the first position. Looks like he will getĀ
the sprint. Fighting for it. Fighting for it withĀ Ā  the Astana rider. Uh so Aana and Yuno X desperateĀ
for any victories they can get right now. Uh this always looks good for them. Always looks good toĀ
be seen battling at the front. Vanderpool group uh 53 seconds back. Nelson Olivera chillingĀ
out by himself. Solo 27 seconds behind them. and the Pelaton 161 riders all back together.Ā
So things were pretty haywire there for a little bit. Uh the yellow jersey attacking, Pogy going,Ā
Yonas sitting on the front. Not what you would expect on a day like today. Uh we will watchĀ
the second group and I’ll call that one backĀ Ā  too because there’s still going to be pointsĀ
available for Jonathan Milan and Bingham. Uh we can be sure of some things in the tour ofĀ
France there will never be any cheating, right?Ā Ā  Lol. All right. Yeah, Jeeoff, you’re 100% right,Ā
dude. 100% right. Uh Quinn is a a 1960 surfer, dude. He must listen to the Beach Boys in the Bus.Ā
Yeah, you never know. He probably rides a Harley,Ā Ā  too. Uh Cole McDonald. Yeah, it’s crazy. SportsetĀ
or TSN doesn’t have it on on a channel. I know, dude. Nothing. Uh the only way inĀ
Canada is uh Cole, when you say that, you must be Canadian. I’m not sure if I’veĀ
asked you where you’re from. uh TSN and Sports Net supposed to mean Canadian sports. Uh we’veĀ
got Nelson Oliver going through the replay now,Ā Ā  so he’ll get sixth place in the sprint. There’sĀ
probably still at least 10 or 12 points left for the next position that Jonathan’s going to want.Ā
Uh honestly, those World Champion jerseys have the same colors as the Olympic graphics, but IĀ
think some perceive it as a gay pride thing. Okay,Ā Ā  that’s just how people are these days. No, it’sĀ
totally different from that, dude. Uh it’s the world champions jerseys. It’s the world championsĀ
bands around the the center of the chest and someĀ Ā  guys even have it around the side of the jerseyĀ
right here like I do like I have on my jersey today. Uh but I’m not a world champion. Okay, justĀ
watching here. Ben Healey sitting in the bunch now. Things have calmed down in the Pelaton.Ā
I don’t know what was going on there before,Ā Ā  but everyone was attacking. Maybe everyone’sĀ
just getting sleepy sitting at the back. Uh, Brooke Bullock here. This is a new commenter.Ā
Hey, Brooke. Nice to have you here. Thanks for joining us, guys. 322 riders right now. PleaseĀ
like if you can. Just all you got to do is slapĀ Ā  that little thumbs up button. It really helps meĀ
out a ton. Uh, is there any chance for Yonas to make some time today or not so much today? Yeah,Ā
he’ll be saving his legs for tomorrow. Brooke.Ā Ā  Brooke, today is a sprint day or breakawayĀ
day. The only guys that are going to get in the breakaway is people that are really far downĀ
in the GC. Meaning they’re they could be an hour behind Yonas at this point. Even though they’re upĀ
the road, if that makes sense. They need to finish one hour ahead of Yonas to be equal on time withĀ
them. Remember, it’s every day counts. It’s a a every day is a new race. Everyone’s racing forĀ
this one day race. Overall times take the GC. That’s why it’s called a stage race, whichĀ
means you can do very poor on some races, on some stages, uh, and win a few and still beĀ
near the front. You don’t have to win every stage to win the tour to France. There’s been stagesĀ
in the past where races where the Tour to France winner has not won a stage. When Enderin wasĀ
in his prime, he would win the time trials. He wouldn’t win one road stage, but he was soĀ
dominant in the time trial. He would just hang with the time the climbers as best he could andĀ
absolutely destroy them in the time trial. Like he would beat them by 12 15 minutes in a timeĀ
trial. And they had more time trials back then, so it suited his style. Uh guys, looking at theĀ
front here now, they did just show Jonathan Milan and Benium riding side by side. They haven’tĀ
been through the sprint point yet. So we will see Bingham and Jonathan Milan, Tim MerlierĀ
going head-to-head here. Up the road here, this should be Nelson Oliver from Portugal forĀ
Movar. He is trying to represent Movar today as best he can. Group two is Vanderpool group withĀ
Vanard and Simmons. Uh the sprinter Arnold Dele. Uh and first place group is our fiveĀ
breakaway artists. Three have gone since the very beginning. Actually, I’m going to lookĀ
and see who got the rest of the points. So yeah,Ā Ā  10 points are actually gone. 10 positions. Oh,Ā
and this is really weird. They’ve got Milan, Germay. So Milan did finish ahead of GermayĀ
there. However, if you look at the live tracking, they’re not there yet. So, looking at this liveĀ
point, that’s really weird. So, unless they’re not showing them right, and those guys have goneĀ
up the road. Nope, they have not gone up the road.Ā Ā  Here’s Jonathan Milan here. Uh, it’s saying heĀ
hasn’t gone through the sprint point yet. The race commentators here or the data coming through saysĀ
Milan got four points. Germal got three. Well, that’s interesting, isn’t it? Abrahamson was atĀ
the front there before. That was the UNX rod. HeĀ Ā  did get it. Ballerini for a Stana was was right onĀ
his wheel. Probably like a quarter wheel length. Uh second place Schmidt right and Burgdoro. That’sĀ
our front five. Simmons got uh the next one, Arnold Dei, Bonderpool, Bonard, and Laurance.Ā
Uh they’ve given Olivera 11th place points down to 15. So that’s all the points there will be.Ā
However, I don’t know how that’s happened because we haven’t gotten there yet. Very strange. So,Ā
this is live live data you’re seeing right here. Okay, back to the chat, guys. And I think I willĀ
zip for coffee after this one. I like looking at this way the best. Uh guys, going to get superĀ
interesting now because we are getting to ourĀ Ā  rollers, the punchy part of the course. Remember,Ā
there is 1750 mters in climbing. Uh, four climbs, four launching points. You can see on the profile,Ā
too. There’s other points that aren’t classified.Ā Ā  There’s three hills here that are not classified.Ā
Uh, I would say any one of those is a cat 4. This one here is probably a cat 3. I’d say this guyĀ
here is a cat 3. So, we’ve got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven locations where anyoneĀ
could go on the break and try to get away. Um, so yeah, Jonas won’t bring back any time today.Ā
Uh, the GC will probably stay exactly locked in as as it is right now. It will eitherĀ
be a breakaway win or sprint win. Uh, which means Tatty and the GC guys will beĀ
hanging back. They they do not want to beĀ Ā  near the sprinters. It’s way too dangerousĀ
for them. Looking back at the Pelaton, I still see a lot of work by groupĀ
BMA FDJ and Alpson’s up there now. Oh, sorry. It’s Israel Premier. Israel Premier hasĀ
two riders on the front now. Another team that needs something big at this tour. Uh, IsraelĀ
Premier. uh is one of the teams right now that I think is not a world tour team. They earnĀ
wild cards to get to the World Tour races. Uh but I think they’re probably going to get theirĀ
world tour status back at the end of this cycle. And yep, the Mobile Star Riders trying to get backĀ
to the break. Thanks, Robert. Robert, you’re number two in the uh chat standings today. OliverĀ
Oliviera gets 11th in the sprint since there are two groups of five, right? Yep. He’ll get 11thĀ
if we look back. Good point there, Colonel. I do want to show what you’re talking about toĀ
everyone, just so you know. 11th point placeĀ Ā  here for Oliv Oliviera. Keep saying that wrong,Ā
guys. Five points. Uh, two groups of five have already absorbed them. I still never saw the uhĀ
actual point where they went through on the live track and they’ll be through it now, but I hadĀ
those results way before. So that tells me that even this is delayed here, which I thought wasĀ
maybe this is the most live version. It’s almost 31 degrees Celsius. It is 31 degrees CCelsiusĀ
now. Uh riders at the front have the uh the moto with them with the cold drinks. So they’ll beĀ
just popping over there to get their cold water bottles. I wonder what’s in those bottles. I’veĀ
always thought about that. Is it just straightĀ Ā  up water? Is it like by a water sponsor at theĀ
tour? Is it like a Power Aid? a Gatorade. I’m thinking straight water. Probably straight waterĀ
cuz they are pouring it over their heads. Could you imagine pouring Gatorade over your head? YouĀ
forget which bottle it’s in. You just all stickyĀ Ā  for the rest of the race. I’d love it. Love that.Ā
Uh Pete saying Sports Night used to broadcast a tour until Flow Sports Flow Bikes bought theĀ
race. Now you need a subscription to watch it.Ā Ā  Exactly. I remember it used to always be free forĀ
I don’t know how many years. Uh Outdoor Life and watching some of these old videos, Outdoor LifeĀ
Network, which became Versus, they actually inĀ Ā  one of these old videos launched the announcementĀ
of the new channel branding versus they’re long gone and dead now. Uh Discovery Channel showed itĀ
for years. Sportsnet showed it. Uh now everything you got to buy rights for everything now. RightsĀ
for this, right? Uh makes it almost impossible to catch it. So, I’m glad you guys can join meĀ
here and catch it here. Watch it all go down. Uh,Ā Ā  as most of you are probably at work anyways. Uh,Ā
coming up next year, I think what I’m seeing now, they just show showed Olivia just getting caughtĀ
by the Pelaton there. So, that call has beenĀ Ā  made and I’m seeing that on screen here, too. 42Ā
seconds back to the Vanderpool group. You notice I’ve changed my pronunciation. Uh, I forget whoĀ
it was in the actual pronunciation because you’re going to say a lot is this. They’re going toĀ
catch him in these rolling hills. VanderpoolĀ Ā  and Vout are so strong. They’re going to makeĀ
the catch in these little bumps coming up. Could we see a Matchu win today, guys? I think ifĀ
Machu has any lead in these bumps, he’s going all out at the finish. Uh be it all depends how farĀ
they get ahead. Guys, the Vanderpool group has a two-minute lead almost right now. So, that’sĀ
really interesting. They’re bringing that gap down. The front five might be thinking, “Yeah, weĀ
need some more horsepower up here. Just watching a lot of wind from yesterday year.” Um, Pete, whereĀ
you from? You’re knowledgeable at Canada TV. So, you’re obviously Canadian, too. Colonel RPG.Ā
Yeah, but time trials back then lasted 50,Ā Ā  dude. Exactly. Exactly. Time trials in the oldĀ
days. I’ve saw some in the past. 85 kilometer individual time trial like and they startedĀ
shortening them and again this is my little wacky way of thinking because I’m probably a betterĀ
time trials than I am a climber. They shortenedĀ Ā  the time triers be time trials because theyĀ
hurt the climbers too much. The climbers would get decimated on the time trials. they would loseĀ
like 10, 12, 15 minutes per time trial and they’d have multiple time trials per tour. They tried toĀ
balance out all the disciplines of cycling. Now it’s all gone from time traveling. There’s veryĀ
little of it. Uh and on the counter side, they haven’t shortened the climbs. They didn’t say,Ā
