It’s an expedition into hostile territory. If this French physicist walks with a sure step on this frozen lake, This is because he assessed the thickness of the ice covering him before venturing out. This is always verified when we arrive at the junction between the ice and the land, that there was no rise in water, where the ice could be much weaker. Because accidents happen every year on the petrified Norwegian waters. In case the ice cracks… Arnaud has planned this surprising device for us. I brought rescue cops. And so this, around the neck, It allows you to get back on the ice. Because if it’s wet, the ice slides. So, there, This allows you to lie on your stomach and gently pull yourself up again. I am already a Norwegian medalist. So, so if you fall, you do it like this. In the middle of the lake, once a month, The 48-year-old Frenchman joins his friend Georgios. An opening has already been dug. There, It’s a block they released this morning. SO, There are at least 20 centimeters. Arnaud wants to create a new one. Armed with this impressive saw, he splits the ice. To enter water at 2 degrees, Arnaud puts on a thick suit, but above all waterproof. Because he and Georgios are going to dive under this layer of ice. There are two of us, so there is always someone on the curtain. So if there is anything, we will seek each other out. The biggest risk, It’s not finding the hole. You really have to have the reflex to go down to dive back down, see where he is and go towards the hole. Otherwise, we don’t meet at all, because underwater, at ice level, we don’t see where he is. Having lived in Norway for 25 years, Arnaud discovered ice diving 8 years ago. His friend Georgios is the Norwegian champion of this somewhat crazy discipline. Arnaud and his friend descend at regular intervals into the depths of the lake. They can stay underwater for almost two minutes. We increase the depth, we feel like we’re flying away, to see the ice stay. This is very weird. And then to get underneath and not panic, to be confident and to know that even if we are 15 meters over there, we will be able to return. It’s much more mental than physical. And to get out of the water, We must draw inspiration from wild nature. Double exchange. We are the last, I think, on the lake. If we are here, It’s because we don’t want too many people around. So it’s nice to be quiet. And yet, We are less than 30 minutes from downtown Oslo. 1400 kilometers from France, the Norwegian capital is located in the far south of the country, on a fjord. To the north… This is the domain of wide open spaces, forests and lakes, most of them frozen at this time of year. South of this wild nature, facing the Olympic Ski Jump from the 1952 Winter Games which dominates the hill, the city center. The atmosphere is peaceful and the cars are all electric. Oslo is said to be the second best city in the world to live in, after Helsinki. Norway, We are very spoiled. For the life of mom or dad. We forget our life a little in advance. Of the 690,000 inhabitants, 5,000 French people came there to seek happiness. Despite temperatures approaching 0°C, 6 months of the year. In Norway, There is no bad weather? Yes, with bad clothes. They are star pastry chefs. One month of opening, Make a double page, It is a consecration. Or the owner of a gourmet restaurant. Very attached to the values of French taste. They like to think that when they walk through the restaurant door, they are no longer in Norway, they are no longer in Oslo, They are in Paris. They are mothers or students. It’s like a bit of a shock. I’m going to do two, three strokes and then I can go back up. And live here in the pure Norwegian tradition. So, how is daily life for the French in Oslo? A city where in winter, the sun sets at 4 p.m. and where the cost of living is one of the highest in the world. 7 a.m., in one of the residential areas of the city, Franck Neur, It is also called the French Quarter. You want butter? A smer We say butter. You mean butter? A butter A butter At breakfast time, Every morning, Hélène has to juggle her children’s special tastes. Maya, 3 years, Theodore, 5 years, and Liv, 1 year. It’s a bit of a mix made by us, because there, They are small butter grills. Not so Norwegian, but Theodore, he’s going to take some caviar in a tube, so this, for the moment, It is not found in France. Actually, These are smoked and salted cod eggs. They have this, as well as often the levepostail, and Liv, She’s a fan of it. It’s dough and liver. Who wants it? Her little vitamin? In Oslo, for 10 years, Helen is married to a Norwegian, Eric. He is an engineer. And has already left for work. As in most Norwegian families, Dad will take over tonight after school, But in the morning, Mom is in charge. It is heavy cod oil. This is what the Norwegians here, Besides, everyone, It is highly recommended to take during winter, due to the lack of light, We need extra vitamins. So, this is the syrup that everyone has in their fridge during the winter months. Théodore doesn’t have a canteen