Christian Prudhomme will free everyone up. Matej Mohoric is ready. Look at Visma Lease a Bike right away. Also, in the first positions, we’ll try to attack from the actual start. The tone is set. Yes. There, the yellow helmet of Visma Lease a Bike, in the very first positions to make the start. It’s Victor Campenaerts. His helmet isn’t full like the previous days. He changed helmets, Victor Campenaerts. We need air. We’ll need air today. Pavel Sivakov is no longer present alongside Tadej Pogacar, who has dropped out of the Yellow Jersey group. It’s a bit of a surprise. We knew he wasn’t in great shape. He’s been weakened for a few days, Pavel Sivakov, but still, to see him dropped out at this point in the race, while Biniam Girmay is still in the group. It’s a tough blow for Tadej Pogacar, who already lost the Portuguese rider, Almeida, yesterday. We’re with this leading group now less than 900 meters from the summit of this first climb of the day. Less than 900 meters from the summit of the Côte de Loubeyrat. We have 20 riders in front, we have 10 riders trying to break away. Whoa! Simon Yates. Come on, let’s send Simon Yates. We’re putting it out at all levels. As for the Visma Lease a Bike team, we’re blowing up the peloton, or at least what’s left of it, and maybe making the UAE Emirates team implode. The gap has never been so big at 26 seconds for the front of the race. 28. And Lenny Martinez who really wants the gap to grow, precisely. 28. There are 28 at the front. With the return, we recall, of Simon Yates. We have two of Vingegaard’s teammates at the front. The Côte de la Baraque. The Baraque. Here it is, the Côte de la Baraque. Come on, a little sprint. We’ll have to work hard anyway, Johannessen who is keen to get the points again. Lenny Martínez who will try to overtake him on the line. Who will pass Lenny Martínez? There, we felt it. There are too many people not riding in the group of 30 riders. The overrepresented teams will cause chaos, Israel, EF and Jayco Alula. We understood that we were perhaps getting a bit buried in this group with too many riders hiding at the back. Ben O’Connor is gone. It’s off for Ben O’Connor, three riders from Jayco Alula. There was Luke Plapp, there was Mauro Schmid with him. It’s off in this Côte de Charade, as we’re about to enter the final 100 kilometers of this stage in a few moments. Arensman reacted with Quinn Simmons. Watch out, because the strong guys are there: Ben Healy, Lenny Martinez, who have joined Ben O’Connor. And then there’s Victor Campenaerts, who seemed to be hanging around at the back of the group since the start and who, there, followed this acceleration of the Dutchman, Arensman. There, it’s not even the same pace. Lenny Martinez, who remains in ambush behind, who continues to be forgotten. Objective: to collect, to collect the most points in the mountains classification. There are still five here. If he manages to move into the lead, that will make 15 in total after the five points of the Côte de Loubeyrat, the five points of the Côte de la Baraque. That’s the objective. Come on, we’ll leave it to him. Because we saw that Johannessen wanted to challenge him for points earlier , but the Uno-X team rider isn’t in the first part of this group. She played well. He’s filling up. A lot of points for Lenny Martínez. The white jersey with red polka dots is in the air. Tonight, near Mont-Dore – Puy de Sancy. It smells like a polka dot day. Tomorrow, on the occasion of this rest day, the first on the roads of the Tour. Watch out, Ben Healy, action. Ben Healy is going back. Alex Baudin, he doesn’t know. It’s gone. Now, everyone’s going. No one’s going to let him out. It’s going to be a close call on Ben Healy. We’ll have to be strong anyway to keep the wheel. Yes, Ben O’Connor, he had n’t left Ben Healy’s wheel for many kilometers . Neither did Campenaerts. Now, however, if it’s down to you or me, it’s going to be very complicated. We won’t be able to jump on everything that moves towards the last pass. If it were Victor Campenaerts too, why not? After all, Victor Campenaerts wants to stretch his legs and is taking advantage of it on this new climb up the Col de la Croix-Morand. Victor Campenaerts’ acceleration; we thought he was there in support, in support of a possible Visma Lease a Bike move in the finale for Jonas Vingegard. Finally, Victor Campenaerts stands on the pedals here and blows Alex Baudin away. Yes, if he had played tricks on us, the Visma Lease a Bike riders, always saying there’s a plan, today’s plan might have been to go into the breakaway to allow Simon Yates to win. Because we talk a lot about Ben Healy, we talk a lot about Quinn Simmons, who