  1. you'd think a supposed mountain bike race would have features requiring an actual mountain bike? Pro CX courses are more technical than that short track. I'll bet Tom was wishing he could be on his CX bike. The XC course was fantastic!

  2. Boring I know, but presumably you want the biggest number of viewers. So if you tell them the main spolier, then loads of people won’t watch it.

  3. Too contrasty images.
I’m sure it was challenging conditions,
If possible with less contrast the light to dark would be less brutal, and picking up fast passing details would be easier to the eyes.
Even if this means a bit more speed blurring, we could have done with.

  4. In terms of recovery during multiple days of racing, the average mountain biker cannot compare to guys who ride grand tours.

  5. this guy was just a class above everyone else, just in the right position all the time in the short track and even crashing in the olympic and still winning ! You can see he loves it and thats what i like the most about his showing. Can anyone beat him, MVDP ?

  6. Pidcock is a fantastic cyclist, I watch him in cyclo cross and which is the most important for him according sprints even in MTB, road cycling, he got me, he's multiskilled and he is from Leeds where I live from many years.

  7. When I watch these guys digging deep when they put in an effort, I feel so grateful I am a bike rider because even tho I'm clearly not at their level, it doesn't matter because I also know what it's like to feel that way. I love that feeling. That was a beautiful race.

  8. Sorry for an ignorant question from someone who knows f'all about Mountainbiking (this is the first race I have ever seen) but wouldn't it be faster with a crossbike on this course?