at school and at the moment, the one at the nursery is closed. So, every morning, Hélène also prepares lunches for the children. It’s called the mat’ not only that. You have to do simple things. Either we take leftovers from the day before, often, people actually make sandwiches. I’m going to make pile sandwiches, salami sandwiches, I put some vegetables. And then a yogurt, a compote. Theodore, You can look for your bag, please ? Maya, your bag! Hold, you put in it. You don’t forget it, you will give it to your mistress. It is… Hop, hop, hop! Since in the morning, It’s always a bit of a glitter. Theodore, You come and put on your suit, please ? We put them on the floor and put them on ourselves, like that ? Donning a wetsuit the Norwegian way. I think this is the daily life of a normal mother. But it’s… Plus, getting dressed takes a little time in the morning. Speedwell, Helen’s mother, visiting for the week, finally comes to lend a hand to his daughter. She gives him a little help to accompany the children to school. And especially to hold Theodore, who will have fun on the way. Like on an ice rink. Come on, come here, This is a bad idea. 10 minutes walk. She leaves the older one at the French school. He has cross-country skiing lessons this morning. A little further on, Maya and Liveux are left at the nursery. They also serve as a kindergarten, because school only starts at age 6. We drop the children off at whatever time we want. And if they are in combination, It’s for a good reason. They will spend the morning outside. Liveux in the courtyard. No, no way, never in Norway. She is small, She won’t stay as long as the other children. Emmaia in a park behind the school. A way here to quickly accustom children to the freezing climate. A few kilometers away, A queue forms in front of this pastry shop. Inside, his tea room is packed. At the head of this brand… Younes, The young chef, a former pastry chef in the British Royal Navy, created it at the end of 2020. Our bestsellers here, it’s the pie, lemon, tart, lemon, passion fruit, we have the Paribas pistachio. I really wanted to stay in what I love. The most, So these are truly the great classics of French pastry. Which may change a little, It’s the visual aspect on some cakes. His universe is round and colorful. It’s pretty. Among the classics, Younes and his partner Théo have of course not forgotten the macaron. The Saint-Trois in Paris, It’s really a bit of a national emblem. So, we would have been a bit stupid not to do it. And to name it, Norwegians even have a word that sounds a bit French. The gotteries. It’s a Norwegian word for treats, In fact. In the stove, there is Camille, 24 years old, here on internship. After, passion fruit, there we see the little seeds. It gives a little more acidity. And Raphael, 34 years old, passed through the United States. This is the pastry cream used in Paris-Brest. So, it’s just a base, It is also used in millefeuilles. The two Frenchmen have been suffering here for several months. Bye. As they said, she is classic, but we apply ourselves. Their cake, as good as it is beautiful, attracts the Osloids. But not only that. Some Norwegians drive several hours to taste the pastries. We came here especially. From the first bite, It’s delicious. You saw the cakes It’s super pretty, It’s very, very good. And it’s very pretty. But also pastries. That, On the other hand, they know. We can’t miss this. As good as that, I don’t think so. The 30-year-old pastry chef navigates with ease between his open lab and customers. I would like a Cronut. I didn’t mean to offend you by calling it a Cronut. Younes introduces you to the specialties here, but also French traditions. We have a client, we bought in the afternoon, She calls the store. I don’t understand, in the cake I bought today, There was something hard. I say yeah, the bean, what. She said to me, “But why is there that in the cake and everything?” It’s actually really fun to introduce this kind of thing. The pastry chef sells 2,000 to 3,000 cakes per month. For 5 years, here, he is well installed. Others have everything to discover. A little further north of the city, on the heights, the university residence, the former village of the 1952 Winter Olympics. Hill, 19 years old, arrived from Lyon just 15 days ago. Not just at 17, She is in her third year of a psychology degree. On this floor, She shares a kitchen and bathroom with 20 other Erasmus students, like her. There, here, We have a French woman who has been here since August. So, she knows well, Here she is a German. And so, here are the rooms, fairly standard, but which I find quite large. Memories of France on the walls and floor, 11 square meters for 500 euros per month. I think it’s not very expensive. I have friends who have rented apartments and who are oncologists in the center of Oslo and who pay 1000 euros. Colline only has 6 hours of political science classes per week. The rest of the time, she revises. But in the meantime, She has adopted typical habits of the area. Yes, It’s a