The White Pillar
The white pillar is already mentioned in the year 1407, then called Presler-Marter in the Abenberg tax book. It stands on the medieval military road, which in ancient times also appeared as the Burgundy, Ulm, and also Wine Road. Here, the historical field boundaries Dornich, Natterlach, and Trudenespan meet. Legends surround this field monument, known for centuries as the White Pillar. It forms a striking station on the Way of St. James from Nuremberg to Ulm and Compostela.
