In this episode of our Trans Euro Trail (TET) journey through Estonia, we’re joined by another subscriber for a day of intense adventure motorcycle riding that tests man and machine. As we push closer to Pärnu, the trail throws everything at us—deep mud, water crossings, and brutally technical off-road terrain. This is where big adventure bikes like the BMW R 1300 GS either shine or sink (sometimes literally).

This ride is perfect for ADV riders, big bike off-roaders, and dual-sport enthusiasts who want to see what the TET in Estonia is really like when conditions get tough. Whether you’re into BMW GS adventures, moto-camping, or just enjoy real-world motorcycle vlogs, you’ll get a firsthand look at the challenges and camaraderie that define adventure bike travel.

We don’t sugarcoat the struggle—expect mud, drops, trail-side fixes, and some serious laughs along the way. If you’re planning your own long-distance motorcycle trip, or just want to see how big bikes handle technical terrain, this one’s for you.

of my gang member. Woohoo! Nice riding position, man. They’ve elected to make me lead. Oh, yeah. Lovely. Lovely mud. You all right? Got a bit deep. There’s a deep spot. All right. So, we’ve just met up with another rider, Ingvar, and we’re going to jump onto the T. It’s finally not raining. Bit of dirt road. Here we go. Got everyone with us. Nice. Now we’re talking. So yeah, we joined up with Ingvar now. He wanted to meet us halfway, which is cool. It’s cool. We’ve got another rider with us. So we’re a three rider group now. Anyway, this is actually part of the T that I’ve never done before, which is cool. So it’s nice to see some new areas. I got to be a bit careful. It’s still wet, but thankfully the rain has stopped for now. Still got all three. But this is pretty awesome. I’ve met new friends through my uh YouTubing, which is cool. Awesome, man. So, we’ve got a Tennere Ingvar. Ingvar is on a Tennere, a brand new one. He’s got 2,000 km on it, which is pretty awesome. And uh it’s quite tall. It’s really tall, but good fun nevertheless. Nonetheless, nevertheless, look a stalk. He’s got some long legs. Oh, we’re back on dirt. Trying to show off. I shouldn’t do that. Got to get these guys on film, too. Oh, yeah. I made a mistake taking my pin lock out. My bloody visor keeps fogging up like crazy. Missed the corner, mate. This is fun being with other riders. It’s cool. I’m a part of a gang. I’m a gang member. He’s pretty confident with those tires on on the GS. like maybe he shouldn’t be on that side of the road, but anyway. Oh, we got dark clouds up ahead. The one good thing about the rain is it stopped the dust. So, I’m not getting caked in dust right now, which is nice. I’m still here, mate. I’m still here. Nice riding position, man. Looks good. Pretty cool. It’s also nerve-wracking for me. cuz it’s like these guys wanted to go on this ride because they wanted to ride with me and so I feel like I’m responsible in a way. And so if they have a crash, I feel responsible for that crash, which I know I’m not cuz I’m not the one setting the pace at the moment. They are. So, I know I’m not responsible, but I feel like I’d be responsible. Anyway, looks like we’ve had a bit of rain here. I’ll get back over to this side. Coming up to a little crossroad. I think this is what I like about the tent so much. It links up all these nice roads, links up all the dirt roads and whatnot and trails and all that jazz, but you also end up on pretty roads like this and you just see so much more of the countries or the countryside. Sorry. Well, so far it’s not technical. Oh, he hit a couple of big ones just then. So, Jerro’s been riding plenty of dirt roads in Finland. And look, I’m going to say your name wrong so many times, dude. I’m so sorry. I’m in the ballpark. And it’s not because it’s a difficult name. It’s because I’ve accidentally said Jirro and Jiru and now I’ve mixed myself up. So, don’t feel bad because I’ve actually mixed up my wife’s uh birthday in that way cuz I always joke to her. I always said, “Oh, was your birthday on the 19th or the 18th?” And then I I screwed up and then I couldn’t remember what bloody day it was. So, JRo, pretty sure it’s JRO cuz I think I’ve been saying it like a French way, Jiru. And uh that’s wrong. I think. Thank you, Mr. Car. Give the car a big thumbs up. It’s a very friendly car. I like that. Anyway, he’s been riding plenty of dirt roads in Finland. I can see he’s even got one hand off the bars. He’s just This is standard. This is his standard commute to work this one. And so, both these guys have come off street bikes and just decided, oh, well, I want to I want to do some adventure bikes. So JRo has uh been on his GS for a year now and Ingvar Ingva Ingvar has been on his bike for 2,000 km. I actually don’t know how how long he’s had it. Maybe just this season, but 2,000 km