little. The little morning ritual, around 11 a.m. We meet up with friends to go skiing. For now, we are still beginners. But it’s really great. All his new friends are doing Erasmus. There is James, the American. We were just waiting for you. But above all, Astrid. French and student of social sciences, The two young girls are inseparable. Since yesterday evening, How’s it going And in a city where winters drag on, They have abandoned the idea of French elegance. That’s exactly what I said to my sisters, that I spent my day in my SPI outfit. Almost all the time. And they clearly told me that it was a bit of a defeat for style. And then, we can forget about heels with the black ice. It is sure that holding the ski and tights under the pants, That, it’s essential. But it is above all for all these reasons that Colline chose to continue her studies in Norway. Already, for that, just have skis on the bus, I think that’s enough. No, I wanted a country where nature was at the center, really of life, because in my life, in Lyon, I move a lot, I do a lot of hiking. And then also, at the level of studies, of course, It was a very large university, with a good level of excellence. Just two bus stops away, morning cross-country skiing, It’s an hour and a half walk in the forest, in the heart of what is called the green belt, the hundreds of kilometers of wooded area that surround the city. Back to the center of Oslo, in this restaurant. Where we try to install a very French symbol. It’s a rooster, an animal, symbol of France. It’s inspired by the French team logo anyway. I would have liked to use the lure directly, but I don’t have the right. You tell me when I can screw. Charles, 35 years old, is the leader of Artoise, with his partner Jody. Alright. The Breton wants to bring a little piece of France here, in Norway. It will be better at night. We’ll be back in the evening. Yeah, style, eh ? It’s going to be really classy, What. Charles and Jody are therefore banking on a sure value of French gastronomy. And only French wines 100%, only French wines. Their French Touch. If you want to taste. Recommendations on pairing May and wine. And that, What do you recommend it with? generally With beef. The beef, It’s a pretty spicy meat. British. But a glass of wine in Norway has a taste of luxury. We can start at around 15 euros, often. But it can go very high, it can go up to 20 euros. It depends on the… Customers, what they are looking for, green too. Not all Norwegians can afford it, even though the salaries here are high. 3000 euros net monthly on average. At the Slate, France is everywhere, on the walls and shelves, but especially on the plates. What Charles is preparing. Braised eggs, Chinese water gratin. Since it’s a coffee sauce, I serve it in a coffee cup. Customers who come here, what they want, It’s eating French. We try to bring them this experience, at least at the restaurant, so French music, French cuisine. The young leader, in Norway for 4 years, knows well that the Palace of Osloids is more and more demanding. Norway was a poor country for a very long time, So they ate to feed themselves, not for fun. They were potatoes, mutton and fish, And then, there you go, Now they are opening up more and more to… With the gastronomy factory, There are Norwegian chefs who win the Locus d’Or. But for all that, These Norwegian customers do not always understand why a French chef is revisiting traditional dishes with his own twist. I once had a customer who showed the server a photo of a Coq au vin and said, “No, that’s it, a Coq au vin.” Except that it was necessary to explain, He doesn’t understand that this is my interpretation of CoQ au vin. Six o’clock. It was also necessary to get used to a different rhythm. Because in Norway, we eat early, towards 5 p.m., usually. So Charles and Jodie are ready. At the same time, Helen, the mother of the family, begins his day, as per usual, in song. She is not a singing teacher, She has a degree in linguistics. With his friend Marion, She created a French school 5 years ago. The two young women give around forty private lessons per week. What is it called? Children Mainly to adults. But it was thanks to these workshops for toddlers that their business took off. An apple, Super Eliott Words, songs remain and little by little, We see it, moreover, throughout the workshops, they express themselves, There is a word that will come out. The younger they are, the more they learn different languages. You take the carrot In Oslo, we count 25% of foreigners. So, speaking several languages became the norm. Here, the children are all from mixed couples, mostly Franco-Norwegian. This awakening in French is necessary for them. Since they don’t have French here, they are at Norwegian school, at the Norwegian nursery, for the most part. They only have the language with one parent at home, often. So it just shows that there is also French, that we can express ourselves in French, that we can play in French, that we can meet other French children. They grow up uninhibited, surrounded by other children who, like them, are introduced to the language by their parents’ godparents. My dad speaks Norwegian to him, At the nursery, it’s exclusively Norwegian. In the end, You put two children to hear Norwegian. 