Oh, not no chance there for Rubio. Finger guard right at the front for Ganter. Almost right at the back. And there’s no uh no teammates there for Vinegard. The summit of the climb coming up. These two breakaway riders heading up there. It’s going to be Burgdo who is going to be first over the top. There he goes. Finally. It’s way too much. Burgo goes clear. Verse is dropped. It’s going to have to be a big effort for him to come back. Going to burn the legs, Nico. Yes, it is. And he might have to do it alone because I think most of his teammates are actually in the very front of the Pelaton looking after. Oh, crash. Crash of one of the Israel Premier Tech riders. Well, the cavalry is charging and they’re about to bring him back into the group at 50 km an hour. Inside 10 km of racing now remain on stage eight of the tour. Big move by Dylan Gronov on the right hand side. Wow, that was a bit of a dive bomb on the inside to move up about 30 places. There it is. Rider is slowing right down throwing the bike in the front. That’s Moridge and the gap opening. Milan lent on Kaden Groves who kind of overshot that corner a little bit. Big move by Pavle Bitner. Attack on the left hand side. Is that uh is that Penowette or is that Gregoire? I’ll tell you who it is. It is going to be Lewis Asi. Lewis Asi is up there for the team of group armor being led out. Here goes the sprint now. Jonathan Milan firing to try and win his first ever stage of the tour to France. Well, Vanar’s going to challenge Jonathan Milan, but it is going to be no doubt the Italian sits up confident. Wins stage number eight. The first stage win in the tour for Jonathan Milan. Sees the opportunity, knows where he needs to go. Powers out. Bonard comes very close onto the right. Not enough. Good effort there by the Alpas in the Skunic team, but it’s just not at the level of these two riders. Wow, Vanard second on the stage right on the wheel of Jonathan Milan. Coming in furnace is a good sprint there by White Renard. Hasn’t been sprinting in a while. Fantastic sprint.