are in great form, about Lenny Martinez. But compared to each rider’s pedigree, who is the best climber in this group? The winner of the challenge. It’s Simon Yates. Come on, Ben Healy is back at it again. Oh my! He’s walking. How healthy, the Irishman. Ben Healy is back at it again. Quinn Simmons in his wheel. The campervans parked in numbers here, at the top of this Col de la Croix-Morand. We’ll be entering the last 40 kilometers of the stage in a few moments. We saw a Campenaerts, struggling to keep up. Blackmore is also announced, dropped from this leading group. Yet, the Israelis, we had just warned them. We have to be vigilant, follow Ben Healy. On the pedals, it’s going up too fast. Lenny, he’s not even scoring points. He’ll take zero points here. No points for Lenny Martínez here. Simon Yates, him, is twiddling his whiskers. It’s perfect for him. Yes. The ideal scenario. We light up between Quinn Simmons and Ben Healy. We mark each other, we attack, we follow each other, we counter each other. And meanwhile, he, he’s quietly settled in behind, Simon Yates. And he’s just waiting for one thing: to arrive at Mont-Dore with all these guys, to score just one that could be the right one. Come on, Quinn Simmons, who’s pushing, who’s making the effort. And it’s always Ben Hili running behind him. It’s always Ben Healy trying to get him. It’s every man for himself. It’s every man for himself behind. You’re not in a climber’s game, I remind you. Yes, yes. It’s the aperitif. Not a climber, but you see the percentages in the bottom right of your screen. He’s bleeding from the nose, Lenny. No, he’s making a point of honor. Ben Healy has come back to Quinn Simmons. Will he be able to attack him? Simon Yates who retreats one meter, two meters, and only keeps his distance, Simon Yates. There, the number of cartridges The lost match for Quinn Simmons and Ben Healy, that could be good enough for the other four because we still have four great riders between Simon Yates, Thymen Arensman, Ben O’Connor and Michael Storer. Whoa! The plan! Here he is in this uncharted hill. Tiesj Benoot, who’s coming to the forefront. It’s true, Michael Storer was in the mix. Third, third behind Quinn Simmons and Ben Healy. And Ben Healy, and there, for the moment, Quinn Simmons, he’s been forgotten. Visma Lease a bike, who’s coming to ride now. Visma Lease a bike, who, remember, still has men in front, Simon Yates and Victor Campenaerts. It’s jumping from behind. The acceleration of Visma Lease a Bike. Every day, we’re going to attack this UAE team. Every day, we’re going to try to hurt Tadej Pogacar. It starts now, more than 25 kilometers away, for the peloton, yellow jersey with Tiesj Benoot at work. Visma – Lease a Bike is preparing something for the finale of this tenth stage. Try to gain time on Tadej Pogacar, the three-time winner of the Tour de France, the current winner. Try to take a few seconds, perhaps, from the Slovenian, before the rest day tomorrow near Toulouse. Jorgenson, here we go. Matteo Jorgenson’s acceleration, now. After that, Sepp Kuss, it’s Jorgenson. This time, Tadej Pogacar, he’s going for it. Yes, we’ll perhaps have Vingegaard’s counterattack, wedged in Pogacar’s wheel. We can see behind, it’s a close call with Narvaez, with Adam Yates who are there. Felix Gall, also well placed, the leader of the Écatelon team in Evenepoel’s wheel , but behind, there seems to be a break, behind Felix Gall. Roglic. Very good today. Come on, right away, Narvaez will move in front, set the pace. Come on, Kevin Vauquelin, it’s a little harder for Kevin Vauquelin, but he will make the effort to get back to the group of favorites. We’ll see him at the bottom of your screen. I think he’ll come in. Kevin Vauquelin, here he is with Sepp Kuss. He even has a teammate, Ewen Costiou, I imagine. Yeah, little Ewen Costiou who was coming in with… Unless it’s Rodriguez. And Sepp Kuss returns. Sepp Kuss returns, the American. Adam Yates, doesn’t go. He’s going to ask anyway. We let it happen. We let it happen. Obviously, Jorgenson attacks, we go. If Vingegaard attacks, we go. On the other hand, we let the American do it. You saw it in the top left of your screen during this time. Ben Healy is picking up the pace at the front of the race, followed by Michael Storer, third at Vire when the Irishman won. Isn’t he playing for the jersey? Yes, because right now, he’s the only one riding. He’s shooting himself in the foot for the stage. Unless he’s really above the rest and is going to drop everyone on this very steep section. For the moment, everyone is managing to keep up with Ben Healy. Maybe he’s just putting on the yellow jersey. How much is 3’55”, right? 