90% time? I’m also rather careless. Alright, He may have difficulty expressing himself because he doesn’t know what language to use. It’s a beautiful gift, I think, to start life with several languages. Oslo does not attract just any social class. What color is the potato? Most of the parents here are engineers, executives or private teachers. Most are well-off, because the city is one of the most expensive in the world. To live there, expect to pay an average of 8,000 euros per square meter. And in the nice neighborhoods, like that of embassies, This rises to 10,000 euros. This is the average in Paris. Barely 15 days in Oslo, Colline lives far from all this. Astrid, his new friend, here for 5 months, wants to show him the atmosphere of the city center. This is crazy, we don’t see anyone even though we’re on a huge street. We are indeed on the busiest street in the city, Karl-Johannes-Gate, the one that leads straight to the Palais-Royal. That of luxury brands and ready-to-wear brands. At the end of this morning, like actually all day here, The atmosphere there is very peaceful. I come from Lyon and it’s not at all. The small neighborhoods, a bit like Saint-Jean in Lyon, where there are really tiny streets. There, everything is very big, It’s very quiet. It must be said that most transport in the city is done by bus, by tram, by bike. And the vast majority of cars run on electricity. The cinema is expensive, or have you already been there? I went with the plate, but overall it’s 15 and 20 euros. Ah, yeah But movie sets, we come across some here, heading a little further south of the city. There’s a movie thing. This kind of building takes us straight back to those old movies where the bad guys come from Eastern Europe. It’s so beautiful, the two streets. We are actually at the town hall and in this majestic room… The greatest personalities of this world have passed away. It’s so beautiful! Like Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela or Mother Teresa. This is where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded every year. It’s super colorful, While the exterior of the building, we don’t expect it at all. The most influential people who have been there, It’s still impressive. The smartest, most everything. It’s the Nobel Peace Prize. But the City holds other secrets. Like the thousands of sculptures and their mysteries that we come across on every street corner. Oh yes, and there too, There is still a statue. It’s so beautiful with the boats lit up. Behind, the town hall, on the fjord, There is a tiny one, whose hiding place is shared only among initiates. But no, but it’s not a mermaid at all. If. He’s a guy with a beard. No, It’s Jem. But no That’s for sure, We don’t necessarily live in the guides we can find. That, typically, It’s a discovery. This is so cool. And strolling through the streets of Oslo, we can also make other discoveries, much more surprising for the French. Bulk, It is the flag of France. And yes, It is mostly written in French. Oh yes ! Toilets, freedom, equality, fraternity. It is a proof of love for time. Yes, on the one hand, yes, After that, there are still toilets. But it’s funny because you don’t expect it at all. In Norway, The French have an excellent reputation. It’s partly thanks to artists like Younes. With Camille and Raphaël, They are about to test their brand new creation. This is the first try. This pastry. What they came up with for Valentine’s Day. We thought it would be interesting to have the heart to share. It was a bit of a cliché, but that was kind of the idea. The meringue, the almond biscuit, the calici anamella. That might be a bit generous. It’s for two, What. Share. What was in the… Two goats, Camille. But there are still some adjustments to be made. We’re going to put a little lime zest in the… In the raspberry? Yeah. In lychee too, to break this taste a little. I think it’s good, but I still find it a bit sweet. Charm the taste buds, it is taking the path of the heart. So the French Touch in gastronomy, it works in matters of seduction A French man who makes cakes here in Norway. At the coast, Yeah. Ah, He is the king of oil. No, not the king of oil, but when it comes to trouble, What. Because Younes is not single. He has been alive for seven months. In the center of Oslo, with Mia, his Norwegian girlfriend. She is 25 years old and works for a large French luxury house. On a daily basis, in their relationship, none of them speak their mother tongue. I think we need to put some paper, No We only speak English constantly, because my Norwegian is still very rough. But then his French too, Besides. In Norway, like everywhere in the world, The French have a reputation that precedes them. They are arrogant and romantic. Rather arrogant. They have high self-esteem. They know what