“No, we’re not doing montu and aldue anymore.”Ā Ā  You big guys, you have to do them as well. So,Ā
it’s gone back to the climbers now big time. There’s no way to gain that much time in a timeĀ
trial to beat the climbers, but the climbs are so long and brutal, which we all want, that climbersĀ
can take half an hour out of a time trials on one climb. So, it’s definitely in favor of the betterĀ
climbers now. It’s just the way it is these days. Uh, Robert saying, “Ran across a woman out in theĀ
wild wearing world champion stripes. I compliment her on her beautiful jersey, then mentionedĀ
that only world champions should wear it. She was a legit age group world champion. Gul. SoĀ
like she was seriously a world champion. Did you get the name? Uh Muzzi Muzzy here’s asking can youĀ
show us the video? Dude, can’t show you the video. I can show you some highlights when they give themĀ
to me. This would have been a really good stage to have Bike Terror running for this one. Uh to showĀ
you all the groups going, but dudes it’s going toĀ Ā  be even better tomorrow for Hotcom. Uh reallyĀ
excited to show you that. I’m really excited to show Bike Terror to the world. Um, what youĀ
can do inside from home instead of just sitting and watching this. You can ride it, too. Uh, youĀ
don’t have to do the whole stage, guys. A lot of these programs out there, you just do one climbĀ
or two climbs or you do We’re not pros. We’re not 20 years old. Uh, I think 99% of the people hereĀ
are not 20 years old. So, you do a 30 40k section of the climb. Uh there’s there’s a hoton climbĀ
on Ruby right now. There’s a hoton climb on Zift right now, but you’re not going to do the the 130Ā
kilometers before it, whatever it may be. Yeah, dude. Love to show you the video. I’ll show youĀ
the highlights and my interpretation of what’sĀ Ā  going on. Uh showing video is a no no. I’m a goodĀ
boy. No copyright strike strike here, man. You’re going to have to pay for a subscription somewhere.Ā
Um just responding to Brooke here. Thanks, Jeff. No, Brooke. Jonas will not be allowed toĀ
get into a breakaway. If you joined a break,Ā Ā  then the other guys would attack the break. Yeah.Ā
When they see a GC guy going up the road. So, Brooke, I know you understand this. If they seeĀ
anyone that’s slightly dangerous going up the road, it’d be like, “Well, you know what? He’sĀ
only 30 seconds behind us overall. We can’t letĀ Ā  them go. All of the other GC guys would startĀ
working together to bring him back.” And then there’s always the fear of, okay, my breakawayĀ
attempt that I went on, they just pulled it backĀ Ā  and I’m tired now. And so then you’re 30 secondsĀ
if you’re really tired. What if you slip off the back and now you lose more time to them? So it’sĀ
so hard to decide when to go on your attacks. I know a lot of people have been that way aboutĀ
Yumbo, sorry, Visma Lisa Bike. And I’m like, it’s not it’s not like having a gas engine. YouĀ
don’t just floor the accelerator and then okay, that didn’t happen. I’ll do it again and getĀ
the exact same result. They’re human beings. They feel different every day. Uh the energyĀ
reserves aren’t the same every day. They mightĀ Ā  have had a bad burrito. You just don’t know. UhĀ
uh Colonel RPG, their pronunciation is closer to Olivea than Oliviera. Okay, that’s what I thought.Ā
I I think I was saying Olivera at the beginning,Ā Ā  so I’m going to stick with Olive then. UhĀ
Portuguese is tricky. Yeah, I would have no idea, man. No idea. Summit Odyssey is saying it’s dope.Ā
I’m not sure what’s dope, but it’s dope. Uh, okay. He’s talking about the water bottles.Ā
Yeah, because Jeff says right after it’s straight delicious EPO water. Just take that allĀ
in, folks. Uh, John Chad’s here. Good morning, John. Hey, John. How’s the camping/musicfest?Ā
John’s away with his son and daughter. Uh, John’s already got his son, Logan. Oh, what’sĀ
Logan’s name? I think it’s Red One. Red Bunny one or something like that over on R. So John uh racesĀ
rides with me over on Ruby and his son’s already riding at 15 and they are preparing for the tourĀ
to donut uh a local event. I don’t think it’s in I think John’s in Wisconsin. I think it’s theĀ
next state over wherever that is. Um but John’s here. He’s away this weekend. John, I thought youĀ
said you couldn’t make the the stream. Are youĀ Ā  watching on your phone? Are you training in theĀ
parking lot on your trainer? Uh, Robert Belgian TV showing oneonone of Fletcher stage one. Oh, IĀ
love that one. His victory salute. Yep. Doing the arrow. Out of out of the quiver. Doing the arrow.Ā
Love it. I Dude, I totally remember that watching that live. I don’t know how many years. ThatĀ
seems like that was 20 years ago. Maybe it’s less. Jeff saying, “Yeah, time trials are reallyĀ
short now, dude. Race me around the block.”Ā Ā  I do like the time. I think I like them moreĀ
than ever now just because maybe that I’m back into cycling and it’s what I’m better at. Um, youĀ
know, I always say I like to say all the time, I’m a full-size guy. I’m not I don’t have the physiqueĀ
of a pesky lightweight climber. And I’m and I’m absolutely fine with that. I rather be a full-sizeĀ
guy. Okay, guys. This is getting interesting now,Ā Ā  too. We’re down to 30 seconds. Uh, we are hittingĀ
the hills now. In fact, we’re f through the f we’re getting to the first bump now. ThroughĀ
the first bump. Our five riders. I don’t think there’ll be too much of a battle here for this.Ā
45.7 there. And I’m at 40. I’m only 400 meters off. I need Flow Bikes to show me something. AndĀ
in fact, it’s not Flow Bikes. It’s the World Tour feed, guys. All these feeds from all over theĀ
world, they’re all showing the same coverage. So Peacock, Flow Bikes, they’re all getting theyĀ
don’t have their own camera crews out there. It’s the world tour feed. It’s what provided by whoeverĀ
runs the tour to France. They provide the feeds. They provide the rights. Israel Premier TechchĀ
really present on the front right now. So the leaders have gone through the top of the climb.Ā
I’m watching the Pelaton only because they are notĀ Ā  showing me who went through first there. MostlyĀ
Alpason and Israel premier tech guys up here. Uh, I’m seeing at least six Israel premercĀ
riders on the front. They finally got me back to the front, so I can see this go down.Ā
Mororrow Schmidt sitting on the front of thisĀ Ā  group. Less than 300 meters to the top of thisĀ
climb. There’s only one point available. Uh, there is a bar victorious rider here who willĀ
probably want to steal the point to take it away from anyone getting it to attack Lenny MartineĀ
Martinez. Unix rider there, the Estana rider, and the total energies rider. I think they’reĀ
just gonna let the bar ring rider ride through here. 7% gradient here, guys. He’s 100 meters toĀ
go. Sometimes that’s how it happens. It’s like, okay, man. They kind of know like theĀ
dynamics of the pack, the field. Okay, let him roll through because his guy has got theĀ
highest points so far. Like, just let him have it. If you don’t let him have it, he may notĀ
work with you later on down the road. So, yep,Ā Ā  they gave it to the bobbering victorious rider.Ā
Zero attacks, zero effort behind anyone there. Uh, the chasing group of five is virtually right onĀ
them now. It says 26 seconds. Uh, they’re looking at the banner now. They’re going to catch themĀ
here right away. Vanderpool and uh Vanart in the same group at the front, guys. Pelaton is uh twoĀ
minutes behind Vanderpool. Okay, guys. You might have just given it to him. You might have justĀ
given it to him. They’re letting him go again. Interesting stuff here, guys. Okay. Yeah, theĀ
Pelaton’s going to have to work like crazy toĀ Ā  bring it back at the end with the sprintĀ
groups because if I look at the rankings right now in the GC after stage 10, yeah,Ā
I know it’s like a supernova in my head. They’re saying the tour is no mercy for nobody.Ā
Come on, boys. Come on. That’s the Sudal, guys. But I’m doing my Vizma voice. Uh,Ā
yeah. So, Machu is way out of the top now. He lost a lot of time in the last stage.Ā
I just wanted to see where he was overall. 26 seconds. I It’s going to come back togetherĀ
soon. Looking forward to this seeing this happen. Um, yeah. Yeah. So, Robert, I really rememberĀ
that uh one on 20 of Fletcher win. Totally remember it. Like watching it live SaturdayĀ
morning. It seemed like it was 20 years ago. Uh R Stanley here, dude. Oklahoma rocks. Okay.Ā
I feel like the tour is such a massive world event that it should be on ABC or CBS orĀ
a major network similar to the Olympics.Ā Ā  Yeah. Like back in the day it was. Uh thenĀ
it all changed. Like it originally was I think on ABC Wild World of Sports. I’d catch 15Ā
minutes of it every Sunday. That’s all I’d see. Uh second group there. I think Fred Wright’sĀ
in that group. Yeah, I think they gave uh Oh,Ā Ā  no. He’s not in that group. Okay. But yeah,Ā
tons of work by Premier Techch at the front. It looks like they got the entire team at theĀ
front right now. I wonder what their strategyĀ Ā  is today. Are they going to send someone flyingĀ
soon? And then it’s So, it’s all premier tech. Uh, okay. Maybe a couple Alpas riders. Looks atĀ
the front eight to nine. There’s probably sixĀ Ā  Premier Techch riders. A couple of Alpson ridersĀ
and then EF sitting there. All of EF’s there. Uh, Ben Healey’s there. More Alpas sandwich. AndĀ
then the Visma team. Very hard to spot Tatty right now. The white jerseys and the gray jerseysĀ
from a distance kind of blend into each other. Ah, this I love these kinds of questions, dude.Ā
This is a good one uh from Tony C here. Tony, thanks for being here. Question in France.Ā
Would you rather finish GC in seventh? NoĀ Ā  stage wins. Finish GC in 50th but with aĀ
stage win. This is a great one for a poll, dude. Be the top domestique forĀ
a GC winner. Be the director of a GC winner. Dude, that’s a goodĀ
poll question, dude. personally. Well, I guess if you’re the top domestique forĀ
a GC winner, you’re on the winning team. YourĀ Ā  team won the tour to France. So, that’s probablyĀ
the ultimate goal. Uh the director, the directors are super important, but obviously UAE probablyĀ
would be nothing without Tatty. They would be just another really good team, not the super team. UhĀ
finished 50th. Yeah, winning a stage of the tour is pretty incredible. Yeah, I would say be theĀ
best guy on the GC winners team because you’re going to take in all that glory. You probablyĀ
get to be involved with the team presentationĀ Ā  at the end. The best team will probably be the GCĀ
winners team. So, you’ll do the podium finish at the end. Your teammate won the tour to France. IĀ
would probably go that then I would go finish 50th but win a stage. That that’s stage glory forever.Ā
But no one’s going to remember that you finished 50th. This one’s good. Then I would probably goĀ
finish seventh, but no stage wins. It’s good, but you didn’t win a stage a win. Like top 10Ā
finish is like that’s what these guys want.Ā Ā  That’s why at the beginning of the streamĀ
today, I spent so much time talking about all those riders down to 15th place cuz I thinkĀ
10th through 15th, they’re going to be battling to the end because if you notice the rankings,Ā
