Looking for my first tri bike and found this for $400 used. Claims to be tuned up and ready, but I’m hesitant because it’s 28 years old. Would you buy a bike this old?

It’s not an r4000, it’s an r700, and it isn’t in the 97 catalog so its a bit older than that. Personally I wouldn’t pay so much for it, when you can easily get a decent used newer bike for that price and then just add aero bars to it.