they want and they do everything to get it. In this country where equality between men and women seems to be a given, Men would flirt little. Seduction, It is also a cultural matter. In Norway, Men don’t make much effort to seduce. And I think many Norwegian women would like the door opened for them. Let us be gallant towards them. Classic Those who are not most Norwegians. They are Norwegians who also live, I think. I was wondering how I managed to find you. It must be thanks to your pastries. Actually, These are the cakes he filled before me. So, That’s it. Can we move on? Just behind, the Royal Palace, in the Embassy district, the most upscale in town, to do his shopping, Helen, the French teacher, has no choice. There is no hypermarket in the area. She goes to the local supermarket every other day. We take some small apples. It’s smaller, there is less choice on certain products. Take a small fillet of salmon. As often, She is mainly looking for something to make her children’s morning sandwiches, the morning not only that. So, there, you see here, It’s quite funny. Actually, All this, It’s for making the morning not only that. So that’s why it’s very convenient. It’s all in tubes or little boxes like that. So, there, For example, I’ll show you a tube. That, It’s macro in a tube. That, It’s caviar. That. It’s also for putting on toast. So this, These are slightly marinated shrimp. And there, I’ll have another salamis, exactly. In Norwegian supermarkets, Another ray is just as popular. And it’s not the one you think. There is a very, very large section for Mexican food. And in fact, The tacos here, It is one of the most popular dishes eaten by Norwegians. And we too, for the moment, We eat them regularly at home. If Mexico is in the spotlight here, France is poorly represented. Here, we have a French brie. He looks a little tough. There is Camembert, too, rustic. Brie, that one, he is 79, 80 euros, So I’ll pay 8 euros for this cheese. It’s not cheap. It’s difficult to eat French, Yes. Here is your ticket. Thanks to fate. To you. She spends on average here 160 euros per week. But she’s not finished yet. To eat French, she has to go to Picard. The store has been open here for just over two years. I like it, It’s true, Buy small cakes for aperitifs from time to time, Because that, it doesn’t exist. Elsewhere, there is absolutely nothing. I’ll have some peas. For children too, there is always… To find little schoolchildren, our childhood cakes, It’s nice. Small pleasures that come at a price. Because, Above all, accounting taxes and real estate prices. In the neighborhood, each product is 2 to 3. Three times more expensive than in France. I no longer calculate in euros every time what we did at the beginning. I hardly do it anymore, actually. So sometimes, obviously, there is something that seems priceless to me, I don’t take it. But otherwise, honestly, I pay less attention than before. Total for four items, 23 euros. But cooking at home is still cheaper than eating out. It’s 3:00 p.m. at Restaurant Lardoise and there’s an emergency that Jody needs to take care of. There, I’m going to buy some Hermagnac Cognac for the restaurant. In Norway, You can’t buy alcohol just anywhere. Its sale is only possible in state stores run by the Ministry of Health. A way to control its consumption. We’re going to Vinomopolet. This is the only place where you can find alcohol, apart from the beers you can find in the supermarket. But these liquor stores close early, 6 p.m. on weekdays, 4 p.m. on Saturday. Norwegians therefore often have to queue. It’s almost closing time. As a result, people, before leaving for the weekend, They absolutely want to buy alcohol. Otherwise, It’s closed on Sundays. It’s Nicaragua for them. Inside, we only find alcohol, of all kinds. Three to four times more expensive than in France. But there is no other solution. I’ll look for some, especially digestives, because Norwegians are very fond of French drinks. The body is stupid. And to buy alcoholic drinks, you even have to prove your age, at least for Jodie. Come on, Yes. A New Week. You want a bag Without the mask, Please. Because I look young, apparently. In Norway, You must be 18 years old to buy wine or beer. For alcohol, strong. But there is another, more confidential way, that one, to acquire a spirit drink. To do this, you need to be initiated into ancestral traditions dating back to the Vikings. We find Arnaud, the ice diver in Oslo harbor. By hand, he holds a strange, empty can, which he intends to bring back filled with a precious elixir. Every half hour, one of its shuttle boats leaves the city center. They are a bit like the suburban trains of the Norwegian capital, except that they glide over the fjord, open to the North Sea. A tiny bit of ice there. Not much, but there are still pieces that are broken from before. For now, I haven’t gotten tired of it yet. And to see it with snow now, and to see it in the middle of summer, We are a little more connected to the seasons. And so we go there, on the tip of the