So this happened today. I have a 2022 Canyon Aeroad SL7 and I got the Canyon Frontlight set which comes with a Garmin mount.
I have a Hammerhead Karoo 2 computer for which I used the Garmin adapter to mount.
I rode through some rough Dallas roads and the computer flew off and hit the tarmac. By the time I stopped and tried to retrieve it a car had already run over it.
Karoo 2 is shattered. And I noticed that the Canyon mount is broken. I have raised a support ticket for Canyon as well as one for Hammerhead.
It’s disappointing to see that this product from Canyon is not reliable and now I’ll probably have to shell out $$ to get another computer or use my phone I guess. Another fun fact, this was my first ride with the computer 😭
Now that I think about it the hammerhead comes with a loop. If only I had that attached it would’ve had any chances of saving.

The stock garmin puck will fit in the canyon mount. Something like this should work as well: https://www.amazon.com/KOM-Cycling-Computer-Replacement-Computers/dp/B08CGP2XMD?psc=1
If the computer is new I’d probably see if Hammerhead will take a return. Their mount adapter may be at fault.
