Currently been looking at a lot of bikes lately but don't have a ton of knowledge about them and no one i know really does as well. Trying to get pretty serious about cycling and would rather start off with decent stuff than buy more stuff next season.

Found this Mash Sf Allroad that is just my size(53cm) with what seems like a pretty good setup to me from what i can find but seems a little overpriced to me at least? He said he is dececently negotiable though so probably could get it down to at least 2k.

Here is the sellers description

"Up for sale is my awesome steel MASH all road, size Medium (53cm), super fun, aggressive geo all road bike, can fit up to 700x35c knobby gravel tires too, has 2 mounts on either side of fork as well!

Currently set up with (carbon) ENVE foundation 65’s as a roadie, Camagnolo ekar 1×13 groupset (carbon cranks and levers), Carbon Salsa seatpost, Zipp service course bar (40cm) and stem (100cm) with some fresh ENVE bar tape, Carbon bottle cage!

Does not come with pedals

Hmu & come snag this head turner! lightly used and in great shape, maybe 150 miles on the build and 250 on the frame!"

Any help is greatly appreciated and cant wait to get started with this hobby

The groupset and wheels are probably worth $2k. This is a steal.. which makes me also wonder if it’s stolen

  2. I’m going to disagree with the other commenters – this an amazing deal, and I don’t think it’s stolen. The seller seems to know quite a bit about their bike, which you very rarely see on stolen bikes. The knowledge on the group and bar tape clinches it for me. If you don’t get it I might lol

If you want to get started with this hobby you might want to look at something a little less aggressive. This is quite the setup. If you are starting out, prepare for some uneasy riding on this bike. I would advise you to go to your lbs and try some bikes. He or she might have a nice second hand bike to your liking and can set it up for you. This gives you the right start with a very nice hobby!

  4. Suspiciously low price but sometimes rich people just sell their shit and need it gone fast

Steel frame, carbon wheels worth 4x the frame. What am I missing? Is this common practice nowadays?