peninsula called Nesoden. Nesoden, 8 km from the center of Oslo by sea, but 50 by road. On arrival, Arnaud is welcomed by his friend, Toursolver. Every two months, He ends up at the 72-year-old Norwegian’s house. A small, traditional brewery that Thurholver built with his own hands. She is in her garden. Inside, Arnaud and Thurholver join Therrier, former executive of a prestigious Norwegian beer brand. But here, we are far from a big company. To maintain the tradition, the three men brew in the Viking manner, in this witch’s cauldron, according to recipes that sound like magic formulas. A little juniper and a little honey. Make this traditional beer, that they will not sell, It’s mostly an excuse to immerse yourself in Norwegian culture. It’s a good opportunity to meet up and talk about beer, on what we eat, on politics, culture. And to touch the heart of this culture, Arnaud has an essential asset. Based in Oslo since 1997, He speaks Norwegian fluently. It opens a lot of doors, It allows you to be more integrated, more easily, to be in contact and understand that, It’s called an eldhus, it’s made in larvae, It helps you understand where things come from. I even learn dialect words that very few people know, that I can’t reuse afterward, because only they would know. After several hours of preparation, The final touch, an incantation to perpetuate the Viking tradition. We leave the honor to the yeast, to finish the work and transform the mash into beer. So, Théréé. Ohoy, ohoy, ohoy, ohoy, ohoy. THANKS. It’s a magical moment. This is a beer we made three months ago. Yes. She is slightly too much. Yes, it is not filtered. A nice foam. What’s it like to drink beer when you’ve been limping yourself? We say to ourselves that we must make more of them because they are rather successful. So it will go well with cheese. It’s good. Last Lichette of this magic potion. To be consumed with Arnaud, any lifter, terrier, but above all moderation. The taste is better. Back to the city center. He is 5 p.m. It’s dark, pitch black. In the kitchen of his restaurant, Charles is busy. Two appetizers, to follow two entries of the day and to follow there will be two beefs, Please. But cooking in the French way, It’s not necessarily easy in Oslo. Winter, There isn’t much growing under the ice and snow. I use a lot of roots. Carrots, parsnip, this kind of thing. Number 34, please. In the room, Jody Allen provides service with a French accent, to cut with a knife. Sir, lady, for you, the quail. Thank you so much, Good evening. And wine tasting. Who is in charge, Madam or Sir Who is in charge? We always try to use French words. Good morning, Mrs, Good evening. We add a little French touch when we arrive at the restaurant. It puts them in the picture when they arrive. Customers are often passionate about France. It’s a beautiful place. I miss France. It’s almost like being in Paris. 9 p.m., end of service on the slate, as in most restaurants in the Norwegian capital. Oh yes, We finish much earlier than in France. That’s pretty cool. We can go home quite early. We can go out after that, go for a drink if you want. Charles wants to go further. After France, It is Brittany that he wants to show the Norwegians. On my next card, there will be the sausage pancake, revisited, So I think we can’t get more Breton there. In a working-class neighborhood, on the outskirts of the city center, we find Colline, who quickly fit into the mold of most Oslo students. She even already knows some good tips for saving on her budget. For example, his skis. She borrows them. She returned these skis to an association that lends equipment to families in disadvantaged neighborhoods and to students. We give people who would otherwise not be able to enjoy outdoor recreation the opportunity. And we try to make it happen as simply as possible. Actually, to borrow here, no credit card and no deposit. We just leave a name and a phone number. It’s all based on trust. It’s super quality. I try them like this, I’m sure they look good on me. I think we’re good. They’ll just enter my first name into the system and then I can take it with me. And she can borrow everything stored here every week. Sled, ski… Hiking equipment, skateboard. The State subsidizes the association at 90%. The rest, These are donations in cash or in material form, always good quality. Yes, We buy equipment that will last, because many people use it and some mistreat them a little. That’s why we always take excellent quality. Even though she receives an Erasmus grant of 350 euros every month. And a grant from the Lyon metropolitan area of 250 euros. They are yours for the week. THANKS. Like all the students here, Colline manages as best she can, with his limited means. She will be back in Lyon next June, but intends to return. Do some hiking in the area, in summer this time. When they are not in their restaurant, the partners Charles and Jody enjoy the snowy landscapes. Leila, Charles’s dog, Love it. She is happy. If she is happy, I am happy. Charles settled an hour