I’m going to do it right now for you here,Ā Ā  guys. Let’s just go back here. Um, here we’llĀ
go to points for a second. Let’s roll down. Huh, it only goes down to 10. Let’s take a look atĀ
the climbers jersey. 10 seems to be important. Let’s go to the yellow jersey. 10 seems to beĀ
important. After 10, it’s not so much that it doesn’t matter. It’s just kind of like that’sĀ
the standard layout. They always show the top 10. Everyone else is kind of forgotten about. So yeah,Ā
for me, winning a stage, winning the tour with my teammates would be number one. Number two wouldĀ
be uh stage win. Number three would be seventh place with no wins. Number four director John saysĀ
when he’s sleeping he’s I’m 20 and a pro. Love it. Uh Robert’s saying good question.Ā
Stage win for me. So Robert, he’s more of the solo rider. He wants theĀ
victory for himself. I love it. Okay. Uh okay. Tony C. I do not disagree with you, butĀ
hardly anyone in my daily life in the souththeast USA even knows tour to France is happening.Ā
Yeah, dude. Yeah, it’s a gigantic event, but in the States and parts of Canada, no oneĀ
even Yeah, they have no idea what’s going on. My younger days, I think I would take the 50thĀ
and enjoy the stage win big time. But in my latters now, I pick the director becauseĀ
cars on getting over the mountains. Okay,Ā Ā  so everyone’s got a different idea here. I’mĀ
thinking I would I would want to be I would want to be the Jaw Almeida to Tatty Pagachar.Ā
I would want to be well maybe Matteo this year. I would want to be Matteo to Tatty.Ā
Sorry to Yonas. Um be like his lieutenant, the guy that helped him win the tour to France.Ā
You know, at the end afterwards when he gets all that cash and all the sponsorship,Ā
he’s handing out Rolexes to everyone. Uh,Ā Ā  notice these guys. You notice at the top end,Ā
guys are all wearing really nice watches. I love it. Love me a good watch. Let me know if youĀ
guys like watches. I know you do. I know you do. John St. Camp was awesome. Music was better. Uh,Ā
Sylvia, she’s already calling it. Sylvia is going out immediately. Vanderpool for the stage. IĀ
agree. 26 seconds now. They’re still holding them off, guys. I’ll get back to this here. WeĀ
got our front group of five. The original three.Ā Ā  They were joined by Ballerini and Fred Wright.Ā
Again, you’ll notice today, smaller teams, guys. Smaller teams. Vanderpool group. Uh, VanderpoolĀ
is a world tour team. Trek is a world tour team, but Quinn need Quinn’s desperate to get a stageĀ
win. Uh, we’ve got and I don’t know how Venard’s allowed up there. He is far behind. Uh, andĀ
the lot rider on De Laurance there is too. So, I’m expecting this to come back together hereĀ
two minutes back from the Vanderpool group to the Pelon. So, our stage winners are probablyĀ
in this front group of 10 unless the sprinters get everyone working at the front. IĀ
think the GC groups are like, “Okay,Ā Ā  we’ve had our little battle.” That was kindĀ
of insane earlier before the sprint point, how they were all attacking. I think they wereĀ
just having some fun. Let’s let’s just seeĀ Ā  what happens. Uh it’s up to the GC groupĀ
now to pull them back. Having said that, I’m looking at TV here. Uh and over that lastĀ
little climb, we’re going up the Cot Coronosak Corona. Uh it’s all Israel Primate Tech was allĀ
I premier. Now it’s down to two IP riders and the entire EF team. So EF team there is protecting.Ā
They’re doing a lot of the work up front. There is Ben Healey there right now. Uh he’s sandwichedĀ
between two premier tech riders at the front, his team and two premier tech riders at theĀ
back. So they’re up to something here today, too. Uh Tesla is asking where Benny is, I think. FerrisĀ
to Benny. Is that where’s Binnie? Uh and then I’ve got Italo Silva asking Ka Esta and Frene probably.Ā
I think that means you’re probably asking what’s going on at the front, dude. Talo Silva. WeĀ
got five riders in a breakaway on the front holding out. Currently 2 minutes and 21 secondsĀ
ahead of the Pelon. And just noticing here, green jersey has been discarded out the back,Ā
guys. Green jersey out the back. And good news here. Well, not good news because I like the guy.Ā
Jonathan Milan is there. I noticed Con. I saw this yesterday, too, when Jonathan was out the back.Ā
Cons hangs out there back with him. I think he’sĀ Ā  the designated guy. When Jonathan falls out, youĀ
need to get back. Gotta help him. Pavl Bitner, the other sprinter there, T-Bonice and Costu.Ā
So, we have five riders out the back. Let’sĀ Ā  take a little look here, guys. See how this isĀ
happening. So, they’re they’re getting hurt on these hills. They’re getting hurt on these hills.Ā
Bingham is up ahead here. So, Milan stage victory today is looking less than like pos less thanĀ
likely possible now. Uh especially since he’s fallen out the back. Uh, Bingum will be with theĀ
Pelaton. Bingium seems to be able to do a betterĀ Ā  job hanging with the Pelaton longer and andĀ
again that goes to their their strengths. Uh, no one’s touching Milan right now. Actually,Ā
Merlier is up there too. So, really good job for Tim Merier staying up there. Sidebyside dragĀ
race, all out power, no positioning. I think Merlier has the the most horsepower. Sorry,Ā
Milan has the most horsepower. then it would probably Merlier and then Bingan. I don’t thinkĀ
he has the top end that Jonathan Milan does. Uh but Jonathan’s got himself in a bad spot rightĀ
now to be involved in the sprint finish today. Uh Summit Odyssey saying I know what you’re saying.Ā
Uh Floike. Maybe you spelled flowike twiceĀ Ā  there. The first letter twice. I know what you’reĀ
doing. It’s okay. Uh, bring it back to TSN. Yeah, dude. I understand. Dude, I I stopped my FlowĀ
Bike membership for a while. Uh, to be honest, I only got it back because I decidedĀ
I was going to do this. Uh, and guys,Ā Ā  it’s been a huge success. Um, I’m going to keepĀ
doing it. I’m going to keep doing it. I’m going to do every race I can until I see you guysĀ
saying, “Uh, we don’t watch this anymore.” And then I’ll just pack it in. Uh Tony C, I canĀ
see in the near future live cameras on all of the top riders where you can watch your favoriteĀ
full-time NASCAR does this now with drivers. Yeah, dude. I guess the only way they can hold out maybeĀ
is they’ll say they’ll argue wait. Obviously, if you’re in a 2,000lb NASCAR with driver fuelĀ
loads, adding 400 grams is not a big deal. But to a rider, they would probably lose their minds. ButĀ
yeah, probably if they can get the camera down toĀ Ā  like say one gram and have the UCI enforce it andĀ
then charge people access to different cameras. Oh man. Okay, we I guess we’ll never watch the tourĀ
of France again. Uh okay, Colonel MG Vanderpool is back in 30th. So he’s no threat to the GC today,Ā
guys. Uh five riders at the front. The Vanderpool group has lost a bit of time here. Uh I’m I’mĀ
surprised that Vanderpool and Bart cannot bring them back right now. 37 seconds. Uh, but noticingĀ
that the front group is more on the descent, the downhill. Uh, these guys are just finishingĀ
cresting over a bit of a a hilly area. They’re going to start bombing downhill. That they shouldĀ
bring that time. It’s out to 40 seconds now. So, they’re going to have to make a big effort toĀ
try to get back on now. I’m watching the timeĀ Ā  drop right now. It went 40 seconds. 38 36 35Ā
seconds. They’re coming down a hill. So the accordion effect is coming back like this now.Ā
The front guys are going to start climbing. Watch their time start dropping. So they’re going toĀ
start a little bump. Going to show you here. Uh let’s get right back to it. UhĀ
hard to see there, but there’s a bump right here that’s unclassifiedĀ
that I would say is a category 4.Ā Ā  So, group one is technically climbing aĀ
category 4 climb right now. Uh, 35 seconds, 36 seconds. I It should come down to under 30,Ā
I would imagine. Uh, and then the boys are going to start getting radio communicationĀ
from the teams. Now is the time to go. Uh, Matt Perau here. Okay. Where’d Matt go?Ā
Sorry, Matt. I lost you here. It’s sad that it’s only on Flow Bikes. We need it backĀ
on TSN. Yeah, Matt, I remember those days,Ā Ā  too. Matt’s from uh Eastern Canada. Matt, youĀ
in Ontario or Quebec? I forget. I think you’re on the Ontario side or you’re the very EnglishĀ
side. You said you’re the English version of Pro,Ā Ā  not the French version. Need to get theĀ
average casual fan back to watching. Yeah, dude, that’s true. Like, I know people that justĀ
watch casually. Oh, yeah. I watched a few stagesĀ Ā  and they don’t know anything about cycling,Ā
but they like the spectacle of it. They like the scenery. Uh, okay, Vizma. But with racingĀ
like this, it will be a mega mega hard day in the final. The hardest part still to come.Ā
Try to do it saving a little bit of energy,Ā Ā  guys. So, they’re expecting it to get crazy at theĀ
front. Watching again four Premier Tech riders at the front and the entire EF team is up there.Ā
Uh they’re doing all the work today, which is expected. Uh Premier Tech is probably trying toĀ
keep it hard right now. They’ve got something in mind for later in the stage. We still have 33.6Ā
km to go. And I’m really glad that my feed here is very close on that. Uh it’s very hard watchingĀ
here, watching here, especially when I know what’s happened here and then I’m trying to watchĀ
there. That’s why when I’m doing the sprints,Ā Ā  guys, I’m kind of avoiding that and just callingĀ
it how I see it, how I would normally do it. Machu Vanderpool is worthy of some kind ofĀ
jersey. He makes for great TV. There’s a bike race happening when that dude breaks because he doesn’tĀ
do those fake brakes. Pool is deadly powerful. Oh yeah, dude. Favorite cyclist. Back in the oldĀ
days, they used to have like the combinationĀ Ā  jersey. So, it was like a mesh mash of jersey. ItĀ
had a white splotch, a red splot, a green splash, and a yellow splash. I think it had a polka dotĀ
as well. I think it disappeared in the ‘9s. It was kind of like for the best overall rider, whichĀ
I think is important. They should bring that back, too. They should bring that back. Uh, who’s theĀ
best rider ranked in all the categories, you know, because in the old days, if you were the best timeĀ
trialist, you could win the tour to France, handsĀ Ā  down. Uh, then it became if you were the bestĀ
climber, you could win the hands the time the tour to France, hands down. Uh, so they’re trying toĀ
develop it more. I think right now it leads more to uh shorter, faster racing. And for climbers,Ā
time traveling has been forgotten about. They’ve eliminated the teen chime trial alto together.Ā
Uh I hope when it comes back it sticks around. Five at the front, guys. The time is coming downĀ
just like I thought it would. We’re at 25 secondsĀ Ā  right now. And again, this all goes through theĀ
bumps. The first group is on the bump ahead. The other guys are in the little valley behindĀ
them. They’re probably able to see them at times. Uh okay. Okay, I like this here. Uh, who’sĀ
this guy? Uh, Geyser, I guess. Who’s in the lead group? Lead group, dude. We’ve hadĀ
three guys from the beginning. Burgau,Ā Ā  Mororrow Schmidt, and Abrahamson for UNOX.Ā
And then about halfway through, Fred Wright, and Dan David Ballerini caught upĀ