3’55”, he had. Yes, but now, when we see the movement within the peloton, we say to ourselves that it’s going to be hard to get the yellow jersey. The objective would not be to win the stage for Ben Healy, but a patient who shoots himself in the foot. Attack from Jorgenson. Matteo Jorgenson goes for it. It might be Visma, in the end, who could lose this yellow jersey. Today, Ben Healy. Tadej Pogacar, immediately in the wheel. Jonas Vingegaard is right behind. We made them attack in turn. Tiesj Benoot, we made Sepp Kuss go, we made Matteo Jorgenson go, we made Kuss and Jorgenson go together. We now send the American back to the front. There comes a time when Jonas Vingegaard is bound to try something. We want to put pressure on Pogacar, we want to put pressure on the entire UAE team. I don’t see Yates. If he’s there, Yates a little further down. Oh Skjelmose, the first top 10 to break? An Arkéa isn’t Vauquelin, it’s Rodriguez. Bib number 133, that’s Costiou, even. It’s Costiou. It’s the young Ewen Costiou, the 133rd who’s now distanced. Jorgenson continues. It’s still looking like Jonas Vingegaard’s launch. We’re about to enter the final 10 kilometers of the race, as the frontrunners cross the Col de la Croix Saint-Robert. The penultimate climb listed today in the mountains classification. And it’s Ben Healy who will cross it in first place. Five points for the Irishman, Ben Healy. Things are going to change. Things are going to change. Things are changing. Things are changing again. Things are changing with Matteo Jorgenson. Then, Sepp Kuss, Matteo Jorgenson who pulls it back with 5 kilometers to go. It hurts behind. It hurts. We’re losing the old one. Matteo Jorgenson’s big relay, Tadej Pogacar, still in second place, but he’s alone. Tadej Pogacar, Jonas Vingegaard in third place. Remco Evenepoel just behind. Then we find Florian Lipowitz, Primoz Roglic, Felix Gall. It’s the first time we’ll find Pogacar alone, but we’re at the summit. There we have it, Simon Yates’ attack in the technical sections. As expected, the Giro winner is now accelerating and is distancing Ben Healy with 3,300 kilometers to go, at the foot of Mont Dore, of this finish, in Puy de Sancy. Simon Yates’ acceleration. We have the answer. We’re going to play for the stage victory above all for Vingegaard’s teammate. Simon Yates must have had permission to play his personal card today. A few weeks after winning the Giro d’Italia. Simon Yates may have saved a victory on the roads of the Tour de France today. And now, it’s going to be a last stand for Ben Healy, who will continue his individual time control. At 32, Simon Yates may be able to secure an extraordinary victory today on the first medium-mountain stage. It’s not done yet. It’s not done. Ben Healy is hanging on. Michael Storer also beaten. Michael Storer. You called him back by Quinn Simmons near Vire for second place. We’ll take off the earpiece. We can see what’s going on there, Simon Yates. Let me go now, I’m doing my race. We told him: get up, wait for Vingegaard. I’ll take off the earpiece. Come on, we’ll go back to Simon Yates, the second blade. Ben O’Connor who is forced to climb at his own pace. Two riders who haven’t won for a long time on the roads of the Tour. Ben O’Connor in 2021, Simon Yates in 2019. It’s Thymen Arensman who reacts. The INEOS rider also didn’t have the ideal start to the Tour de France. Less punchy than Simon Yates, but we know the Dutchman’s qualities. Watch out, he’s not going to give up like that. Thymen Arensman. Big gear for Arensman. A newcomer, Thymen Arensman, who had never participated in the Tour de France before this year. He turned around. It’s a very good sign. When you turn around like that. We’ll have to wait to see the Green Jersey group . Frankly, a finish. There are more than 28 minutes, almost 29 minutes for Jonathan Milan. You’re staying with us, of course, the kings of the pedals, to debrief this stage, to look ahead to tomorrow’s rest day, not necessarily, but to what awaits us next, and the Pyrenees which are now looming. Will there be a change of yellow jersey? Ben Healy, in any case, is fighting hard for it. Basically, a minute to cover two kilometers. For Ben Healy, not to lose a minute on these two kilometers. I thought the break was made for Yates, but Arensman, he’s there, in contact. Come on Ben. Ben Healy, to become a little more legendary. What a rider! What a temperament! 24-year-old Ben Healy. He won’t give up until the end. After his victory at Vire, he was one of the first attackers of the day after the intermediate sprint. 