I posted on here recently about my P Line motor failing and then subsequently that Brompton had replaced it under warranty. At that time was given no paperwork and the dealer who did the work wasn’t sure how long the warranty on the replacement motor was so I sent an email to Brompton. They advised that the warranty on the replacement part isn’t from the date of the repair but is just covered by the three year original warranty from the original purchase. My three years takes me up to January next year so really the new part only has six months warranty which is a little disappointing. After January I will be super careful about avoiding potholes, no easy task in the UK.

This is industry standard. I believe they do restart the clock if a customer pays for a repair.
Did they determine what caused failure?
