It’s very versatile, but master of none. Has good puncture protection and very dampened feel over rough terrain. On smooth surfaces, you notice the higher rolling resistance relative to faster tires like G-One RS. It’s priced well. G-One R Pro looks better on paper in terms of rolling resistance, but I haven’t tried that yet. If you don’t do much road riding or hardpack, you will be pretty happy with the Pirelli.

Fucking love it! Super good quality compared to others I’ve tried when running tubeless. Survives really bad neighbourhoods with glass all over the road. Only issue it’s a little slippery on tarmac in heavy rain.

I ride mine ona mix of pavement, hard pack, mud, roots, chunky rock. They take whatever you throw at them. I did b2b tests with fast rolling Conti Terra Speed, it’s faster, but Gravel M has much better grip/confidence on anything that isn’t pavement. I have 700×45 right now, cushioning is a bit better, but I will probably go back to 700×40 for my mixed use after these wear out.

I like the gravel H better. This one rolls better on singletrack but I’m not taking my gravel bike on singletrack very often, definitely not often enough to justify the speed penalty on everything else.

I look to do an even split of road, gravel and single track. How does this perform across all three? I’ve heard great things but anyone do all three?

It’s an Italian product, which means they are designed to have an above average driver.

Maybe the best ‘thin’ gravel tires. I had them on my old bike but have since moved to ‘Gravel+’ size using 2.25” tires. If these came in that size I’d probably use them instead of Mezcals.

Love mine. I’m hard on bikes and they have held up really really well

Love the way they ride but punctured my front and rear on some single track day one. Put about ten plugs in the front tire until they stopped holding and had to replace. Still running the back tire with a graveking panaracer on the front.
Maybe I got a dud, not sure. Should also mention I’m referring to the 700×45 tan walls.

I’ve got one of these on my 650b setup. Traction is good, not great. It hooks up well, but not quite as well as my Specialized Rhombus (esp cornering at speed). It rolls smooth, even on pavement, and has never let me down in terms of flats. It set up tubeless quickly, and I’ve never burped (I’m 205 and ride chonky, sharp gravel roads).
For reasons… my other tire on this setup is a Maxis. I keep wanting to switch it out, but I only ride this setup on super steep stuff or bikepacking kind of trips, so I don’t use it enough to justify the spend. At some point, I’ll set up the front wheel with this too, though.
Bottom line: not a bad use of your money.

Really good do anything tyre
It suits U.K. riding which can be wet and muddy
It’s good on the dry too
Surprisingly quick on road
More hard wearing than terravail Cannonballs
Faster and grippier than Schwalbe G Ones
100 times better than gravel kings

I have pirelli cinturatos now for my commute and wouldn’t buy anything else. I’ve been through pretty much every manufacturer and style over the years trying to find something that lasts, grips in the wet and doesn’t puncture every 5 minutes. These are the best i’ve found.

I run it as a front tire and paired with a Gravel H on the rear. I like the grip and confidence of having it on the front. No puncture over 1.5k miles this season through mud, loose terrain, some singletracks, and local MTB trails. The H in the rear is to help reduce rolling resistance as I don’t need as much grip in the back.

I prefer Cinturato H, they’re much faster, only thing Ms are noticibly better is grip on muddy surface, I could ride beach sand on them

I’ve been using the 50mm M in combination with an H in the back and it’s a pretty good tire. Lots of grip, only punctured once and that was a big ass nail that would’ve taken any tire out. Higher rolling resistance than the H on tarmac but that’s expected.

I have it on rear in 45c and schwalbe thunder burt 2.1 on the front, as a rear tire it’s ok but i will look for something with lower rolling resistance..

I have done a few Scottish gravel sportives on them in some rough single track, very sharp and jagged stuff and they’ve been great. No punctures, smooth ride and decent on the road. I’m happy with mine.

Best tire by a mile.