to form a group of five. There’s aĀ Ā  second group of five chasing. Check thisĀ
out. Vanderpool, Quinn Simmons, Wenard, Laurance, and Arnold Dele. Really good toĀ
see the Lee up here too representing lotto. Uh yeah, that green jersey group is falling behindĀ
hard now. Okay, the green jersey group is growing rapidly, guys. After the rest day, maybe the legsĀ
are a little bit sore. The rest day is really hard on the riders. That’s why they still go ride twoĀ
or three hours on the rest day. Guys, I rode 45 minutes yesterday and that was enough. These guysĀ
are doing two to three hours at a minimum. Uh, but coming back from rest day, it can be reallyĀ
hard. If you watch a lot of interviews and youĀ Ā  follow cycling a long time, most of the cyclistsĀ
would say they don’t even want a rest day. I’m seeing an Arca rider here getting a bike change.Ā
Trying to check the number hopefully. Okay, it’s is a rider Armory Capio Arca B&B. I thoughtĀ
it was Kevin Vocal on it first there. Uh, I guess if he had a mechanical, there would haveĀ
been another teammate there. 45 riders in the back group right now. Jonathan Milan’s there.Ā
Bingham’s surviving in the main pelaton. So, Bingham’s doing a really good job staying away.Ā
The problem is he needs to get to the front end toĀ Ā  win the stage. Maybe he’s just hoping to get moreĀ
points than score some points and Milan will score none today. Uh because the points do pay out quiteĀ
a ways down. 50 points for first place today, guys. I think 30 for second. Uh, and they go downĀ
to probably 20th place today. So, Bingham could have a chance at those points. Um, Robert asking,Ā
“Was it Carlos Sasser whose victory celebrations was putting a baby’s pacifier in his mouth?”Ā
Were Dude, that’s what I was thinking. Yeah, puts a baby’s pacifier in his mouth. The one IĀ
was thinking of actually, Robert, was this one. Why do they all do that? What’s that from? isĀ
I’m thinking it’s from another sport. But whyĀ Ā  would you be why would you be shushing everyone ifĀ
you win the stage? Yeah, one Antonio Fletcher. It doesn’t get any better than that. The shootingĀ
the aerial arrow Fletcher guy means Fletcher’sĀ Ā  guys means arrow. So it’s it’s really cool. UhĀ
yeah, I never like that finish either. Why would you have a baby pacifier? You carried that theĀ
whole way just to do that? Not memorable to me. Uh yeah, Matt saying win a stage for that. Yeah, thatĀ
really good question that Tony asked. And Tony,Ā Ā  I I didn’t make the poll, but yeah, guys, shootĀ
some more poll ideas at me. Um you can jump guys tomorrow. So, I think you can leave commentsĀ
in the live stream feed like the even if I’m not live, you can go in there and drop a commentĀ
in there. pretty sure cuz I’ve done it withoutĀ Ā  being streaming live. If you’ve got any coolĀ
polls like that, that really helps out guys. So, I love it guys. 370 people, 323 watching now.Ā
It’s bouncing up and down. Uh, so Matt saying win a stage hands down. When finished 50th,Ā
win a stage. Nobody remembers seventh. Okay, I do agree with that, but seventh looks good onĀ
your Palomares. Uh, so yeah, winning a stage for me would be number two. I would rather be on theĀ
winning team as the dude that helped the otherĀ Ā  guy win. Like the main guy, like be the GeorgeĀ
Hen Cappy to uh Lance Armstrong. That’s who I that would be me. Then I’d win a stage and thenĀ
I would finish seventh being the director. Yeah, come on. I would be that guy though, Greca. UhĀ
Jeff saying, “Personally, I would rather finish seventh GC with no wins because it means I’mĀ
getting a GC paycheck.” That’s true. And the team wants dudes in the top 10. Most people aren’tĀ
going to remember who finished eighth or ninth, but in all the stats and UCI points, uhĀ
rankings, it’s recognized. Then you can say to potential sponsors, “Hey guys, we got aĀ
potential GC contender.” That goes a long ways for sponsorship. What does that mean? It meansĀ
you’re going to see your name more and moreĀ Ā  every day. Our guy is going to be talked aboutĀ
every day if he really is a GC contender. So, that’s why I thought to that would be my numberĀ
two pick. Uh GC 7th. Uh yep. Uh Colonel RPG here, dude. You’re good with your cycling stuff. UhĀ
yeah, Almighty is gaining notoriety as a superĀ Ā  domestic. Could mean good things. Yeah, he couldĀ
be leading his own his own team hands down, guys. Looking back here again now. 22nd gap group.Ā
22nd gap back to the Vanderpole group. Okay, looks like things are changing in theĀ
front. Premier Tech has disappeared,Ā Ā  but uh Groupama FDJ now sitting on the front withĀ
the EF boys. Then I’m seeing some Vizma riders and a lot of white jerseys. So I got to think that’sĀ
the UAE team just hanging out at the front,Ā Ā  keeping Tatty out of trouble. RememberĀ
guys, if you’re new to this, they won’t be fighting for the yellow jersey today. Uh theĀ
GC contenders, the guys that actually want toĀ Ā  win the tour to France will be just stayingĀ
safe. Their days are coming tomorrow. Uh Sastra also one of the most forgettable tourĀ
champions. CSC Tuscali, I really like the team. Uh I think it was CSC Tuscali that introducedĀ
Cerello to the world. really. So, Survell is a Canadian brand. I think it only was developed inĀ
the late 90s. Uh, it hasn’t been around very long. Okay. Team Radio Lotto Champion. Champion.Ā
You’re going to get a top result today. So,Ā Ā  they’re cheering on they must be cheering onĀ
there must be a lot rider in the front. Oh, I think they’re cheering on Arnold. They’reĀ
cheering on Arnold Dele because I see himĀ Ā  riding with Quinn Simmons here. So, they’re reallyĀ
encouraging, guys. See, that’s how important this stuff is. just like they’re constantly in theirĀ
ears cheering them on. This guy is gonna get to the front. And you know what? If Arnold Lee getsĀ
to the front, uh he might be one of the fastestĀ Ā  sprinters left here. Like I’d say he’s slightlyĀ
more of a sprinter than Matthew Vanderpole. Uh Vanderpole, but if Vanderpole goes at a kilometerĀ
from the finish, Arnold won’t keep up. If it gets la left to the last little bit, you never know.Ā
Uh I would give a slight edge to Arnold Delete if he’s on form. Uh, vote Van Art there, too. Uh, heĀ
does have an incredible sprint, but it’s not the best sprinter in the world sprint. It’s kind of aĀ
long range sprint. Again, it depends on the day,Ā Ā  too. Dawn’s back from kickboxing. Hopefully didn’tĀ
crack anyone in the head there, Dawn. Ruben, dude. Bro, love it, dude. Reuben’s supportingĀ
Joey’s birthday today, guys. Thank you so much, Reuben. Uh, guys, Reuben’s been with me forever.Ā
Forever. I think Ruben was one of the very very first supporters of my channel. Uh he’s my BelgianĀ
bro. He’s recovering from a horrible crash he had. Uh think he’s really struggling with it, butĀ
he’s watching the channel. So I love it. Reuben uh Natto Res is asking how about Bingham.Ā
Bingham is still in the yellow jersey group. Could be in contention for points. I’m gonnaĀ
look back here again. It’s a good question,Ā Ā  dude. Thanks for asking that. So, we’re seeingĀ
Jonathan Milan back here. Tim is back there with him. So, I think Benam is the only one. I’m goingĀ
to have a quick scan here. Phil Bow House is back here. I’m looking for an intermareteer groupĀ
uh rider here. So, they’re pretty easy to see because that’s great. There’s Paige. Rex Rooch isĀ
back here. He was hurt really bad a few days ago. Had a huge crash. Anyways, Bingham’s not in thisĀ
group. So, Bingham is in the yellow jersey group up here. Let’s see when we can find him. I hate toĀ
say he’s here and then him not be here. Um, let’s have a quick peek here, guys. Looking, looking,Ā
looking. I got 117 riders to go through. So, if I scroll too fast, they just vanish beforeĀ
my eyes. Oh, that is bright on my face. Please stop that. That’s really bright. I got to toneĀ
that down. I feel it blinding me right now. Okay, I don’t see where Bingham is here, guys, butĀ
I’m positive he’s in this group. How hard is Oh, there he is right there. Bingam is in the 117Ā
rider Pelaton, the main group, who are uh 2 minutes and 57 seconds ahead of Jonathan Milan.Ā
So, Bingum, smart riding today. Smart riding today by Bingham. I just want to have a look. I haven’tĀ
looked at my OBS for a while. One thing I did today that helped, I turned off my circle light,Ā
the ring light. I absolutely It’s not even on. So, this is the glow off of three screens. I thinkĀ
that’s good enough. We’ve got it all figured out, folks. And this little one that I kind of turnedĀ
to Reuben, thank you so much, dude. Yeah. Again,Ā Ā  guys, Reuben has been here since day one uh of theĀ
channel. Yeah, dude. Thank you. Colonel RPG. Oh, is this catchable? Okay, I’m goingĀ
to go back here, guys. 19 seconds. I gotta think that the Vanderpool group, VoutĀ
group, Quinn Simmons is going to catch theĀ Ā  front group of five. You got to think, uh,Ā
you know, when you look at the groups power, Quinn Simmons has been a beast. Van Art, anotherĀ
beast of a rider. You think they would have the horsepower to catch the front five. Not taking anyĀ
away from these five, but if if I needed two guys to lead me out or drag me along all day, they’reĀ
in this group. Matu Vanderpool and Bo Vanard. I would pick those two right there. Like, dude, IĀ
need you to draft me all day long. We’re going toĀ Ā  go 200k. I’m not going to do anything. I’m sittingĀ
on those guys wheels all day long because I know they’ll just do it and they have the ability.Ā
Pelon 2 minutes and 15 seconds back. I think it’s gone now, guys. I think it’s gone. Uh thereĀ
will be a sprint finish for the sprinters that are trying to gain any points back. Uh big tacticalĀ
error today for Jonathan Milan by not being at the front. He might be feeling rough after and let’sĀ
just say Jonathan Milan the Trek team. Uh they should have done a better job to keep him near theĀ
front. Maybe he just can’t do it today again. And I love seeing this. Vault Vanart Machu VanderpoolĀ
riding side by side at the front taking turns. Cyclacross warriors. They’ve battled each otherĀ
for since they were teenagers in the Cyclacross world. They both graduated to the World Tour.Ā
Uh and what an impressive job they’ve done. Like superstars of the world tour for sure.Ā
Best thing that ever happened was those guysĀ Ā  coming from Cyclacross. Uh having said that, IĀ
do watch a lot of Cyclacross now, too. Uh getting into the chat again. Jeff’s asking about Bingham.Ā
Bingham’s he’s in the right spot. He’s probably going to be the best of the sprinters today, IĀ
would assume, if they can bring this back a bitĀ Ā  more. And so 10 pos Okay, guys, let’s do thisĀ
here. Uh, we’re going to come back here. Sorry, I’m getting blasted by the sun here. We’reĀ
doing the route again. Let’s just check the Too to stage. And we go to the sporting stakes.Ā
Let’s see what the bonifications are like. I know that’s a weird word. Green jersey at theĀ
end is 50th, 30 for second. Are they going to catch the front 10 riders? I don’t know.Ā
So again, it looks like it pays down to probably 15. So the first 10 spots on BignyaĀ
might be racing for seven, eight points, six points, something like that. Uh but heĀ
