  1. Have you had your sit bones measured?

That’s the start of your saddle finding journey.

Get your sit bones measured, and go from there. Or, be irresponsible like myself and buy way too many saddles till you find one that fits you best.

  3. Measure your ass and pick one that fits based on measurements. Otherwise you’re just gambling

Do not go enduro comp if you’re in the saddle a lot. I had one because I thought the oil slick rails were cool, but holy hell it’s a hard saddle. Couple times I had to get off and take a break during a longish climb, and that’s with a padded liner! XC/trail you’re in the saddle for a large % of time. I am an average shape.

Swapped it for SDG Bel Air V3 Max. Much better.

Ergon all the way. I’ve had mine over a year and am very surprised at how durable and comfortable it is. Great saddle.

I have the Ergon and it was a great upgrade from WTB Silverado. My junk doesn’t feel numb on long rides anymore. Highly recommend Ergon.

  7. I have both, the sqlabs is better for me, but the ergon is almost just as good, I would buy the sqlabs if I had to

The SQ lab saddle feels different than many others I have ridden with. You can feel it on the sit bones and it does give a nice ledge when climbing steeps but it is wider overall than other saddles. I personally swapped mine off because I had another saddle on another bike and I just liked it better.
