Kind of a 2 for 1 upgrade:
Really happy with the old girl! I just sent out the rear shock for a rebuild, replaced the pivot bearings and a new fork. Suntour had a great deal on their Durolux 36 so I picked one up. Just put on the orange stickers. I have done a ton of other upgrades over the years, the bike has served me well.
So far I’m extremely happy with the fork, it replaced a Suntour Aion 35 PCS. I beat the hell out of that fork for years and it did well. I pulled out and rebuilt the PCS damper and installed that into my Zeron 35 Coil for the hardtail.
The Torrent got a heavier spring and the PCS damper. Extremely happy with that fork and bike too. Much more support, it’s not as harsh and more traction.
Both bikes are noticeably better.