needs something. I said earlier he needs to get points out of the intermediate sprint.Ā
He lost one more to Jonathan Milan today. Uh Tony, a good poll question makes you reallyĀ
think about it. Thanks for your input, including chatters with variant answers. Sounds like weĀ
could make a team. Dude, Tony, send me more. Dude,Ā Ā  I Tony, you’re I’m asking you as nice as I can.Ā
Think of a good one for tomorrow and I’ll put it up for the first poll of the day tomorrow.Ā
We could even get it running tonight. So,Ā Ā  generally what I do, guys, do my thing. chores,Ā
ride my bike, skip my program I’m taking. Not doing that right now. I’m way more interested inĀ
this. Uh then I start getting ready for tomorrow. I told Joey on rest day, I’m like, I hate toĀ
complain, but it seems like a full-time job. It seems like a full-time job. Just the constant,Ā
you know, but love it. Love it. Make it my job, guys. Make it my job. Almost 400 people watchingĀ
right now, guys. Uh Gap still hold. So, these five dudes out front are doing an incredibleĀ
job holding back. Two of the strongest cycle cyclists in the Pelaton. Um, they’re holding thatĀ
gap at 26 seconds. They know if they come back, uh, they’re in big trouble. The Pelaton isĀ
2 and a half minutes behind. So, yeah, guys, the Pelaton is not catching these guys todayĀ
unless everyone gets to the front and startsĀ Ā  working. Now we’re 21 km to the finish. Using theĀ
great uh the untouchable Phil Ligot rule of thumb, you’re going to bring back one one minute forĀ
every 10 km. That’s about what the Pelaton can do. We’re 21 kilometers now out now. They haveĀ
a two and a half minute lead. So now is the time that those teams that are in the third group onĀ
the road, the yellow pel yellow jersey group, they need to light the afterburners now if theyĀ
think they’re going to have a chance of catchingĀ Ā  these guys. Uh the thing about this one is theyĀ
don’t need to catch them. There’s no one in these groups that are dangerous to them. So the fĀ
first group, lowest place rider is 53rd at 42 minutes back. and he’s only, if you look at thisĀ
here, from the front to the Pelaton, it’s uh a 3 minute and 23 second group. So that guy in theĀ
front right now, if you stop the race right now,Ā Ā  he’s still 39 minutes behind them. Uh the secondĀ
group, highest place rider is Vanderpool. He’s 28 and a half minutes back. Stop the race right now,Ā
he would still be 26 seconds behind Ben Haley. So now you can see why the pelaton might justĀ
say, “Yeah, you know what? Uh, we just remembered that the hotcom’s tomorrow and there’s anotherĀ
catwan climb there and I think there’s two otherĀ Ā  categorized climbs there. Uh, we’re getting closerĀ
to Spain. It’s only going to get hotter. Uh, maybe we just kind of take it easy now. So,Ā
it’s going to be between these two groups of five at the front. It yet to be It remains to beĀ
seen if they can catch that front group there. So yeah, Tony, again, thanks for theĀ
poll. I I got to think of some betterĀ Ā  ones for David. That was a really good oneĀ
today. Really, really good one today. Tony, I think you got a lot more good ones thanĀ
you. Uh throw them my way if you can. Yep. Robert here. French guy. Lance hangingĀ
with some big boys in that group of five. IĀ Ā  think we’re talking about the second group ofĀ
five here. Yeah, Lance is there. Yeah, totally. 52nd overall. Really good for Inos Grenaders.Ā
Uh it’s not going to be a standout tour for them. That’s just the way it is. The team isĀ
in total transition with the total energy thingĀ Ā  happened. Garren Thomas retiring. Uh their highestĀ
highest place rider right now is Carlos Rodriguez at 13th though. So I think he’s going to beĀ
fighting for one of those top 10 positions. Uh I think there’s like six or seven ridersĀ
now. They’re going to have an awesome battleĀ Ā  uh over the next week, two weeks here.Ā
We got left, not even two weeks left, guys. Okay. And you know saying this groupĀ
will take the stage, win. Be smart, be tough, and trust your instincts. And so they’reĀ
talking to the group of five, the second group. So they are talking to the Bonderpull groupĀ
here because Laurance is there. They’re the team cars are determined convinced that thisĀ
group will catch the front group of five. These guys up front must be tired, too. The frontĀ
trio have been away since the flag dropped.Ā Ā  The second the two that joined them chased forĀ
half the race to get on. These guys have all blown through a lot of energy already. Candles,Ā
matches gone. You’ve only got so much to burn, folks. Still holding 20 seconds, though.Ā
We got two little climbs left. I can seeĀ Ā  uh Vanderpool putting in a huge effort onĀ
these climbs to reel them right back in. Uh yeah, Dawn, great great com. Best domeĀ
domestique of our generation is George Henapy, US national champ. Ushered his leader to sevenĀ
tour wins. Yeah, totally, dude. Even if they didn’t get the credit. Yeah, they were all there.Ā
Those teams were so awesome. Uh George Hen Copy,Ā Ā  he’s still a super cool dude. He’s involved inĀ
everything. Uh really looking forward to seeing like the official launch of the new team. Uh itĀ
won’t be a world tour team. They’re going to have to fight their way to get to the world tour. I IĀ
hope that’s their goal. It’s probably going to beĀ Ā  like a continental team to start with and thenĀ
it’s the same as the continental level teams. They have to earn enough points in races likeĀ
they would race. So a continental continental team would race just in the states. The oneĀ
continental team I can think of right nowĀ Ā  is like pro uh is Echelon, Project Echelon.Ā
Uh that’s a team I just saw they run at the Gastan Grand Prix. They’re going to go to racesĀ
all over North America. That’s probably theirĀ Ā  area. Win points. Uh the Hen Cappy slash maybeĀ
Armstrong team, they’ll be doing the same thing to get points to get a pro card. Once you getĀ
a pro card, you could get an invite invite to one of the big races. Without a pro card, youĀ
ain’t coming. Uh it depends how big the race is. Uh some of the smaller tours will inviteĀ
Conti teams up to them. So it used to be Conti, Continental, and Pro Conti, Procontinental.Ā
Now they’ve gone world tour proc continental. Okay, so group one back down in the valley.Ā
They’ll start climbing again soon. And Vanderpool group is at 20 seconds. So I’m liking this. So IĀ
I play the the gaps on the hills. I’m seeing whatĀ Ā  the distance the time gap is now at the bottomĀ
of the hill where the Vanderpool group is coming down. They should pull more time back now becauseĀ
they’re descending more as the group ahead isĀ Ā  starting to climb. This gives them a chance toĀ
according it back down. Bring that rubber band back in. I do this when I ride my bike myself.Ā
If I see a dude behind me or I’m chasing someone, I watch the profile and going, he’s got 30Ā
seconds on me on this hill. How much will heĀ Ā  have left at the bottom of the next hill? AndĀ
I can start seeing, am I gaining or not? So, and again, it all depends on the efforts. ButĀ
if they were if they were all working equally, these guys should start bringing it down on theĀ
downhill section, just traveling at higher speeds. Uh after the Vanderpool group, VanderpoolĀ
group, it’s three minutes back to the Pelon,Ā Ā  guys. They’ve shut her down. They had theirĀ
funing games earlier. Uh and the green jersey is four minutes off the back of the Pelon. LooksĀ
like the uh Polka Dot jerseys back here, too. Lenny Martinez is back here. That’s okay. thisĀ
today didn’t really mean a lot to him. So, still hovering at 20 seconds. See what I’m getting here?Ā
Yeah, still 20 seconds into the last 20 km. The best seat in the house. Watching the tour go by,Ā
folks. What does this look like? A little VW van. What do you guys think? Speaking of which, haveĀ
you seen the new VW vans? I really like them. Uh, okay. Jeff here. Good comment, Jeff. Jeff isĀ
saying, “I hate to tell you, but review the tapeĀ Ā  on Yasper Phillips’s acceleration to the line.Ā
Nobody is as fast as Yasper. Period. Yasper is the new Mark Caendish.” Okay, I can appreciateĀ
that. I’ll have to go back and look at someone,Ā Ā  dude. Uh, see their sprints. I’ve just seenĀ
I I don’t think I actually saw Yasper’s top end speeds. And of course, that depends onĀ
how what kind of sprint finish it is. How many miles The highest speeds I’ve seen thisĀ
year has been out of uh Jonathan Milan. So, I guess we’re t we’re saying two different things,Ā
Jeeoff. You’re saying his acceleration. Yeah,Ā Ā  it could be Asper. Uh Jonathan just seems to beĀ
able to hit a higher top end. That doesn’t mean he’s going to win the stages, especially if heĀ
times it wrong. Uh, if they’re side by side doing 70k an hour, Yasper could get the jump on him andĀ
win if he times it right. Uh, Jonathan seems to be able to get 3 4K an hour more than the otherĀ
riders right now, but he’s got to time it. Today, didn’t time it right at all since he’s currentlyĀ
7 minutes and 47 seconds behind the leaders. So, yeah, different ways of looking at sprinting. SomeĀ
of it’s all out power, top end speed. Other parts of it are acceleration. If you leave the sprintĀ
late, uh, and you don’t have the acceleration, but you got the speed, that guy that’s actuallyĀ
slower than you top end might win over you. He can just accelerate, get a gap, and he wins beforeĀ
you start winding it up. Okay, watching the front group here right now. Uh they are climbing the capĀ
the Kote Devel Tulus uh category 4 climb. So it’s nothing much at all. Looks like it’s just overĀ
1.2 kilometers long. We’re only uh 15 km to the finish, guys. And yeah, the feed today is rightĀ
on track today. Uh I’m only 400 meters behind. So it’s going to be the same as before. I’ll callĀ
that into the finish. I don’t think there’ll beĀ Ā  any fight over the top for these points, too. UhĀ
but the boys behind they’re on the same climb. It is a 21 second gap. So the boys up front areĀ
doing a really good job. They they’ve got their alliance right now. They are frenemies to theĀ
end right now. Those five up front are like weĀ Ā  have to do everything possible to stay away today.Ā
They know if they get caught by Machu Vanderpool, uh Bart Quinn Simmons, they’re probably not goingĀ
to win. So here’s a chance for these five right now. You’ve got a 20% chance of winning a stage atĀ
the Tour to France. It’s like dump everything now. Bottles are getting thrown out. Gel packs.Ā
It’s getting all thrown out now, folks. Uh Tonyy’s agreeing with Don. Could not agreeĀ
with you anymore. George was the man. Yeah,Ā Ā  he really was. Yeah. Uh they do resonate here.Ā
Benny is in that uh he’s not in the lead group, but he’s with the GC. All of the other sprintersĀ
are out the back right now. All of the other bigĀ Ā  sprinters. So, Bingham has a chance to pick upĀ
some points. They’re the leftover points that are real. Remember, it pays down first to 15th.Ā
Uh I think 15th is one point. First is 50. So, you really want to be in the front. TheĀ
problem is the first 10 spots will all beĀ Ā  gone by the time Bignyang gets there.Ā
I was going to grab a coffee. I guess I’m sticking with cold coffee todayĀ
