Hello
I have a Merida scultura 300 (the blue one in the photo) with a stock comp seat post and a comp SL seat.
I can't make my seat horizontal and it's always tilted slightly upwards. The post has only one screw and loosening and trytto push down hasn't worked.
Any help how to make it horizontal would be appreciated.

The glamour shot of your bicycle isn’t really helping us much.
If your seat needs to be that far back you should get a different seatpost with more offset. Otherwise adjust your seat further forward so your weight doesn’t have so much lever action against the poor seat clamp.
Sorry about the photo, it was the most recent one,

here’s a better photo
The convex washer under the seat clamp bolt has metal ribs that lock into notches on the seatpost to set the angle of the saddle (sometimes these ribs are on the body of the clamp itself, but that doesn’t change the process). You just need to loosen the seat clamp bolt enough for these ribs and notches to disengage. At which point, you can rotate the clamp to your preferred position, and then lock everything down again by re-tightening the bolt.
