I was planning on changing the straight front fork on my bike to this generic raked carbon I have laying around, but am getting cold feet now seeing the A-C difference. Mainly used in flat city conditions, fixed gear. Would the carbon fork make a drastic difference to the ride or am I overthinking this?

The bike is a crmo frame Windsor clockwork ~2012 or so, doing a full overhaul

  1. The ride will be fine. What I’m more concerned with is your tyres fitting the new fork and your brake calipers being too long to reach the rim.