because we’ve only got 14 km to go. Oh yeah, it’s cold, but it’s delicious today. Oh, dude. I do. Robert, great point here. Robert,Ā
you’re number one in the chat today now. Oh, I’m watching, guys. Quinn Simmons is on theĀ
attack. Quinn Simmons is on the attack hereĀ Ā  over the top here. And I’m just waitingĀ
to see. Yeah, they’ve just mentioned it, too. 1647. So, yeah, I’m very live withĀ
what’s going on here right now with the tour.Ā Ā  Sometimes the stream gets behind. Quinn’sĀ
going for the points on this category 4 and I think he’s going to put in a huge attackĀ
and try to bridge back on. The others didĀ Ā  not go with him. So Quinn has a gap alreadyĀ
of 7 seconds over two of the strongest guys in the Pelaton. The other five up front areĀ
probably being told, “Hey, Quinn’s coming.” So Quinn put in a huge attack there,Ā
guys. I’m going to probably zoomĀ Ā  in a bit here. Uh just so you can seeĀ
what’s going on. They haven’t shown Oh, they are showing Quinn separate.Ā
That’s Quinn Simmons there. And so this is the Vanderpull group here. Now thatĀ
we’re so zoomed in, it’s hard to really see whereĀ Ā  they are. Uh okay. Yeah, Quinn’s over the top.Ā
I didn’t know he attacked that early. So Quinn’s going all in. He’s He really wants the stage win.Ā
So from the front right now to the Pelton 342. I’m seeing that right on TV here right now. Head ofĀ
the course. Looks like we’ve got two riders here. I think yeah, the front five are splitting up,Ā
guys. The front five have split up already in theĀ Ā  Pelon. We’ve got UnoX now taking their turn on theĀ
front because they’ve got a guy up front. EF’s up there. Alpas’s up there. Movar’s up there. Vizma’sĀ
up there on the left hand side. Yona sitting in second place uh doing the category 4 climb up theĀ
coat there. Still got one more climb to go. Quinn Simmons 18 seconds behind. So guys, this is theĀ
thing. Quinn Simmons makes the move. What if he doesn’t make it? He’s just burnt all that energyĀ
for nothing. Looks good on TV. We love it. It’s hard on him. So yeah, I think there’s a splitĀ
in these front five that they’re not showing. So, the front group of five, just lookingĀ
at the replay here, which is pretty muchĀ Ā  close to where we’re at. Uh, those five blewĀ
apart, guys. It’s got the Uno X rider and the JCO Alula rider on the front, Schmidt andĀ
Abrahamson. The three are off the back,Ā Ā  and those three are kind of splintered up asĀ
well. They’re chasing on the downhill. I’m trying to figure out if they all comeĀ
back together. Uh, yeah, right here. The other chasers have caught Ballerini. AbramsonĀ
leads the way to the summit. So, it’s evolving really quickly here, guys. Maybe I can see itĀ
better here. You can see how close we are getting to the finish now. One more climb. Group one,Ā
they’re saying it’s still Schmidt and Abrahamson. So, again, they have not been caught. Uh, whenĀ
you come back here, okay, they are showing it correctly. I wasn’t showing correctly there forĀ
a bit. What I’m seeing on my live stream is we’veĀ Ā  got two riders off the front, a UNOX rider. UhĀ
guys, they’ve never won a stage at the Tour to France. This uh Norwegian Pro Series team, they’reĀ
not even a World Tour team. Uh he is with Okay, whenever I get up there, I can’t see him. Uh MoralĀ
Schmidt for Jolula. Both these riders are way down in the standings. Can they work together over theĀ
final uh kilometers in this race and pull it off? Abramson got the points going over the top forĀ
You know X there. I think he took points earlierĀ Ā  today too. Uh probably just a couple of points inĀ
total today. Second group who are really close. Quinn Simmons, Burjido, and Fred Wright. We’veĀ
lost one rider. There was five in that front group. Simmons has bridged on. Somehow he did it.Ā
Uh, and one of the riders is gone. Further back, group three, Vanderpole, Laurance, uh, Ballerini,Ā
Arnold Delely, Vanart. I feel like I’m missing one rider. There should be five up the road.Ā
There should be six up the road. Two here. Uh, maybe some. And there there is five up here. AndĀ
then there’s five in the chase group. Okay. So,Ā Ā  I’ve just misplaced where one I think it wasĀ
maybe Ballerini. Yeah, Ballerini has fallen onto that front group and Simmons has left thisĀ
group and rejoined the front end trying to get to the very front going for a stage victory, folks.Ā
9.6 kilometers to the finish. Guys, this Okay, and you know what, guys? I’ll watch every day ofĀ
the tour to France. I love every day of the tourĀ Ā  to France. It’s the most wonderful time of theĀ
year. Uh I wasn’t expecting this today. I thought, well, you know, it’s going to be like a littleĀ
cruisy. guys are, you know, recovering after the rest day. Yeah, you need to recover from the restĀ
day and I thought it would be a sprint. All outĀ Ā  Jonathan Milan sprint. They blew that today. Uh,Ā
this stage was pretty much designed for sprinters. Probably like a 60% sprint chance, 40% breakawayĀ
chance. Uh, yeah, Robert’s got a great comment here. Watching close. Two guys up front. Uno, JakeĀ
Ola. Come on, boys. Let’s go. I am so cheering for these guys now. So cheering for them. It’s 23Ā
seconds between those front two and the Chasers. Quinn Simmons, Burgdor, and Fred Wright.Ā
I think uh the front boys are lucky thatĀ Ā  Vanard and Matt weren’t there. Uh but that’s howĀ
the game plays, folks. Schmidt and Abramson have been on the front all day long. They have been onĀ
the front all day long. They deserve to win this baby. They deserve it. Catching up. Uh RobertĀ
saying, “Remember Hen Cappy sitting up withĀ Ā  the handlebars in his hands of Rube crashingĀ
the ditch one second later.” Yeah, guys. He’s riding Peru Bay. George was always really good atĀ
Peru Bay. I think he got a second place one year,Ā Ā  I think. Uh he was a classics guy, kind of aĀ
bigger rider. Handlebars snap off in his hands and he’s riding and then then he just crashes intoĀ
the ditch because he had no control. I do rememberĀ Ā  that. Skagan watches are fancy. Okay. Uh, okay.Ā
Trying to get back. Trying to get back, guys. Ah. I’m losing it. I’m losing it.Ā
I’m losing it. So busy here,Ā Ā  guys. Whoa. So busy. Uh, I’m so back. So far back. Colonel RPG. Nice chill knowledge stream. I’mĀ
in, dude. We love having you here. Love havingĀ Ā  you here. Uh over 400 people watching. EF teamĀ
needs to lead. Yeah, that Pelon the Pelaton’s so far behind now. 3 minutes and 40 seconds back fromĀ
these two warriors at the front. Uh guys, I think they’re going to hold him off. My I’m praying forĀ
UNOX to get the win. Nothing against JCO Alula or Mororrow Schmidt, but UNOX has never got a win.Ā
The guys over at UNOX will be just like losing their minds in the car. Okay, so Matt’s fromĀ
Ontario. Abump. Abump is in the road according to Inspector Cluso. Okay. Dawn saying the tourĀ
of Russia. Is there an actual tour of Russia? Benny is in the yellow jersey group. Uh but theyĀ
are 3 minutes and 40 seconds behind the leaders. Uh the guys that are going to win the stageĀ
today are at the front absolutely smashing it. Uh okay. So correct. The name ofĀ
that jersey was the most combative. Yeah, Robert. Uh, didn’t team Lobby Claire kind ofĀ
end the combination jersey? I think they existed at the same time. Maybe that’s why they got ridĀ
of it. Uh, the jerseys were very similar in color. I’ll have to look. I thought I see I rememberĀ
Steven Rooks wearing that combination jersey and I think he was around into the early 90s. I thinkĀ
so. And I think Lavy Claire was gone by the early 90s. Seeing Machu Vanderpool Machu Vanderpool isĀ
breaking away out of his group he’s in. Let’s have a look at the the map here, guys. It And they’reĀ
not even showing everything. So, group three. Wow. They’re showing group here being caught byĀ
the Pelaton almost immediately. Is that real? Uh, yeah, it is, guys. It is. Pelon’s flying now.Ā
Vanderpool’s gone. Vanderpool’s gone by himself, guys. It’s the whole race is just falling.Ā
Like the group that was chasing just hitĀ Ā  the they just hit the brakes. It’s like theyĀ
stomp they pulled the E bra. Uh so here here’s the situation at the moment. Mororrow Schmidt,Ā
Abrahamson been in the breakaway all day long.Ā Ā  This is what happens when you take chances.Ā
Camponarts is driving the front for Vizma, driving the speed up, keeping YonasĀ
safe. EF is there as well. UNOX losing their minds right now. 7 km to go, guys.Ā
Vanderpool is 27 seconds back riding solo. Chasing group 33 seconds back. We got Vout,Ā
Burgo, and Laurance. And then it’s, see here, it’s still 245 back to the Pelon. So, this groupĀ
here, group three to the Pelon is not being represented very well here on the screen. They’reĀ
they’re further ahead of them than that. Uh, it’sĀ Ā  saying it’s 244 back to the Pelon from chase groupĀ
three. That makes more sense to me. Uh, where Quinn Simmons gone at this point? I don’t know.Ā
He’s kind of vanished out of these groups. He was 25 seconds behind the leaders. 24 seconds backĀ
to Machu Vanderpool. You got to think these guys can hold off Matthew Vanderpole to the finish. AndĀ
yeah, I’m all in on Abramson. All in on Abramson. Uh Tony C. I think if you ever stop thisĀ
broadcast, you will be in front of your screenĀ Ā  still talking out loud about everything you’reĀ
seeing. Yeah, probably, dude. Probably. Uh John’s laughing here. John knows all the race coverageĀ
I’ve done. I just love doing this stuff, guys. Uh, Luth. Okay, Luke’s been here before. LukeĀ
Earthwalker, I think was here like on someĀ Ā  of the earlier stages. Uh, the TTT is aĀ
beautiful thing. I miss seeing it. Yeah, me too, dude. It’s coming back next year.Ā
Abel’s with the uh yellow jersey right now.Ā Ā  Matthew Vanderpole chasing hard. He’s got itĀ
down to 22 seconds, guys. He’s got it down to 22 seconds. Matthew Vanderpole chasing themĀ
hard. I’m going to go into this mode rightĀ Ā  now. Here is where we’re at. Uh, really hard turnĀ
coming up here. Looks like a 120 degree corner. Robert saying, “My first sergeant gave me the dayĀ
off to watch the 87 TT in Berlin. Magnificent. So loud.” Awesome, dude. So, Robert was in theĀ
military at some point there. Leaders approaching that hard corner now. They’re going to go throughĀ
here very gingerly knowing Matthew Vanderpole is breathing down their neck here, folks. Uh thereĀ
is a bit of a roundabout to go through. So, a couple of hard corners, a roundabout to skirtĀ
through, and then it’s just kind of a gradual run into the finish. One left bend. Doesn’t look tooĀ
sketchy at the finish here. Who’s cheering for you with me? Who is cheering for Matthew VanderpoolĀ
has a down, guys? I think the freight train’sĀ Ā  coming. The freight train might be coming. CanĀ
Matthew Vanderpool pack pull back 15 seconds and 5 km? Heck yeah. Heck yeah, he can. Yeah,Ā
Benny can climb, Don. Totally. Benny is able to climb with these guys. Uh just unfortunatelyĀ
he’s not going to be in the points today. He will get some points. He will get some points. IĀ
shouldn’t say that. Uh there’s only two, three, uh six riders ahead of him. So he just has to beĀ
at the front at the finish to pick up some points. Uh James, hello from Hey James, back fromĀ
Corsica again. James, I was saying earlierĀ Ā  I did a ride on Ruby yesterday in Corsica.Ā
