Day 3 of our French cycling adventure was all about the 80km ride to the historic city of Rouen! Had breakfast by the river bank. The journey along the river was beautiful, although the hot weather made it quite challenging. Thankfully, we found some shade in a forest along the way. We had a tough climb or two to reach our Airbnb, but we made it by mid afternoon. Had to take a few breaks though! After checking in, we went out again in the city and enjoyed a walk about the city centre. Heard the amazing bells of this 12th-century Gothic cathedral which took almost 800 years to complete.
