Consider the fact the bay is about 2-3 times the width of the truck, he's got some room. Many firehouses have bays with 2-3 inches of clearance.
I tell you FDNY is the most busy fire departments because of 9/11 it was hard to get people down from the towers and go back up go get people down go back up and I can tell they get tired or busy