Uh I think it was called like Portinello to Pomello or something. I can’t remember now. UhĀ
Don saying I I agree being on the winning team top 10 finish and a stage win goals of a cyclist.Ā
Folks parlay a stage win into training camps and commentators. I wonder if I could parlayĀ
this into a stage win. I might do that. Uh Interface needs to make a move or they maybe faceĀ
Okay, Intermar. I think that’s what they’re sayingĀ Ā  there. Just a typo. Okay, so Vanderpool’s coming,Ā
guys. 14 seconds. He’s got four kilometers to go. I just want to show you on the map how absolutelyĀ
close they are. This is insanity. Like they’re on the same straightaway right now, guys. SameĀ
straightaway. That Uno X guy, he’s like,Ā Ā  “Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.”Ā
They’ve never won a stage at the Tour to France, guys. Uh they’re a wildcard team. This couldĀ
really boost them. uh in UCI standings. This is crazy. This is absolutely 15 seconds. They’reĀ
holding him. They’re just telling it, “Dude, dude, you better do the time trial of your life rightĀ
now and hope that Mororrow Schmidt tires out.” Mororrow Schmidt is wearing a Swiss nationalĀ
champion. I’m not sure what he’s the SwissĀ Ā  national champion of road race or time trial.Ā
Hopefully not time trial right now. Uh again, I hate to vote for root for one guy, but I’mĀ
rooting for that X dude. Yonas second from theĀ Ā  front right now. Staying out of trouble. JonathanĀ
Nyz I think is just sitting out ahead of them. Jay Taylor saying morning is here now. Uh Sylvia’sĀ
asking can vouch still win? Not today. It’s going to be a Uno X rider. Uh there’s been a crashĀ
further back guys. One rider went down. That sucks. Oh, it’s Tatty. Tatty’s down guys.Ā
Tatty’s down solo by himself right now. Oh, a little bit of bad luck for Tatty. ItĀ
does happen, folks. And the Pelaton sheĀ Ā  go. Tatty’s way off the back right now. He getsĀ
helped by neutral service. There’s not even a UAE car there. Thank you, Shimano, for beingĀ
there for Tatty. Thank you, Shimano. Tatty’s getting back on. He’s probably screamingĀ
into the radio now. Tatty is off the back,Ā Ā  folks. Uh, this is a bit of a replay, soĀ
we’re going to see what happens here. Oh, boys. If I was in that pelon right now, I’d beĀ
like, let’s rock, everyone. What happened here? I don’t I don’t know if someone clipped Tatty’sĀ
front wheel or he just made a mistake. He was riding right beside the yellow jersey Ben HealeyĀ
there. Yeah. You know what, guys? I’m a new I’m a new racer. I would There’s no There’s no mercyĀ
now. It’s go time, folks. It’s go time. If you can’t stay up on your bike, you’re gone. MatthewĀ
Vanderpole. Uh 2.3 km to go, guys. He’s 10 seconds behind these guys. Oh, come on, dudes. As muchĀ
as Matthew Vanderpool is my fa Vanderpool is my favorite cyclist, I don’t want him to win today.Ā
I want that Uno X guy to win. Come on, Yuno X, bro. Let’s do it. So, yeah, Tatty’s down, guys.Ā
Uh, Vout can’t win right now. Let’s see what they’re going to do with I would be smashing itĀ
so hard right now. when you’re going. Hey guys, when you’re going up that hill like the hoticcomĀ
tomorrow or Saturday’s race up the Super Banair, uh Tatty’s not going to wait for you, right?Ā
Tatty’s not going to wait for you. Part of being a cyclist is also staying upright. Uh IĀ
think they’re letting Tatty come back on. Okay, whatever. Whatever, guys. I don’tĀ
know what you guys think about that,Ā Ā  but I’m kind of over that now. Uh, AbrahamsonĀ
for the win today. I hope so. I really hope so. Oh, yeah. I’m going to have to look at that. WhoĀ
will gain the most riders in uh week three? Uh,Ā Ā  climbers, GC guys will be flying up.Ā
Matthew Vanderpole still riding solo now, guys. He’s still trying to chase. He’s gotĀ
8 seconds with 1.3 km to go. He’s probably putting down 450 watts all the way toĀ
the finish here. Just looking majestic. Uh Jay was asking who was talking aboutĀ
Philipsson? I forget now, but he’s way down. Dude,Ā Ā  he’s out. Philipsson crashed out on stageĀ
three. Mororrow Schmidt and the Uno X rider still working together. Fremies to the bitter end.Ā
They have 900 meters to go with a 9-second lead. I think it’s going to be between the two guys.Ā
Abrahamson, let’s go, buddy. Let’s go, buddy. Uh, Robert saying, “Close up on a pin on raceĀ
number shows they have the rider name and theĀ Ā  nation flag.” I didn’t notice that. I haven’tĀ
seen that either, Robert. Good, good catch. Yeah, Jasper’s out. Pete’s got that coveredĀ
there, guys. We’re getting close to the finishĀ Ā  here now. 700 meters to go. Uh, okay. I’mĀ
700 meters there. I’m over a kilometer here, guys. So, I’m going to just kind of killĀ
check catch up with the chat and I’ll tellĀ Ā  you how it goes down here. Uh, cuz I’mĀ
going to be freaking out. I think it’s still 8 seconds back to match you. Oh, wow.Ā
Let’s go Quinn. Quinn’s been pulled back now, guys. Poggy rejoined the race. Aided up byĀ
neutral service. Yep, I saw that happen. Uh, yeah, I like Colonel here, but he’s sayingĀ
he’s not in yellow. They don’t need to waitĀ Ā  for him. If he wanted special treatment, heĀ
should have the yellow on his back. Yeah, it looks like they all waited for him. Like,Ā
ooh, I don’t want to see who won. I So, technically right now, oh yes, buddy. I’m going toĀ
tell you right now, the Uno X bro one. I was like, I don’t want to see it if the other guy wins. Uh,Ā
congratulations to I think it’s Yonas Abraham. Uh, they’re not showing it. They’re just showing hisĀ
picture right now. Moros Schmidz gets second.Ā Ā  Matthew Vanderpool third. Guys, Matthew VanderpoolĀ
Pool was 26 seconds behind when he started the Jace. He got it down to 7 seconds. What aĀ
champion. I’m going to watch the finish here now,Ā Ā  guys. Uh 500 M. So I’m behind by 500 meters. SoĀ
really good today. Mororrow Schmidz in front. Uno X rider sitting on his wheel. Dude, do notĀ
move. But I can see Matthew Vanderpool about 100 meters back. Matthew Vanderpool about 100 metersĀ
back. Moros Schmidtz doing all the leading outs. Sprint starting now. UnoX rider gets up out of theĀ
saddle. Really nice looking gold colored bike he’s riding. Matthew Vanderpool’s coming. The UnoXĀ
rider has pulled up side by side. It looks like it’s slightly uphill. There’s a fan running aroundĀ
in the finish line. It’s going to be tackled,Ā Ā  but he got tackled and slammed by some kind ofĀ
security dude. That was almost as exciting as the finish. That was awesome. Congratulations toĀ
Abrahamson here. What a superstar, dude. I first stage win at the Tour to France. Uh, not a worldĀ
tour team rising up prolevel team beating the pros at their own game. I love it. Absolutely loveĀ
it. Um, last kilometers. Yeah, we’re done, guys. We’re done here. Uh, I’m just watching it now. TheĀ
next group of riders coming. Quinn’s there. VoutĀ Ā  Vanard’s there. I would imagine Vout can takeĀ
this. Although the Total Energy rider had the jump, but Vout’s getting the diesel up to powerĀ
now. Oh, it looks like maybe it’s Arnold DeleĀ Ā  going to take it. I think that might be ArnoldĀ
Dele there. I think it is. Red jersey for lotto will get fourth place. Yeah, it was fourth place.Ā
Oh, no. Yep, it is fourth place. Dele. And again, I said earlier, I think the Lee is a bit moreĀ
of a sprinter than Vout is. Uh Vout can hang in the sprints though. No doubt. Wow, that is soĀ
awesome. first stage win says right here uh right here guys middle of screen the first victoryĀ
for Unex Millie in the tour to France. Okay, this guy just made his career right here. FirstĀ
ever win for Unoax Millie at the Tour to France for the team and his first ever stage win. HeĀ
won by about half a wheel length. Unfortunate for Morris Schmidt. And in the background I’m stillĀ
seeing that idiot. So, there was a guy in the SCOD banners where it says Scoda painted on theĀ
road running around whipping his jacket in the air and some dude dressed up in jeans. I hope it wasĀ
Bernardi no took him down. Uh, you know the uh theĀ Ā  Bernardi No look after the tour to France. Jeans,Ā
dress shoes, and a white dress shirt. That’s what he always wears. It wasn’t Bernardi. No, but ifĀ
it was, that would have been even better. Uh,Ā Ā  some dude ran out there and slammed him into theĀ
barriers. Yeah, dude. Take him down. Yeah, he got he definitely got roughed up a little bit. I loveĀ
it. Love it. Rough that dude up, man. Uh yeah, Cole Kane is here again. Uh yeah, that was a greatĀ
finish there. Uno all the way. I was cheering for that dude, guys. First two guys are on the sameĀ
time. Matthew Vanderapole 7 seconds back. Uh it was like half a wheel length. Cole’s just jumpingĀ
in cheering for Norway. Dude, Cole, I cheered that dude on all the way. Uh Vanderpool was very close.Ā
Vanderpool closed 26 27 seconds in the last 67 km by himself. Uh everyone else fell out. VanderpoolĀ
was the only one strong enough to chase. Uh as much as Vanderpool is my favorite cyclist, IĀ
wanted Unoax to win today and I’m glad theyĀ Ā  did. Uh Tony C saying being a fan tackled at theĀ
finish line, not part of my poll question. Dude, that would have been great. What are the chancesĀ
of a fan being tackled? We could have Well,Ā Ā  we guess we can’t have sports betting. I can’tĀ
even say that. Uh, is Vanderpole win the yellow jersey? Nope. Stage winner today will be uh theĀ
Uno X rider. Abrahamson and Ben Healey will still be in the yellow jersey. Pogy did crash and I’mĀ
going to see what happened at the end there. I’d love to see a full full re replay of it. I see BenĀ
Healey coming in right now. There’s Jonas right there. H I didn’t see where Pogy finished, but IĀ
think they waited for him. Guys, you don’t need to wait for him. He’s not in the yellow jersey. He’sĀ
29 seconds behind. That was your opportunity to take time. Poggy’s not going to remember that youĀ
waited for him when he’s climbing up uh the Bomb. Guess what? You just He’s on the strong Well,Ā
maybe he’s not on the strongest team anymore, but he’s got a very strong team, the best fundedĀ
team, the best rider in the world. How manyĀ Ā  chances do you need to give them? Uh RobertĀ
says, “Thank you for uh hosting today.” Yeah, thanks for being here, Robert. You are the numberĀ
one uh person in the chat today. Really appreciateĀ Ā  that. Don saying, “I hope Tatty hasn’t hurt tooĀ
much.” Yeah, I hope Tatty hasn’t hurt all. He’s at the finish line, so I think that front groupĀ
did wave for him. I wouldn’t have uh I don’t think he’s hurt at all. Okay, he I just saw him put hisĀ
hand on Seth’s shoulder, so probably saying, “Hey, thanks.” I’m going to watch it again. Okay.Ā
Looking back at the replay, I think Tatty’s front wheel might have been taken out by a UnoĀ
X rider. It’s hard to tell. Yeah, it is. The guy cut across the road to react to a move. Tatty’sĀ
wheel was there and he got taken down. Guys, he doesn’t look hurt, but I think anytime you fallĀ
off your bike at 20 miles hour, it hurts. Uh, so I’m hoping he’s not hurt either, but I would haveĀ
attacked at that point. I would have said, I don’tĀ Ā  care. We’re here to win stages. Um, yeah, TattĀ
Taddyy did crash as a rarity, folks. Like I said, he’s probably the luckiest cyclist out there. HeĀ
doesn’t have to deal with what everyone else Okay,Ā Ā  all good, Tatty. All good. All good. All good.Ā
