Van Life France – Look around Troyes and why didn’t I take the van !

Today’s van life travel adventure comes from Troyes in France. This is an amazing city full of beautiful old 16th century timber framed buildings. We have decided to head to The Dordogne in France,. Chateau de Fonrives near Villereal to be exact, which is not far from Bergerac. The plan was to grab an Airbnb and stop over in Troyes for a couple of days to break up the journey. We decided to take Sam’s car on this one as we booked a lodge at a campsite and decided we didn’t need the van on this one.
That might have been a mistake !
Did everything go to plan?
Not exactly !
Troyes however was as good as I thought it would be. Let’s see how the rest of the holiday goes.