anyway. Uh and previous to that, they’ve both had a S1000R or something. The the BMW Okay, it looks like we might have some ruts here. So, bit of focus. I hope these guys aren’t going quicker just because they’re with me. I hope they’re doing their pace, not not trying to show off. I did tell them to do their pace. Looks like it could get slippery here. Nice. Uh, just straight through it. Straight through the puddles. I got to make sure I’m not going to go up the ass end of anyone. Big puddle. Big splash. That was a bit deeper than expected. Wasn’t very deep, but still. I’m still here. I’m still with you. Don’t worry. Thanks for checking on me. It is very slippery. Let’s see how deep this is. Uh, almost nothing. Oh, so felt like just spraying them. It’s fun going through water. Okay, let’s film some Ingvar. And he’s moving. He is going a lot quicker than I expected him to on those tires. That’s for sure. Cuz it’s slippery here. Make no mistake. It’s slippery. Huh? This has been a fun trail. It’s quite uh twisty and nice and flowy. It’s not just straight dirt roads. So, this has been good. They’ve elected to make me lead. I don’t know if it’s getting more difficult now or what the story is. There’s been a couple of little ruts here and there, but nothing too severe. When are we going to turn off this road? Yeah. Oh, I don’t know. Just at some stage we will. Okay, now the fun can begin. Oh yeah. Lovely, lovely mod. JRo’s going to struggle the most with this cuz he’s on uh adventure tires. Apparently, I’m the second most struggling. You all right? You good? Yeah. Yeah, I’m all good. He’s Yeah, he’s struggling the most. The cameraman must always go back for the camera. Ah, stop it there. The joys of filming a ride. I get to ride it multiple times. Okay, that was fun. The cameraman always has to do a couple of laps. Got a bit deep. There’s a deep spot. And then you got to just come over here. Oh yeah. Cameraman gets all the fun. That was close. Yeah. You all good? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, there’s some deep stuff here. Every now and then it just drops like that. Oh, that’s a deep one. I’m going to stay down for a moment. do some pedaling through. Hey, he’s all good. Adventure. Do you need a hand, mate, or you all right? Yeah. I I would have never done this alone. Yeah, I’m the same. Nice, man. Oh. Oh. What’s happening here? You all right? Yeah. Okay. Couple of deep ones. Cameraman never dies. Remember that. The cameraman may drown his bike every now and then, though. Oh. Oh. I think it’s better to get over this side. Could be deep this one. Oh yeah. Not too bad. It’s reasonably solid ground, which is nice. It’s still pretty difficult. Oh, deep spot. You really got to work your clutch here. Ah, damn it. Make sure these guys are all right. They seem to be. Stay seated. I got a mosquito on my face. There we go. Make sure they’re all right. We got one GS through. Nice, man. Well done. Tenner. Whoa. Tener is getting crossed. A Tener down. Oh, he’s got to back up. Nice work, man. Good job. You got this, man. Little bit further. Nice. Hey, nice work, man. You got this. You all right? You haven’t hurt yourself. No, no, no. I’m good. All right. Catching, bro. Yeah. Yeah. Take your time. Take a breather. Yeah, man. I’ll come to you. Now that’s a true Estonian adventure. This is the heaviest thing I’ve been doing. Yeah. Oh, cool. It’s good that he’s uh pushing yourself. Nice. Well done. So, two for four. Two for zero. Yeah. Although I almost had one in that puddle. Bloody hell. Came up to above my shoe. Yeah, you got some. Did you drop it in the water or were you just out of it? I couldn’t quite see in the middle of it was was one drop, but then I got it. It was like on the side. So, not in not not in the middle middle of that part. Right. Right. And that’s why I was sitting down on those uh crazy parts. And that’s all right. Yeah, that’s basically 2,000 km on the bike, but on like on debt, I believe it’s 500. So, and that’s the only adventure I’ve been doing anyway. Yeah. Okay. Like ever, man. And it’s this is like the the harder adventure that there is. Definitely. Right. Definitely. No, but that was good. And like you said, I would never do this alone. Yeah. Yeah. Like I would never like what to do. I don’t think uh if you call the towing service, I don’t think they’re going to send Not going to come down here. We’ve done like 1 km of tap since the fuel station. We did like a full workout, you know. Like I be at the gym for 1 hour. Yeah. A couple of deep slots that I wasn’t expecting. You’re just riding riding more. Oh [ __ ] I was like, I believe these are wet legs because it doesn’t count if you dropped it in the water. Yeah. Now for I go back. Yeah. For that comment. I’m going to end up in the ditch now. Yeah. That’s what I get. We need a thumbnail though. Yes. Do it for the YouTube. Yeah.