Respect to the bunch. Respect to everybody. Thank you. I think he’s That’s him responding. Uh, heĀ
knows they all waited for him, so that’s good to see. I don’t want him to get hurt either.Ā
Uh, yeah. So, Tatty Crash, Don saying, “Uh, thanks for calling. Wishing Joey Jojo a happyĀ
birthday today. May you having a great time.”Ā Ā  Yeah, we’re going to, Don. Thank you so much forĀ
being here again, guys. Don’t forget tomorrow, uh, it’s going to be a barn burner tomorrow. As we sayĀ
over here in Calgary, a ring, a ding-dong dandy, folks. There will be a malfunction at the junctionĀ
tomorrow. the war really starts tomorrow at the tour to France. This is when uh the warriors haveĀ
to come out and play. If I had some if I had a couple of small bottles, I’d be going like thisĀ
[Ā __Ā ] [Ā __Ā ] in my hands right now. You guys knowĀ Ā  the movie. Someone tell me what movie that is.Ā
It’s such an easy one. Uh yeah, Robert number one in the chat. Tatty will feel that crash tomorrowĀ
and the next day. Exactly. Uh second day. Oh, Robert, good thing here. you you know how to stirĀ
it up for me. I’ve said it before and uh they they the team Tatty’s team UAE said about Yao it’sĀ
always worse on the second or third day. What’s on the second day from now? The mountain time drop.Ā
Tatty might feel a bit banged up. I don’t know what hit the ground first. Was it his hip? WasĀ
his shoulders elbow? Who knows? They’re going toĀ Ā  be probably having a good look at him tonight. IsĀ
Matthew Vanderpole the new green jersey? I would say no. It’s Jonathan Milan still. Uh, looking atĀ
the points here after general ranking, Jonathan Milan, Tatty, Bingham. Uh, I think Bingham mayĀ
have got I think he was at 151. So, I think he got a I think he got three points today. So, heĀ
wasn’t super high up in the sprint, but he gotĀ Ā  something. Jonathan Milan got zero points todayĀ
in the final sprint, but he did get intermediate points. So did Bingham. climber still LennyĀ
Martina Martinez uh young riders jersey Ben Healey and there we So overall Ben did lose some timeĀ
today. Uh no he didn’t. Sorry I’m looking at this over here. Uh at the start of the dayĀ
it was 29 seconds back to Tatty. It’s stillĀ Ā  29 seconds back to Tatty. It could be more,Ā
but Tatty and UAE are very fortunate that for some reason the benefits of wearing the yellowĀ
jersey were gifted to Tatty there. So, generally, if it’s the yellow jersey wearer, you’d wait. It’sĀ
just kind of the respect thing of the tour. I kind of wish that would start going away, too. Uh,Ā
really wasn’t Tatty’s fault that he went down, but I’ve seen other times when people have waitedĀ
and it’s like that was his own fault. That crashĀ Ā  wasn’t Tatty’s fault. It was It’s It’s racing.Ā
Yeah, Tony C’s got it. The Warriors. Warriors come out and play. So easy, right? So easy.Ā
Tony, you got you nailed that one. Uh so guys, that’s been fun today. A lot of fun. Let’sĀ
uh let me get away from the camera here. The route. Let’s have a little previewĀ
tomorrow. Only 9:15 in the morning for me,Ā Ā  guys. This is where we’re heading to tomorrow.Ā
180.6 km. So, we’re going longer tomorrow. It’s a mountain stage tomorrow. 3850 meters of climbing.Ā
We’ll do a quick preview of it. Actually, let’s do uh we’re going to do a quick zoom in on theĀ
stage again. So, A, however you pronounce it, is probably a couple hours southwest of TulusĀ
where we’re finishing today. And you can seeĀ Ā  the Pyrenees in the background. That’sĀ
where we’re heading, boys. That’s where we’re heading now to. Appreciate everyone beingĀ
here today. Appreciate the likes, uh, comments,Ā Ā  anyone who subscribes to the channel. Love it,Ā
guys. Uh you guys are making the channel for me to France and you guys the fans we’re climbingĀ
here called Solor that’s category one called Bordeair is a category two and we go down throughĀ
the valley system and we climb the hotcom rightĀ Ā  away guys I studied this one a lot last night onĀ
climb finder to figure this one out. Uh you turn one way you’re up another climb. So it’s flatĀ
to generally climbing falls flatty for the day. There will be a sprint point in there someday.Ā
Riders are still finishing out their bunchesĀ Ā  coming in as we speak. Everyone going prettyĀ
chill there. We will look at here it is. Oh, so we do have a category 4 early uh right beforeĀ
the sprint point. That could be interesting to see if the sprinters get over that one. Jonathan Lan’sĀ
going to want to secure some more points. Uh thisĀ Ā  guy Abrahamson is like the hero of Norway uh forĀ
Uno X. We take on the cat one. So they’re going to have 120 kilometers under their belt beforeĀ
they start climbing. Drop downhill. Category two called a Bordeair. And we drop way down toĀ
the valley and take on the HC hoticcom. Um where are they? I think it’s a just over a thousandĀ
meters of climbing on the hoticcom. See here uh the Calder. It’s almost 12 km at the center ofĀ
percent. So that’s 850 m of climbing there. Uh the category 2 is another couple hundred meters ofĀ
climbing. And then the hoticcom uh 13.8 km at 8% is right around 1,000 meters, I believe. So it’sĀ
going to be a spectacular day tomorrow, folks. Let’s have one more look at the profileĀ
there. I’ll finish this baby off. Uh actually,Ā Ā  I should be back here so I don’t blind myself.Ā
Let’s look at the stage rankings today quickly. Abrahamson is Norwegian too because the team isĀ
like 90% Norwegian and about 10% Danish riders. Excuse me. Um Schmidt Vanderpool, ArnoldĀ
Dele did sprint win there. He I saw him uh take Venard out. Laurance was part of theĀ
group. Fred Wright Burgau Quinn Simmons gets ninth. Ballerini did survive to get 10th. Uh andĀ
then Kaden Gro is coming in for Alison Decornney getting some points. He’d get points there. DianiĀ
Jagat who is sitting nicely in the standings too. Let’s keep an eye on this guy going later on.Ā
Roma Gregar. Uh well placac in the standings trying to see where Binium came in here if he gotĀ
points. Uh so here’s Ben Healey finishing at 328. Yeah, big group there. So, I guess Bingham’s po only points todayĀ
were at the intermediate. He got no points at the finish line there. I guess he figuredĀ
everyone ahead of them um was not contestingĀ Ā  the green jersey. So, okay guys, uh justĀ
going to read the last questions here. Let’s just back up. Oh, I forgot to Joey made guysĀ
Joey Jojo made me an opening video and I forgot to play it again. I got to Okay, brain work. I gotĀ
to download that today and get it plugged intoĀ Ā  the OBS. Uh, yeah, Warriors. Come out and play.Ā
Love that movie. Need an ending tagline like I am cycling out. Peace out, bros. Uh, mountain dayĀ
stage 12. First real one of the tour climbing. Welcome to the tour to France. It’s all goingĀ
to flip-flop. Yeah, basically one wheel lengthĀ Ā  it looks like. Maybe a bit less for the victoryĀ
there. Julius Caesar just getting here today. Uh, Tatty went down on his hip. Okay, guys, that’sĀ
going to be hurting him over the next couple days.Ā Ā  That will impact his performance. I don’t want toĀ
see him get hurt. I wouldn’t have waited for him, though. Call me a bad guy. I don’t care. Uh, YanluĀ
saying, “Crazy climbing. When is the TT race?” Uh, dude, that’s Friday. Friday is the uphill mountainĀ
time trial, individual events. Thursday tomorrow though we climb the hotcomic category one categoryĀ
four one two and then an HC climb at the end. Wow, this is a gigantic swimming pool they’reĀ
showing here on TV. Like it’s just like abs it’s like 50 swimming pools in one. Uh obviouslyĀ
a waiting pool. Uh Dawn saying they should have made the stage 13 uphill time trial 30 throughĀ
comments then it would have blown up the Yeah,Ā Ā  they need longer ones again. I think they’re justĀ
they’re favoring climbers too much. Uh I think the tours just leaned in that direction now. And inĀ
the past, I saw one tour to France, listen to it on audiobook. It had five individual time trialsĀ
in one tour to France. They’re probably thinking, “Okay, here’s your five flat stages. Here’sĀ
five TTs. Here’s five hill climbs, and we’ll have a few random smatterings of undulating ones.”Ā
Jonathan Milan just coming to the finish line now. uh 14 minutes back. That’s probably happenedĀ
in real life just catching the replay. Uh Bingo was in the main group. He’s he’s fine. No changesĀ
in the standings. Uh Brandon saying, “Last climb tomorrow. Looks comparable to the Santa BarbaraĀ
California Jalter. Looking to be a great day,Ā Ā  dude. It’s going to be fantastic. I hope youĀ
can be here the entire stream.” Bike terror again. Great commenting call. Bike terror, dude.Ā
Here they are, guys. This is that cycling app I’mĀ Ā  telling you about. Uh hopefully everything getsĀ
worked out for tomorrow by Tara. I don’t know if this is Matt or Anslo. I will be showing itĀ
tomorrow. It’s actually sitting live in theĀ Ā  background here. Uh just not on screen right nowĀ
because the stage was supposed to be better stage tomorrow, I think. Uh yeah, the 18th. We’re onĀ
the 16th today. Joey Jojo’s birthday. 17th is Ocom. Mountain time trial is the 18th. You’reĀ
right. Friday. So take Friday off work. HangĀ Ā  out here. Watch Tour to France. Tell me about allĀ
your cycling knowledge. Uh Julius Sam is so sick of hearing about Tadpole. That’s Tadpole. I loveĀ
it. And then someone asked about Aventle. Dude, I was right there too. Um okay, guys. Let meĀ
just do this quickly then I got to jump off. Um let’s look for all the hitters names here. TheĀ
guys who we expect to win the tour to France. Uh here’s a Venipole. [Music] Looks like 3 minutesĀ
and 20 something seconds back. There’s Alfalipe. There’s Carlos Rodriguez. Here’s Felix Gaul.Ā
Bookman. Tatty right there. Bingo right with him. Uh Johansson Rajick, don’t forget about him,Ā
guys. Oscar only there as well. Adam Yates managed to hang in the group today. Uh didn’t get beat upĀ
in the hills today. Sepus, all of them are there, guys. Uh so yeah, Tadpole, that’s what he’sĀ
going by now. We’re going to call him Tadpole here over on the channel. Okay, guys. It isĀ
uh 9:23 for my morning. You guys need to go to work. Uh enjoy the rest of your day. I will beĀ
riding my bike shortly, doing chores, and then going out for dinner tonight with Joey and theĀ
girls. Uh so, thanks for watching everyone and uh we’ll see you. I got I’ll check the time, guys.Ā
I’ll be putting the stream up soon. Uh I think we might be starting earlier tomorrow, so it couldĀ
be a brutal day for me again. But yeah, I love it.

Share.

  1. Thought this might be the best place to suggest a poll, that way you can give it some thought and only do the poll if you think it is worthwhile.

My thought is to see what kind of audience you have in your viewership, with a question like:

What kind of TDF participant would you most likely be?
    a) an overall good cyclist
    b) a mountain climber
    c) a sprinter
    d) a rabid fan

I would just be curious what your fanbase thinks about their own cycling prowess.

By the way Happy Birthday to JoJo again, believe it or not my birthday was yesterday July 16th also, did not want to mention it in chat, at my age you stop counting them LOL

Thanks for your excellent coverage of the TDF.
