Hi, I am new new to cycling. Want to get into it and need help buying. I’ve asked those I am social with but no friends/coworkers etc. good with bikes. Shops have been helpful but I don’t want to spend $1200+, yet. Want to ride in 2025 and eventually invest in a great bike I love next season. Looking for gravel bike since we plan to mostly ride paved trails and road. Have kids so would like be more versatile than just road, may be on a packed surface with them. Have an old mountain bike for trails with kids. Gravel felt right as I don’t want a hybrid. Want to condition myself to eventually ride long distances on road or paved. Would this bike be a good deal or right kind of bike for me? Currently shopping on FB market place, live on east coast.
