Remove the quicklinck, untangle the chain, reconnect that quicklinck and done.

It looks like you broke your derailleur while you were at it..?

is there a master link or quick link on the chain you can just undo? the chain is already routed incorrectly but while you probably can undo it it just isn’t worth it when you have to take the chain off anyway to reroute it

If it were me I’d break the chain and reinstall.
Get yourself a chain breaker.

Unless you disconnected the chain and reconnected it, this is impossible. There should be a way undo it without disconnecting the master link. That being said, I would disconnect it and re-route it correctly. Should be able to find a YT video for that no problem. The more pressing issue is that you’ve probably messed up the b-spring connection inside of your derailleur (the part that moves the chain from one gear to the other). The derailleur will have to be replaced and then the chain installed correctly. Like I said, should be about a million YT videos on how to do this. I would recommend the park tool videos as they are most trusted. You should be able to pick up a rear derailleur online. The part number for shimano rear derailleurs is stamped on the inside of the parallelogram. It should start something like RD-XXXX.

The chain has been twisted. No need to remove it to fix it, since it was never broken to get it in this position. You probably have to take the wheel back off though. It’d take me less time to fix this than to find my quick link plyers in my tool kit.

Lol, I’ve seen this before. Let me guess, you flipped the bike upside down and took the rear wheel off, didn’t you.
Thanks everyone!
