A few months ago, I found an interesting frame on taobao.
It was a 2019 FUJI jari 'nos' steel frame. Encouraged by the fact that it was a not-used and no longer production by fuji-brand steel frame, I paid about $300+ (including shipping) for it without much thought, despite the risk of QR dropouts.
I already had a shimano 105 r7000+trp spyre mechanical groupset, and I started building it with the goal of a budget CX build using as many parts as I had.
For the wheelset, I contacted the seller through aliexpress and changed the thru axle hub to a 6-bolt QR hub.

frame: FUJI JARI 2.3 nos(52S)
wheelset: Vel RL50 (qr)
tire: WTB riddler 37c
shifter, derailleur: shimano 105 r7000
crankset: senicx PR6 (50-34, 170mm)
brakes: try SPYRE
seatpost: elitaone carbon
stem: uno 120mm -7°
handlebar: shikra 360-430
saddle: giant approach
pedal: enlee nylon flat

Ultimately, the build came to just under $700 and the bike weighed in at around 11kg (As the10, 11th photo, the frame and fork are quite heavy).