outside Oslo, in the small village of Arestua. Tired of sliding in the snow running after this Husky cross, the rivers. He had the idea of attaching it to this traditional Norwegian sled. She shoots, She is super strong. And so, suddenly, When we walk, It’s complicated. And one day, I said to myself, hold, if I tied it to the sled, since she wants to shoot, And then it will work right away. So now, like that, everyone is happy. He can shoot, go fast, And then me, I’m having fun at the same time too. In the Oslo region, for 4 years, this father of a little boy, separated from a Norwegian woman, found a way to warm his heart. Gouinadou anyway. Here again, we have Brittany. Scallop Cookies. This is the hall, This is Brittany. The little SAS Brittany. And to maintain a link with France, Charles can also count on the Norman, Aurel San. The vinyls, CDs, Aurel San. He accompanies me every day. That, This is Aurel San’s latest album. But I didn’t get the golden ticket. Just because I live in Norway doesn’t mean I listen to Norwegian music. No, No, No, I continue. I still have my French music. And then some… French movies and TV shows. We still stay connected to our roots. Does it feel good when you can potentially feel a little far from France? I don’t feel far from France at all. I don’t miss it at all. I think maybe in retirement, I will return to live in Brittany, but I won’t be able to return to live in France. Good, who takes the stroller to the skate Same feeling from Hélène, the French teacher. With her husband, Eric, she is receiving part of the family this weekend, coming from France. There, We are at Soxvane Lake. And we, We’ll cross that far, and in fact, There is a track for ice skating. And summer, We go there a lot to swim too, So it’s very nice to see it in winter. In summer, Temperatures vary between 15 and 25 degrees. Be careful, Dad, it slips, it slips But in winter, The lake is risky for Parisians. Those are the right crampons, No Wow Dad ! Wow! Where is your beast? Are you okay, Dad? Attention ! Yeah, PfFF Attention ! Go. Sit over there, Dad, you scare me! Dad, you’re scaring me! She’s a nice skater. You don’t put on skates, then No, I won’t wear skates. I was never a good skater and I think I am. But it’s still tense. I won’t do it. This natural ice rink is 10 minutes from their home by metro. Hélène and her children come here regularly. Come on, here we go. Let’s start If Dad chickened out, Mom took to the track. Breton, of origin, she too. Véronique has become accustomed to Nordic leisure activities. She travels back and forth between Paris and Oslo every 6 weeks. We manage to see each other quite regularly. Children see us often. It’s less far than going to Brittany. When we go to Brittany, it takes 4h30 or 5h. Eventually, It’s the same thing. And she’s going to have to get used to it. His daughter has no intention of returning to France at the moment. I would have a lot of trouble, I think, to leave again. In any case, in Paris. Me, I always lived in Paris before we got used to this quality of life, this nature. It’s true that I would have a lot of trouble going back. In the crowd, the noise. And one of the benefits that the Norwegian capital offers is found in these small wooden cabins floating on the Oslo Fjord. Once again, right in the city center. Opposite the new Monck Museum and opposite the Opera. I don’t think we can do more, actually. At least once a month, Younes, Raphael and Camille enjoy this Nordic specialty. The sauna. The famous heat baths at almost 80 degrees. If we hear English, This is one of the main reasons why I came here. Everyone agrees that it is a rhythm of life, It’s a way of life too. Which is healthy, which is simple. We’re going to go and receive whoever is there. But here, Sonar must be accompanied by a leap of boldness. A jump directly into the Oslo Fjord, in water at only 2 degrees. We are stuck in the ice. And after, you have to get out pretty quickly. And we go back to the show. I don’t think it did much for you. If, It’s still a thermal shock. But it wakes you up. We are a little softened by the show, etc. And there, I feel like I have the touch. Not everyone is as reckless as Raphael. So sometimes you need a little help. Oh ! It’s salty. She died of ice. I have hair, They are frozen. Ah, yeah, the skin, we feel that it is shrinking. No, actually, no, It feels good. The tradition, It’s about going back and forth between the stifling heat and the biting cold. The first jump, This is the most fear. After, I really want to wait there. That would be it, the Nordic secret of beauty and well-being. That’s not what I said! It’s not to say, It’s the truth. The tapes had been well maintained. A leap of faith into the Far East to feel young for longer. Especially since the future looks bright for Younes. The young chef is in the running to become Norway’s best pastry chef.

Trop bien!
holy cow! that was just crazy diving into the ice pool.
Cela n'est point de la nourriture Mexicaine mais la nourriture Tex-Mex americaine inspirée du Mexique
