I'm looking to buy a one of those two grails. Just curious about what exactly the difference is?
The only thing i could spot is the wheels
GRC42 has:
DT Swiss GRC1400 Spline db (rim height 42mm)
non GRC42 has:
DT Swiss GRC1400 Spline (rim height 50mm)
The GRC42 is 300€ cheaper than the other version.
Anything else i'm missing?

You are correct, only difference is the wheels. The 42 are the older version and have a hookless design. 50 is the newer version and is hooked.
