After years of BMX and MTB I finally got a proper city bike

I say, screw heads up displays / head units.

If you have an old phone that still has a good.battery, use that! That’s what I do. There’s no middle man and if it breaks, the device was already obsolete to an extent.

And you could always carry a battery bank for it for extra long rides.