156 kilometers spent at the front, 43 alone to claim his first Stage victory in the Tour de France. Ben Healy is not a rider like the others. And today, he proves it again. He caught O’Connor. Incredible. Incredible. He is incredible. He’s even only 20 seconds behind the leader. It must not go well. He crashes. In the end, the guy doesn’t move. It’s Remco Evenepoel who moves within the Yellow Jersey group. Oscar Onley who goes. Jorgenson isn’t going for the moment. Neither is Tadej Pogacar. There are several distance games there. Yes, for the win, it will work. It will work for Visma Lease a Bike, it will work for Simon Yates. A 36th professional victory for Simon Yates. Another victory, the third on the roads of the Tour de France. He’s been waiting for it since 2019, this stage victory on the roads of the Tour. A completely crazy stage. The first mid-mountain stage of this Tour de France, won by a teammate of Jonas Vingegaard, who had his chance today. He didn’t miss it. Winner at Mont-Dore Puy-de-Sancy, Simon Yates. Second place for Thymen Arensman. First Tour de France. And a podium, second place for him in this stage. The fight for the general classification now. Come on, Remco resumed. He didn’t really push. I have that feeling. We’re waiting for Ben Healy on the line, who should be in the sprint, who will still take some small time bonuses. Third in the stage, four seconds. He knows it’s going to come down to very little. Come on, let’s start the clock because that’s the other story to follow. 30 seconds behind the leader. Four bonus seconds taken by Ben Healy with this place. Now the arrival of Ben O’Connor, who had a bit of a bad start to the Tour de France, falling in the streets of Lille on the first day. He’s back in form, Ben O’Connor. Attack from Pogacar. And Tadam Pogacar, who’s going to launch his attack now. The attack from the Slovenian, the three-time winner of the Tour de France, who hasn’t yet managed to get rid of Jonas Vingegaard, who remains stuck in the wheel. The world champion is in the yellow jersey. He was led all day by Visma Leasa a bike. They haven’t managed to destabilize him. He’s the one accelerating in the finale. Yes, Vingegaard turns around. It’s never good when Vingegaard turns around. Come on, another little squint. Same for the yellow jersey. Yes, but Vingegaard, he turned around. He saw Pogacar sit down again and that certainly boosted him a little. Will he try to counter him? We’re back with Lenny Martinez, who will be on the podium tonight for the weighted jersey he’ll be wearing. Pogacar is wary of it. He’s wary of it. Kevin Vauquelin, who’s hanging on. Yes, he’ll lose time, obviously, in the general classification, but he’ll fight until the end. Third in the general classification this morning, Kevin Vauquelin, who’ll fight, and who’ll certainly lose his place on the podium today. It’ll work. We’re only at the flamme rouge there in 200 meters for Ben Healy. We’re already 1’30”. Lenny Martinez, he’s back. It was a close call between Pogacar and Vingegard. There’s Remco Evenepoel who’ll lose time again today. Like Roglic, like Lipowitz, like Tobias Halland Johannessen, like Oscar Onley. They didn’t attack each other, they’re not going to sprint, it’s going to be a joy for Ben Healy. Not sure. Jacky, 10 seconds. They’re 200 meters away. Watch out for Vingegaad’s attack, who puts his hands down. Yes, he puts his hands down to sprint. It’s done! Ben Healy! Ben Healy will wear the yellow jersey. Ben Healy will spend the first rest day of this Tour de France in yellow. What a week for the Irishman after his victory. A real act today to secure the overall leader’s jersey. Ben Healy can smile, because he went and got it. Look, Remco Evenepoel, he’s not going to lose much. Neither will Red Bull-BORA-Hansgrohe, Roglic, Lipowitz, nor Oscar Onley. Status quo, practically. In any case, status quo between Pogacar and Vingegaard. The plan, we’ll still need someone to explain it to us. Come on, a quick look at the standings for this stage. So, Simon Yates ahead of Thymen Arensman and Ben Healy , who fought, who even took O’Connor and Storer to the finish, and finished ahead of them. Surreal performance today from Ben Healy who takes the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification, Lenny Martinez, the first Frenchman, 8th on this July 14th. 29 seconds between Ben Healy and Tadej Pogacar, 2nd. That’s it. I’ll discover it with you. To be honest, I haven’t looked at this general classification yet. 29 seconds ahead for Ben Healy over Tadej Pogacar. On the Toulouse stage, Wednesday, there will be walls in the final, it will be hilly, but a priori, Ben Healy, he will be there. Remco Evenepoel is third, 1’29” behind. The bad news is for Kevin Vauquelin who drops from third to sixth place.
